An amazing experience, in the truly “Hakuna Matata”-spirit
We’ve enjoyed the 8 days Great Migration-safari. Our first safari experience, that exceeded our expectations since we have seen all The Big Five animals.
One of the highlights of the trip was the crossing of the animals of the Mara River in the North of Serengeti. If you have enough time, it’s totally worth it to make the detour.
Our holiday started out with a bummer, because our luggage had not arrived. Faraja and our guide Gilbert have done a lot of effort to keep in touch with the Lost and found-department of the airport. They made sure that the bags were delivered to us, which was very much appreciated.
All communication with the agency via Whatsapp was clear and friendly, all timings were respected.
About our guide Gilbert: he has done a maximal effort to make us spot as many animals as possible. He’s a really nice guy to spend many hours in the car with. (Both in English and French)
Concerning hotels and meals: also no complaints at all. Diners in the hotels were nice and well arranged, as well as the lunchboxes prepared to take on our daily adventures.
Certainly this has been a holiday never to forget!

Everything is outstanding
It is an outstanding experiense. Everything was amazing: de country, the drives, the lodges and tented camps in the seringety. We saw a lot of animals en several times the big five.
The migration in de Mara river was very special.

The most amazing experience ever
The whole trip was organised to our needs and wants. Brendon and Bev made sure all our questions were answered and checked in throughout the trip. This reassured us as two females travelling to South Africa for the first time they made us feel safe. We were picked up by Bhekifa from Johannesburg, he was an amazing driver and very knowledgeable and had so much love for the animals when talking about them. Our tour guide on the morning Game was Trevor, he managed to find 4/5 animals of the big 5 within the first hour of our drive. He was so passionate and knowledgeable on all the animals and Kruger National park. The Accomodation we were provided exceeded our expectations. Zarafa was our first stop and absolutely breathtaking, so beautiful and the service from the staff and owner was so accomodating to our needs. Overall had the best time on our 5 day safari tour with the Elephant Herd Tours and Safaris and you should definitely book with this company.

The best what you can choose
We have just returned home from our most memorable safari holiday in Kenya which will stay always in our memories and hearts. We would like to thank you many times for the smoothest and the best way as we have been treated. Thanks to Elijah´s prompt answers on many emails and questions and helping with the safari itinerary. He planned precisely everything from the pickup from hotel, through all memorable moments, folowing all the transfers, train tickets and drop off directly at our beach villa at Diani at the end. And the biggest thank you is for our guide and driver Patrick, who was as we all agreed the best of the best who could take care of us and who made our adventure unforgettable. Patrick is a great person with great heart, he was punctual every single day, gave us every information at time, managed to drive us safely through almost whole Kenya and answered every of our many questions. He was always attentive, and provided us always the best spots to see the wild animals.
