Masai Mara trip with Arony
4/5

The Masai Mara safari trip with our driver-cum-guide, Arony, was an excellent experience. We strongly feel Arony went above and beyond what was required, to make this a very enjoyable and memorable trip. It was obvious that he was not doing something just for a living, or a paycheck, but Arony was passionate about his responsibilities/role of taking us around, and providing us an outstanding safari experience. He was always alert, and constantly on the wireless communication system, regarding the sightings of the animals, and would immediately make adjustments to go to the relevant locations, and in time, for us to catch a glimpse of lions, cheetahs, elephants, the only leopard we could see, and other animals. Arony was also very knowledgeable about various aspects of the safari experience, and was always eager, and clear in his communications. The tented accommodation was modest, and so were the meals, but we were OK with the adequate nature of that, given the remote location of the safari park and the environment. (The accommodation is the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 stars.)

Richard and Allen created and guided us through 2 weeks of unforgettable experiences.
5/5

All of our questions and queries were answered promptly and accurately, and that was before we made our booking. We had lots of questions in the weeks running up to our departure - and nothing was too much for them to bother answering.

We are hugely thankful to Shoebill Safaris for organising and guiding us around an amazing 2 week trip in Uganda. Weeks later we are all still smiling at our memories. Apart from the birding our highlights were the gorillas and leopards - things to remember forever. I remember how delighted we were with the birds we saw in the botanical gardens on our first day - we had no idea what was to come. RIchard can literally charm the birds from the trees. Every day there was something new an wonderful to smile at.

Our accommodation was beautiful - the lodges clean and tidy - all vey different experiences, serving delicious food. 4 of us travelled and no upset tummies.

We will definitely be back. Thank you

Great experience!
5/5

We had a great experience, from sorting things out with Lennox - regarding costs, transportation, schedule, services included – to the actual tour. I joined the three-day safari, and everything was great: pick up and drop out on time, food, and the accommodation at Lechanda camp was really clean and comfortable. Our drive, Joshua, was really knowledgeable and patiently answered all of our questions. We managed to see the big five and much more in just one day! I totally recommend!

Exciting and amazing
5/5

People's choice is indeed the best choice. My East African tour to Uganda and Zamzibar was a great one. Memories will ever remain. The cool weather in Kabale after gorilla trekking in Bwindi and Mgahinga was great. Eco resort also gave us a conducive atmosphere and made my stay enjoyable. Queen Elizabeth national park has good adventures and once there, you can't think of leaving. Three days there were not enough. Our guide Mr Okoth and Andrew our driver were great friends and we got along with them well. Thank you People's choice tours for the well organized trip. I look forward to come again next year.

Experience of a lifetime
5/5

The trip surpassed expectations.
Amazing scenery, horses and staff.
Andrews knowledge and help couldn't have been better. Camp life was so well managed by the girls. But , the stars, are the horses!
I would recommend to any of my horsey friends without hesitation.

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing
5/5

My dad and I had the most amazing and unforgettable safari trip in Tanzania and we owe it to SED Adventures! More specifically to Elifasi who helped us plan our trip and to Anton who started out as just our (wonderful) guide but then ended as so much more! We will never forget this trip or you guys. I promise I'll be back!

Professional and always accessible
5/5

It can be overwhelming when looking for a company to book a safari, but luckily I read many great reviews on Matoke tours and am very happy I used them for my trip to Tanzania. They are always very quick to respond to any inquiries, check in on you during your safari and everyone on the team was very professional and made you feel like more than just a customer. The tour itself was AMAZING, our tour guide Gabriel was very knowledgeable, taught us not only about wildlife but also culture and the way of life in Tanzania. Accommodations were great, but we especially loved Tortilis camp in the Serengeti, the staff there were fantastic. Thank you Matoke for an unforgettable adventure!

My first time in RSA, with 2 of my daugthers. I was expecting a wonderfull trip, with a stay in Kruger Park, at the BUHALA lodge, and it has been amazing !
Eveything was perfect, in time, and i was informed all the time for the details.
A woman was waiting for us at the Tambo Airport, and it was very pleasant.
The rental car was perfect.
Many thanks to all the GILTEDGE team.

Most of local guides were very knowledgeable some were less and when asked Tanya and associates changed the guide.
Hotels choosed and recommendation were very good and in the case of problems that arose during our tour we have been fully supported by Faye and problems have been dealt to our full satisfaction .
The Kruger Safari was incredible.

As my teen sons both said, "the best week and the best experience of their lives"
5/5

I had no idea what to expect, but the Lion King team delivered more than I could have imagined. We had a spreadsheet of 15 options and choice to contact a few that were headquartered in Tanzania and rated by the national tour board. We then compared prices and mid-range options, and went with LKA because they had the best communication and most flexibility. We were a bit nervous sending $ overseas to some unknown group, but when David appeared at the airport to collect us, we were relieved, and then embarked on the trip of a lifetime. The accommodations in Arusha and Karatu were better than we could have imagined. Eileen's Trees Inn in Karatu may be my favorite inn on any trip ever. The hosts were welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Our tour guide, James, contacted ETI in advance to arrange a cake for our 12 yo son's birthday! James - what can I say. He was patient, professional, informative. He knew where to go, how to time our travels, and patiently adjusted our travels to suit our requests. He knew a ton about the animals, the botany, and the Maasai culture. We peppered him with questions and he always had an answer. Plus, he was a fantastic driver, navigating crazy rocky dirt roads and fording streams. Thank you Anna for providing us a perfect itinerary, thank you David for transporting us to and from the airport, and THANK YOU James for fulfilling our trip of a lifetime!
