A very enjoyable trip
4/5

We enjoyed pretty much all our holiday the trip to Selous being very memorable as regards the activities - safaris, river trip and bush walk - AND the people.
The only downsides were:
1. The lukewarm (and, therefore, unhealthy) buffet food at Reef & Beach resort. We chose to pay extra to eat à la carte at Pepino’s for several lunches and dinners.
2. The fact that, having got up very early to fly to Selous, we were whisked away on our first safari without checking into the camp and no chance of a bit of a rest or breakfast! We were shattered by the end if the safari.

Informative, thoughtful, excellent driver, charismatic and social
5/5

This safari hit on all of the must see sights for a safari and each day was maximized for the time we had and was very budget friendly. It may not be as luxurious as a lodge experience, but makes it up for it in the beauty of the campsites and wild animals that graze nearby that allow the safari to continue even once the day is finished. Our operator Luttiba provided loads of info, answered all of our questions and did a fantastic job driving all 4 days.

Excellent service and very experienced guide (Morris)
5/5

We had a fantastic experience with the tour whir Spirit of Kenya. We had 5 days safari in Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli and everything was very well organized.
Our guide Morris was absolutely excellent!! He has a huge experience, very well known by everyone and always on the radio searching for the best spots, animals and locations. He was unstoppable in finding routes and spots to give us the best photos and experience, giving a lot of information about the wildlife and cultures.
He definitely made a difference to the trip.

Perfect tour to Tanzania safari
5/5

It was my first visit to Tanzania, and I was a bit worried since I was going alone. However, after completing my 5-day safari tour with Suricata, I realized my concerns were unfounded. My tour guide, Mandela, was amazing—professional, with excellent driving skills, and the perfect leader for supporting our group. While other company groups were having sandwiches, we enjoyed well-prepared meals. Fortunately, our group saw all the animals we hoped to see, and the tour was so satisfying that it moved me. I hope to return to Suricata Tours with my friends or family in the future. I also hope that all the kind Suricata staff stay safe and take care. I will definitely miss you guys!

Highly recommended tour operator
5/5

I had the trip of my life, thank to Frena Adventures:) Fred, the owner, so patiently organized the tour as per my wish.
My tour guide, Ronnie, is very knowledgable and explained to me everything I needed to know either about the daily programs or about local particularities in Rwanda and Uganda.
I did golden monkey trekking in Rwanda, gorilla trekking in Uganda that was the experience of my life😍 it was also very useful that Ronnie explained me a night before how the trek will look like as on spot not all the information is clear. We did game drives in Queen Elisabeth national park, Ronnie managed to find leopard that luckily even passed by our car...I am still shocked from that experience too as it is quite hard to find leopards...and on top of that we saw lions, elephants, buffalos and monkeys🥰
The boat safari in Kazinga channel was even better than I expected, besides the beautiful scenery we saw many hippos, elephants and buffalos on riverside.
On my 5th day we went to chimoanzee trekking that was the cherry on top of my 5 day tour safari.
The lodges where we stayed were all dreamy, close to nature, some were inside the national parks with amazingly kind staff.
Words cant tell how greatful I am for this trip, a thousand thank you Frena Adventures to make my dream come true🫶🏻❤️

Unforgetable trip to beautiful Kenya
5/5

Our safari-trip with Splendid exceeded all our expectations.

Our guide, James, was not only our guide on this trip but he also became our friend. James is not only extremely knowledgeable but also funny, acommodating and patient. He always went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, adjusted according to our needs, and made sure we got the best spot to see the animals. Because of this, we had the best safari experience and got to see all the animals we hoped to see and many many more.

Another James helped plan the trip, and checked in on us along the way to make sure everything was good. The trip was packed with fun activities, and everything went smoothly. Spendid also has the newest and best cars (Toyota 4x4), which is absolutely worth mentioning.

We went on this trip to celebrate my 30th birthday and had the most amazing trip, which we will remember forever.

The best! Absolutely recommend!

Quality birding tour with knowledgeable and passionate professional birding and wildlife guides
5/5

My husband and I just finished a 15-day private birding tour in Kenya (Western Circuit) with Wide Birding Eco Tour. We had the pleasure of being guided by 2 marvelous bird guides, Davis Kibuga and James Apolloh Omenya. We birded in 8 National Parks/Reserves throughout southwestern Kenya and logged almost 400 bird species in addition to many mammals and reptiles. Our guides not only knew the birds, they also knew the mammals and plants. Apolloh, in particular, not only knew every bird along our routes by name, he also knew all the bird calls and where to find them. Many times we would stop at specific locations, sometimes along a highway, to call for a specific species and the bird would come. It was uncanny! To see our guides consult books and discuss about birds was fascinating. Their passion for birding was apparent and truly contagious.

Our trip was well organized from beginning to end. (Even before the trip, Davis was prompt in answering any question/concern we had so we felt very safe traveling with him.) Though the travel times between the National Parks/Reserves were long and the roads at times bumpy, we were not bored as we stopped along the way to log more species. At some birding sites, we were joined by a local birding guide who showed us the specialties at that site. We felt extra special as there were 3 guides for the two of us. Considered the superb guiding and mostly mid-range accommodations and food, we believe this budget-friendly tour was of very good value.

We were impressed not only by their knowledge and enthusiasm about birds and other wildlife but by the way our guides carried themselves. In addition to his work as a birding and wildlife guide, Davis also supports the children in the communities along the routes he travels as well as in his own community in Uganda. As his guests, we were given the opportunity to bring along used clothes and toys which we would distribute to children along our routes. Davis also uses these opportunities to educate the children about the importance of birds and conservation at these stops. In addition to the birds of Kenya, we have learned a great deal from our guides about the culture and life in East Africa. Thank you, Davis and Apolloh, for a well-planned and rewarding trip. We look forward to returning one day to bird in Uganda and Eastern Kenya with you again.

An exceptional safari experience with Wild Media Safaris!

Everything was flawlessly organized, from the initial planning to the end of the trip. The team was very responsive and tailored the itinerary to our preferences, making sure we saw the best of Tanzania’s wildlife. Incredible Experience
5/5

Very nice experience! We left from September 7 to 12, 2024 as a couple with nights in a tent. Our guide Ilias was great, kind, warm and very experienced in finding the right animal spots! The meals are great with chef Salim, pancake, fresh fruit, omelette in the morning and rice, legs, chicken, vegetables for lunch and dinner. The nights are cool, we recommend taking warm clothes and a good quality sleeping bag because even if provided, yours will surely be cleaner and warmer. We made a dream come true, the animals are magnificent and everything is perfectly organized, and no worries with Suricata Safari.
