Awesome Kenya Safari
5/5

We have been in Kenya for 6 months and have always dreamed of taking our family on a road trips to masai mara, amboseli, nakuru, samburu and tsavo parks, we arranged our trip without borders and I can say it was one of the best trips we have had in the recent years ! every thing was well arrange, accommodations carefully selected as per our preference. we had the opportunity of a lifetime, saw all the Big Five, by the time we had done samburu and masai mara we had actually seen them.
I can say you are a great team with passion for your job.
Next time we think of another trip be assured we will definitely book with you.
Thank you !!!

Dian Fossey grave in Rwanda was inspirational.
5/5

I took a 7-day gorilla trekking trip to Rwanda with gorilla tour booking safaris and part of my itinerary was to visit Dian Fossey's grave. Dian Fossey was an American primatologist who dedicated most of life studying and protecting mountain gorillas. When I saw her grave yard, Instead of grieving I was inspired. I couldn't imagine someone dedicating a great part of her life just studying mountain gorillas. I thank Ronnie a travel consultant at Gorilla Tour Booking Safari ltd for making this tour a life time experience

Cape Vidal Park
4/5

Cape Vidal is an amazing destination. The place is beautiful. The staff at the park were friendly and helpful. The only (Constructive ) criticism that I have, is that log cabin no. 3 is in bad need of repair, we had to be moved to another cabin for the next night, as it leaked like a sieve. The other cabin (no. 10) was in better shape, but the water in the toilet had to be switched on and off at the tap as it ran continuously. In general the state of repair is not good, and a sharper eye is needed in management. Taking all that into consideration, it was still a great place to stay!!

Excellent team to deal with
5/5

From the time of our initial enquiry, through to booking, the joining instructions, the trip itself, they are a very competent & friendly company to deal with. The trip to Murchison Falls matched the very comprehensive itinerary, the accommodation & food at Fort Murchison more than matched our expectations. The guide/driver was absolutely superb and went out of his way to make this a most memorial safari.

Friendly, professional, accommodating and excellent service
5/5

I booked a Mara road package with David and it was the best decision we made. He was extremely competent, professional and friendly. In addition, he and his driver (Andrew) went over and above to accommodate our travel plans - the most relevant example here would be the fact that they organised to take us to the Equator - this was done at no extra cost but at significant compromise on their side.

Andrew is a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide, he is also an extremely conscientious driver. We felt safe at all times and arrived on time at every destination.

We will always book with Vacay Holiday in future and I do not hesitate to recommend them to anyone wishing to have a hassle free vacation in Kenya.

More than expected- an unforgettable experience
5/5

I booked a three day trip to Mikumi, I was picked up promptly at my hotel in Dar Es Salaam. My guide was very accommodating and and an excellent host. This was a trip I wanted to do for years and the wildlife sightings were abundant and fantastic. The rig was ideal for for the safari. Accommodations were great, Made it back to the airport in plenty of time, Office staff was very helpful in helping me plan my trip. Already thinking about my next trip. Highly recommended.

Visit Kenya with the best!
5/5

Lovely Kenya was a wonderful surprise and and exceeded all my expectations!

I travelled to Kenya with a group of friends and everybody agreed Oakland tours staff made it possible for us to have the time of our lives.
Everything went perfectly, from the emails exchange prior to our arrival, to the day we arrived late and sweet Felistus was patiently waiting for us in the hotel and to Safari guides, tought on the outside but soft and caring inside their lovely Kenyan heart, with their endless knowledge about the animals and the nature.
We learnt a lot daily, saw most of the animals and we felt safe throughout our trip, which is one of the most important aspect when one is on holiday and just want to relax and enjoy the moment.
I strongly recommend this company and will definitely travel with them next time I go to Kenya or Tanzania as I am certain I will be in good hands.
The expression Hakuna matata is perfect to describe the holidays when in hands of Oakland tours and the only bumps will be the ones on the safari roads :=) ( still recovering from my kenyan massage ;) )

Great safari in Mikumi
5/5

Everything went as we expected. Our driver Roman picked us up at Dar Es Salam airport (at 4am!) and we drove to Mikumi.

Accommodation was in Mikumi cottage, directly in the park, small bungalows. Nothing luxurious but clean, staff quite welcoming. Water was not hot, but it was - you're in Africa. There was almost no variety in food, always the same sauce with either chicken or beef. This could be definitely improved.

Safari itself was superb. We had an old (600 000+ kms :) ) Toyota Land Cruiser, big and spacious with detachable roof. We saw lions, leopard, buffaloes, elephants, wild beasts, warthdogs, giraffes, hypos,... Roman was a great guide, not very talkative, but once you asked he gave you an answer. :)

At the end we arrived to port just in time to catch a ferry to Zanzibar.
