we have had a marvellous time in Krueger Park
5/5

the Organisation, to start with, was very outstanding. Rochelle was fantastic, she found a way for everything, pick up at the Airport, Lodge in Johannesburg, pickup from there to the park.... and everything worked out very well. Nice People at the whole journey.
The service in Krueger Park was uncomplicated. Clean houses, tents and toilettes, (in the tent it becomes hot). The guides were very nice, eating fine and over all absolutely nothing to complain. We really loved staying there and will come again.
Animals? yes! Great Adventure!

Amazing once in a lifetime experience!
5/5

it was just fantastic! Locations were stunning, staff were all very friendly and helpful, food was delicious and level of service was excellent. I can't really fault anything during our stay!

Kenya Walking Safari is a top notch company. Their communication with us during the planning of our trip was always fast and accurate. They made sure to answer all our questions (and did we have questions...) prior to our trip.
From the moment we land in Kigali, we were in their hands. The rest of the trip we drove around the parks with our guides. The guides' knowledge was impressive!

I would highly recommend them for your trip.

Things you need to know:

- it gets cold in the morning. You start the morning with 3 or 4 layers, a hat and a blanket over your knees, but by 9am you're down to t-shirt. The temperature gradient really is that severe.

First Safari
5/5

We have just completed our first safari at Nottens Bushcamp at Sabi Sabi area which was wonderful. Thank you to Justin Perumal at Paperjet travel for the recommendation and for making all of the arrangements. Justin was very helpful through the whole process and followed up with every detail including the pickup and return to our rental cottage in Mount Sheba. We have no reservation in recommending this travel group for anyone considering a safari in South Africa

Well balanced programme.
5/5

Everything went according to plan and the programme was well balanced. We had originally thought that having the Sunset Cruise on the day we arrived (after a long overnight flight) was a mistake, but we were wrong - it was a good relaxed introduction to the area and kept us going which was a good thing; having the helicopter flight early in the programme was also an excellent idea, again giving us a good overalll picture of the area. And every vehicle turned up on time, and the guides were friendly and professional.
We thoroughly enjoyed the Victoria Fall Hotel, even if they did originally put us in a room at the back - because it had twin beds - without any explanation beforehand, until we objected.
One other minor crictiism of the hotel organisation. There were a number of other people like us who were due to take the Rovos train late in the afternoon; the hotel presumably knew this but had made no attempt to arrange a late check-out. Obviously if there are no rooms available, one has to accept that; but instead of the guest having to hassle Reception to see what could be done, the hotel should beforehand take it upon itself to see what is possible and inform their guests. Otherwise a great hotel!!

Excellent tour operator
5/5

We had an outstanding safari experience with KWSS! Great team, incredible accomodations and a very fair price.
Another benefit is the possibility to customize your safari as you want. Otieno reacts really quickly and tries to satisfy the needs of his clients.
I would definitely recommend KWSS and would be glad to visit other regions with them!

From Berlin to Arusha for the trip of our lifetime. This honeymoon was executed with a level of perfection without making it dull or boring that Ive never seen before. Everyone was cheerful, funny but extremelly professional and elegant. The safari was amazing and the zanzibar hotel was oput of this world. Strongly recommended

For a lifetime
5/5

We started our tour with a wonderful flight from Zanzibar to Kilimanjaro-Airport/Tanzania. Everything was perfectly organized, the driver, the good hotel in Arusha and next morning the 4by4 car with the very professional driver and guide Abraham and his new colleague Tobi, a volunteer. There were so many things to see and to hear, especially the very good explanations of our guides. They knew everything about politics, economy, botanic, animals, natives. And the Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti, Lake Natron. We saw all the animals we wanted to see, we slept in cozy tents and hotels, had good food and very special surprises like a bath in a waterfall in Maasai country.

All in all it was simply perfect. The very best driver. We felt very safe. The very best schedule by the Uhurus. An adventure for a lifetime. We plan now to go back next year and to use the help of Abdallah and his Uhuru-Team again, the firendly Mr. Abraham, Mr. Loy etc.

Thank you very very much!

This was really an adventure and a memorable safari experience.
5/5

The friendliness of the staff is the first impression. While in camp, you are always comfortable and well fed and so rested and prepared for the abundance of bush activities. Two highlights are the evening bush-braai ( a magical and unique experience) and the uplifting morning bush-walks (with the really experienced and knowledgeable guides). Our vehicle tour of Kruger was a huge adventure and the sightings were beyond expectations. What an experience!

The Very Best
5/5

I just returned from a safari trip of a life time. Safari Infinity was outstanding in seeing to our every needs from making arrangements to the time of landing at JRO until departure. Kelly was the best safari guide. He answered all of our questions, was exceptional in his knowledge of wildlife behavior, and went above and beyond to ensure we had the best safari ever.

Uganda!!
5/5

I wanted to travel to Uganda for Gorillas, it was very difficult for me to get a fair budget since I was travelling alone... I contacted Mamalandsafaris and from the first reply I saw positivity as I started getting profession advise on how I could get the trip smoothly done to identify with my interests like cats, primates, gorillas and birding.,
I had several communication with Tony and the turning point was when he offered to find a group to join. Finally I joined 2 others making it still private with the two girls..
My trip was made possible after getting the right budget and someone I was exchanging mails with becoming our Guide... Tony has mastered his country and during our 15 days, instead of a safari it was a journey with the most wonderful experience. Tony connects well with the people we met in restaurants, lodges, rangers and in local villages he bonded us to homes and families! The safari was booked mainly for big mammal and Gorillas but we got more than what we paid for, a real nature lover and a fantastic birding guide with deep knowledge in the ecology, sounds, habitats of the birds in Uganda! every break we had he opened our eyes to the surrounding. The accommodation was a mix with hot shower, good location more than our expectations. He is very flexible helping to plan the day with the most of possibilities.. He is a joker, fun all the time. At the end of the trip he helped me visit the Nyirangongo crater in Congo. I would recommend Mamalandsafaris to anyone planning a visit..
