Efficient, friendly, reliable service tailored to our requirements and our budget.

Ahmed Khan, the manager responds almost by return to communication, he will research different options to suit the clients needs. I have used his company for school bookings for students visiting Africa for the first time and for adults who like myself are experienced travellers in Africa. His staff are experienced, friendly and speak good English. If anything goes wrong e.g. Vehicle breakdown, it is sorted out quickly with minimum disruption to the trip.

You feel very well, nice people, very safe and amazed of such wild animal richness and beauty of Okavango Delta, Moremi, Savuti and Chobe. Tourism is quite well under control, so no crowded places which could make this experience more dangerous and less natural. I returned with 3000 photos of great memories of this nice and peaceful country. I hope disputes with bushmen could be resolved nicely for both sides. There are an old tribe and they have the right to live peacefully in its country. Such things also have a very positive side for respectful tourism which could be nicely used to benefit such community. I appreciate hunting has been finally banned in order to keep safe such great natural richness, which should not be for thirsty killers and 'macho men' feeling superior to others because of a huge prey. Nice country I hope to visit again soon.

Excellent with Wildness Safari
5/5

We are a family from Sweden who visited Tanzania and Mikumi National Park with Wildness Safari Ltd. The tour operator is very easy and nice to communicate with. Fast and accurate answers when e-mailing. Very good service when booking the safari tour and the accommodation. Excellent guiding during gaming in Mikumi National Park. We were very well taken care of and our guide was really nice, competent and attentive and we experienced many "once-in-a-lifetime"-moments. Superb! Really enjoyed our visit in Tanzania.

Easy, Fun, Friendly and Well-Priced
5/5

East Africa Wild Adventures was a pleasure to work with, and truly took care of our every need. We would have had no idea where to start when booking this vacation ourselves, but the combination of a knowledgeable agent in Canada, and amazing operators and guides in Africa made this vacation a smooth and unforgettable one. From the moment that we arrived in Killiminjaro Airport, to the moment we departed in Arusha, we was taken care of by our guide (and whisked around Tanzania without problem or delay). The hotels we stayed in were great, and they were even able to get us some upgrades! Also, and perhaps most importantly, our guide found us EVERY species of wildlife that we hoped to see (the Big 5), including Rhinos and a Leopard dragging its prey up a tree.

The prices were very fair as well - and we DID shop around. I highly recommend Alym and his partners, and will definitely use them again when I go to Africa next.

Best vacation ever! Highly recommend East Africa Wild Adventures.
5/5

I recently returned on a trip from Tanzania that was planned by Alym from East Africa Wild Adventures and it was one of the best and smoothest trips that I have had. From the very beginning of the planning process, I was impressed by the thoughtfulness that Alym put into planning our trip. We had corresponded via email and telephone multiple times. He gave me multitude of quotes for the different trip options that I was looking for. He made sure that the trip was planned entirely based on my specifications and within my price range. Also having grown up in Tanzania and visited these sites and hotels, he was able to provide personalized recommendations. I spent a month in Africa prior to the safari and everyone that I had spoken to said that I had gotten a great deal on the trip which included all meals, my airfare to Zanzibar, 4-5 star hotels and personal car with a awesome driver for our safari. All the accommodations were top notch including a few days in a luxury tent facility with Serena Hotel which was a great experience. He called us on the first day of our arrival to make sure that everything was arranged. He even went as for as to introduce us to his friends in Arusha who offered to show us the city because we would be spending some time there before the safari started. Overall I was very impressed by his professionalism, his enthusiasm for planning our trip and introducing us to Tanzania and his patience in handling all of my many requests. I highly recommend him and would definitely plan another trip with East Africa Wild Adventures when I return to Africa!

We had no idea what we would expect ! Shamwaris concept is brilliant, because it has something for every taste: Down to earth and very authentic up to modern and luxurious. What we liked most was the small guesthouses where Host and hostess were like family members and everyone sat together for joint meals, listening to the bush adventures our host contributed. The meals where very good and authentic, cooked by local staff under the guidance of our hostess - very very tasty. The rooms where very spacious with excellent equipment and bathrooms of international high standard.
The scenery is breathtaking and our guide - which was our host - was an absolute expert and showed us exceptional things, explained in detail, answered all questions and fulfilled all wishes of what animals to be watched. We spent three days and nights and would have loved to stay on, but were exhausted from all the impressions we gathered. Three days is a perfect duration for a stay, anything else is too short. We have made very many international trips of all kinds - but this was and still is the best ever - and one we will certainly repeat !

the ultimate Africa experience

Mashatu was recommended by friends who visited the reserve. They saw lot's of game but I was very interested in the leopards as I never had a good sighting of this shy animal. So we booked 2 nights in the tented camp. We had to drive 5 hours to reach the border on the Limopo river. We were 1 hour early (meeting point at Pont Drift was 1 pm) but a Mashatu-representative was already there to help us thru customs. The car stayed in South Africa. We crossed the Limpopo river in a cableway. The drive to the camp was already a gamedrive. Big herd of impala on the road and a cori bustard walking around. On arrival it seemed we were the only guests at this moment. The tent was perfect : a good bed and furniture. Toilet and shower were outside. There was no lunch on the day of arrival but no problem. We ate a light lunch in Alldays. At 4 pm we were ready for our first gamedrive. It was very hot and the car was open. So a hat was not a luxury. We drove quitte a while to see the first wildlife. The leopard I wanted to see was laying along a small river. Our guide drove towards it and I was afraid he'd scare it away. But it was very relaxed and we spend about 30 minutes there watching this beautiful animal. It walked even passed our car about 2 meter from us. We had 3 more leopard encounters later on. We also saw the wild dogs. They were very curious and came to our car to investigate us. About 8 pm we arrived back at the camp where dinner was served in the boma. The next morning we were woken very early for our morning gamedrive. Coffee, tea & biscuits were served before we hit the (dirt)road. Very special was the herd of elephants - all mothers with there babies. Our guide put the car on a strategic position and the whole herd walked passed us. Very impressive. Every gamedrive had something special. Like the cheetah with 5 cubs. On the last one we saw spotted hyena eating wildebeest. Lot's of vultures were waiting for the leftovers. The only animal we did not see was lion. They crossed the border of Mashatu. All gamedrives have a ranger/driver and a tracker in the back. In between the gamedrives you can relax, take a swim or sit in the hide to see more game. I must say it was a bit noisy there as you could hear the staff talking to eachother. But I saw a lot of kudu, impala and warthog there. Birds too.
Mashatu is a beautifull reserve but not cheap. One even has to pay for the drinks during the gamedrives. But if you want to see game ? Go there. It was a great experience.
