Beautiful Country with Kind People
I had a wonderful two weeks in Kenya in July 2023. I traveled with my partner and four of our friends. We visited Diani Beach, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, and Maasai Mara. The people in Kenya are so hospitable and friendly. We experienced beautiful weather in the mid 70s on safari and low 80s at the beach. We had an amazing tour operator, Flash MCTours. Our driver was very knowledgeable and took great care of us. The tour company owner, Peter, was always available for any questions that we had. We saw such amazing animals. We were lucky to see the big five, we watched a monkey being born, the wildebeest migrating, and saw many babies as well as adult animals. We really enjoyed our boat ride to Crescent Island on Lake Naivasha. Being up close and personal walking with giraffes, zebra, wildebeest, gazelles, etc. was beautiful. Diani Beach was gorgeous. The sand is so white and soft and the water was warm, and so blue. I cannot wait to go back to Kenya.
We also enjoyed several days in Nairobi. The shopping, restaurants, and culture was fantastic.

A not-to-be-misses destination
The Okavango Delta was just one stop on a month long visit to Africa but it was the richest in terms of game viewing and overall safari experience. We encounter the rarely seen pangolin, lions galore (a pair on their "honeymoon"), amusing (and sometimes annoying) vervet monkeys, elephants, zebra, herds of antelope, and amazing birds; the iconic lilac-breasted roller among many others. It was July so bundling up for the early morning game drives was a must....by about 10 it warmed up enough to shed a few layers and enjoy the sun. Our camp was operated by Wilderness Safaris - the food was wonderful, the staff simply the best, and our guides shared not only their knowledge of the area but their love of the land as well. The sweet scent of what our guide called "savannah basil" filled the air as we traveled through the delta - an experience I will long remember.

Unforgettable
We had booked a safari from 16 days to South Tanzania with Matoke Tours from the Netherlands. We have been there from January 21 to February 4, 2015.
In Dar es Salaam airport, we were spontaneously met by Emanuel, a driver / guide of Easy Travel. Communication was very good. With the jeep you do many miles and you can tell so much. The knowledge of Emanuel about the country of Tanzania, the animals and birds is enormous. During the safari he gave information about the birds, which he knows by name. How quickly he is able to spot animals is phenomenal. What we enjoyed this trip. We have seen lions eating a wildebeest. After the stomach was full, three little ones were called by the mother. The hunting of 16 wild dogs in convoy on a prey was beautiful to see. Emanuel saw a sleeping elephant under a tree. He also saw a couple in love lions on 100 meters, which made for posterity.
The many groups of elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, baboons, wildebeest, zebras and other animals and birds we will never forget. Thanks to the flair of Emanuel. Our heartfelt thanks.

The world of wild animals
While in Tanzania, be sure to go to Arusha, from here you can plan 5; 4 or 3 days safari to the Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire and Manyara National Parks. The Kilimanjaro expedition also starts in Arusha. The safari is very safe, the guides speak different languages, they know a lot about the habits of wild animals.
You can also dive in Tanzania. There are some interesting diving spots around Zanzibar, although kitesurfing is more popular. I recommend diving around Paje, Mnemba and Kizimkazi.
All of the Animals and More
We spent four nights with Bush Drifters, and had the opportunity to see all of the big cats (cheetah, lion, leopard), elephants, hippos, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, THREE rhinos, many types of antelope and gazelle, monkeys, and tons more. The guide was extremely knowledgeable about the numerous species we saw, including the birds.
A fantastic experience that exceeded my expectations.
The trip was fantastic from our initial email dialogue to the moment I was dropped off. Communication was exceptional. The service was flawless. The education and sights were world class. I would recommend Seven By Far to anyone visiting Kenya.

A very well organised tour which provided an abundance of new experiences for the senses.
We all know what turns a holiday into a forgettable experience, but on this occassion not a single one of those usual dramas occurred. The simple things were done to perfection.....our luggage turned up, the tour guides were at the airport to transport us to this new land, the accommodation was brilliant - from stunning ocean views in Camps bay, to a porch off our ensuited tent in the Okovango Delta, elephants saundering past our tent in the middle of the night, camp kitchens providing 5 star meals, lions rubbing against out truck while travelling in the Ngorongoro crater, and for a change of pace high tea at the Mount Nelson Hotel.........so many places, such a marvelous time........this traveller will return

The professional and personal service that was given to us by Macho Halisi (office staff and driver guide) was more than we expected and made our Safari a once in a lifetime experience. The car was comfortable and in good condition. We enjoyed the trip tremendously and hope to be back one day.
