Botswana round trip incl Okavango Delta

Impala Tours did an excellent job, perfect organisation, communication and service,
we booked for the 5th or 6th time, I stopped counting it because there is no other firm, which can do it better.

Thanks a lot and see you back next time in southern Africa.

Great guidance during our short trip in South-East Uganda

Our stay in the area of Queen Elisabeth park (Ishasha area and north part of the park) was a great experience. It was a pleasure to enjoy some relaxing times, with the professional guidance of Pearl Africa Tours & Travel. The lodges were great, the drivers humorful, always in time and very helpful, the planning fully fitted our wishes... We had a great time!

Great travel operator that really puts the customer 1st!

We initially contacted Giltedge Africe (Southern Africa travel) by email & was very impressed that Monique Dean, our allocated tour adviser, was back in touch with us within 24hours of initial enquiry. As we were travelling from England we mainly contacted Monique via email as this was easier. However Monique did set up one telephone call where we were able to briefly outline our interests for the trip & budget. Following this call it wasn't long before Monique came back to us with an initial itinerary which fulfilled the brief exactly so we booked up! Right up to departure Monique stayed in touch & answered any last minute questions that we had, this support was also offered for the duration of the trip should it also be required.

The trip itself was amazing! We did a 3 stop tour (Cape Town, Garden Route & Shamwari Game Reserve) all accommodation that we stayed at was fabulous and exceeded our expectations! All in all a fantastic trip of a lifetime helped by the knowledge & the excellent service provided by Giltedge Africa! Would highly recommend!

When we were there, the flies were worse than anywhere else on the Safari. We have lots of bugs back home in Canada, but because we had not experienced this before, it threw us off a bit. Otherwise, it was a beautiful place to see wildlife, especially the elephants.

The Crater is one of the most picturesque, enchanting sites that we have ever encountered.

Our first view of this area was absolutely breath-taking. The whole Ngorongoro Conservation Area is lush and green, but when we 1st saw the Crater, we could not believe how beautiful it was. A few days later, we worked our way down the embankment, & experienced a diverse range of wildlife, fauna and geography. We were also lucky enough to see a wildebeest give birth to a calf. The lodge just outside the Crater was also delightful. My wife and I are extremely glad we saw this site and highly recommend it to anyone else thinking about a safari.

My father, husband and I traveled to Chobe National Park in April 2015. It was our first trip to Africa, and we stayed three nights at Muchenje Safari Lodge. It truly was an amazing experience. I couldn't have imagined the wildlife we would see or how close we would get to elephant and buffalo herds, lions, giraffes, zebras, hippos, crocodiles, lizards, baboons, monkeys, warthogs and antelopes. I also have never seen so many beautiful, colorful birds including the southern carmine bee-eater, lilac-breasted roller and wire-tailed swallow. While we were there we went on early morning, full day and sunset game drives as well as a river cruise. Our guide, Synack, was very knowledgable and respectful of the animals and the park. April was the perfect time to travel. There weren't that many people, and we couldn't have asked for better weather. There only was one brief rain shower while we were there, and when it was over the sun came out and we saw a full rainbow. Chobe National Park is a place that touches your soul. I wouldn't hesitate to come back.

The crater Ngonrongoro is one of those places on Earth that once in your life you must see. It seems to be almost a paradise for animals. In the same pool of water you can see a few meters away hyenass, warthogs, buffalos, elephantss, craness, wildebeests, gazelless, impala and more. Everything in this place is perfect including lodges.

This park is great for its exclusivity. We would drive the whole day, without seeing nobody else. Animals are a bit more difficult to spot than in Selous Game Reserve and landscape is in general less beautiful, but we would stay there again if we'd repeat this trip, because the feeling of littleness in this enormous savanna is unique.
We've stayed in Jongomero Camp and once again, the experience was unbelievable. So exclusive, so calm.
At the en we knew that we couldn't have chosen better honeymoon destination.

We chose Tanzania as the destination of our honeymoon. My wife was quite reluctant with the choice, but she forgot every fear as soon as we got there.
Sells Game Reserve is a great destination for those that want to run from the crowds, usually seen in the north of Tanzania and south of Kenya. In this areas, the landscape seems a lot more spectacular, ant that's why I just give 4 stars to the Selous Game Reserve. But I can swear that the landscape in Selous, is just awesome.
The best thing in Selous Game Reserve is the exclusive feeling of the experience as you see very little people while still being able to finde a big diversity of fauna and flora.
We stayed in Siwandu and we can just say good things about it. Friendly people with a nice service and an awesome cuisine. The tents are very luxurious and it is awesome to wake up and watch the wildlife just at your door.
