Best four days ever
5/5

Everything was just perfect. We had no problem at all. We have met lovely people. Our guide Joseph was nice men. We would not see that much in the bush without him. My boyfriend and I paid for 4 days in Masai Mara Park, but after two days decided to move to lake Nakuru. Joseph had no problem with that, did not even wanted more money and we slept in clean and warm hotel instead of camping and got this chance to see rhinos, we did not see in Masai Mara. I would definitely recommend this agancy. Thanks for everything guys, we've had amazing time.

Guide (Christoph) went above and beyond, flawless organisation
5/5

Everything was top-notch. The communication in the lead-up was absolutely friendly and thorough, Ingrid made sure we not only had everything we needed (info, confirmations, insurance etc.) but also excited us for the trip.
Throughout the tour the organisation was flawless (pick-up, time schedule, hotels).
And our guide(s) for the several days were very friendly, considerate and worked their a*** off to go above and beyond (driving, guiding, cooking, planning, and even entertaining along the way)
I can whole-heartedly recommend Chameleon Safaris!

Professional service and Warm Tanzanian Hospitality at unbeatable prices!
5/5

I booked a 7-day tour to Mikumi, Udzungwa and Ruaha for myself and 5 friends with Chabo. A tight schedule in the difficult rainy season. The trip went off without the tiniest hitch, all arrangements worked perfectly and with great flexibility. Game viewing was awesome, no small feat with the grass so high this time of year. Our guide Modest grew up and lives here - every one knows him and he is on his home ground; we were welcomed and well cared for all along the way. I am an experienced guide and tour leader myself (in other parts of the world) and know top quality when I see it. I fully reccomend Modest and his company , they are totally reliable and will not disappoint you.

What a wildlife experience!

To be honest, I've never been on a safari before but it was pretty much as I dreamed of it: we've seen everything, starting the day with a leopard, going on with lions, elephants, hippos, giraffes and lots of antilopes, it was very impressive.

About: Udzungwa Mountains National Park
fun fun fun
Overall rating
5/5

We made the easy walk up to the base of the stunning 170 m. high Sanje waterfall. The forest was beautiful, walk not too difficult and swimming under the waterfall a taste of heaven. On the way back in the afternoon we saw masses of the endemic (and very pretty) Udzungwa Red Colobus Monkeys as well as some Black and White Colobus and a possible quick glimpse of the more elusive Sanje Crested Mangaby (also an endemic species). A wonderful walk with a very charming and competent guide provided by the park HQ. Well worth the visit, if your up for a bit of a walk, its great to move after being cooped up in a land cruiser on game drives all the time.
