Review about Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park by awatkinson69
Never have I seen so many lion, leopard or cheetah than on my trip here. The wildlife was dramatically different to other Parks I'd visited - so a welcome change. But the roads are hellish - so take a 4x4.

Gorgeous
Meijo Safari was phenomenal!! They were very good with communication through the entire planning process, and created a safari itinerary that was personalized to us. They took care of all accommodations, transportation, and food. And the food was super GOOD! 😋
We did a five day safari that ended in a day trip hike in Kilimanjaro. Our guide for the safari, Herman was out of this world good! He was able to spot animals that we would’ve driven right past without his skilled vision. His driving was incredible also! There were multiple instances we saw other safari jeeps get stuck in the mud on roads Herman had just gotten us through. He was also extremely patient with us getting just the right picture, stopping to view the animals as long as we wanted to, and he was able to predict what direction the animals would head in so we could get as close as possible. There were multiple times we were able to get right next to animals, without any other jeeps in sight!
The accommodations were also wonderful with Meijo Safaris. The best by far was the Matawi Tented Camp! It was so luxurious and the staff spoiled us! They waited on us hand and foot. Eileen’s Trees Inn was also very nice in a gorgeous serene setting. And the Rhino Lodge was good also, definitely the least luxurious of the Safari stays, but I think we just got super spoiled by staying at the Matawi Tented Camp first lol. 😜
I definitely recommend booking through Meijo Safaris, they made everything so easy and enjoyable!! And be sure to book the hot air balloon ride too, it was such an incredible experience!

Our 3 Day Kruger Lodge Tree house Experience
We had a successful and interesting 3 day/ 2 night safari in a Kruger private reserve. We stayed one night in a comfortable chalet and one night in a rustic tree house. This was a good choice as we got to experience both. The tree house gives you that closer to nature feeling and our elevated view of the river was a plus. The staff members were very helpful and the guides were superb. During our open vehicle game drives we had some excellent photo opportunities and saw 3 of the Big 5 but many other animals as well. Even around the lodge there were some wild animals. Due to the dry conditions there were more animals seeking water holes and that made for even better game viewing. Safari With Us arranged everything very well and our transfers and related arrangements went smoothly. It was a worthwhile and interesting experience and we can positively recommend a Kruger lodge tree house safari. “

Best Masai Mara Trip
We really enjoyed our Masai mara trip with Tom. He is very knowledgeable and experienced with the park. We agree that our masai mara trip was too brief (2days,1night)but he put an lot into the time we had and on day 2 he took us upto the masai mara river, other operators we contacted dint propose that on there programs due to lack of time but Robert and Tom fixed that, we will enjoy the memories and pictures. Thanks for putting this tour together for us.

Customized 4-person safari to Kenya and Tanzania's serengeti plains during calving season
The communications were excellent before, during and after. The trip more than met our expectations with wildlife views and experiences, sleeping lodges, food, guides and educational depth of what we were experiencing. Kosen also added opportunities to bring solar lights to villages and scholarships to girls and boys all of which was topped by meeting the recipients and seeing the grantees. A fantastic, almost magical experience.

Exceptional 5-Star Safari Experience in South Africa
My recent safari in South Africa was an absolute gem, earning a well-deserved 5-star rating. The guide was nothing short of amazing, offering insightful knowledge that added depth to every wildlife encounter.
Accommodations were top-notch — clean, luxurious, and perfectly situated in the heart of the wilderness. The sunset game drives were magical, painting the sky with vibrant hues, and the diverse landscapes provided a stunning backdrop for unforgettable wildlife sightings.

Kruger National Park - still the jewel in the SanParks crown
I've been visiting the Kruger National Park for over thirty years now. In that time, there have been huge changes within the Park and although, in my opinion, the modern-day Kruger has it's problems, it is still the National Park to be beaten.
There are many reasons the Park keeps luring me back; not least for its wildlife. In terms of variety and volume of game, Kruger wins hands down for me. Even in these dark times of poaching, large herds of buffalo and elephant are pretty much an everyday occurrence in Kruger. And I've never once been to the Park and not seen cats - either lion, leopard or cheetah (and on the odd trip, all three in just a few short days). Although not a keen birder myself, the birdlife is incredible and certainly helps to keep things ticking along on hot days when you've seen nothing but an impala or two for hours on end.
But it's the Park itself that's the biggest draw. The network and variety of roads means no two days need ever be the same. And with some breathtaking new picnic sites and lookout points, it's possible to just sit and watch the wildlife world go by while you enjoy your breakfast. The scenery is also hard to beat. Do yourself a favour and take time to travel from the top of the Park to the bottom. It's an unforgettable experience and one in which you truly get to appreciate the Park's diverse and ever-changing scenery.
However, the Parks popularity is also it's downfall. For me, at times there are too simply many visitors in the Park. Lion sightings in particular resemble rugby scrums - with networks of cars blocking the cats into corners. It's very very sad. It isn't the resident visitors that cause the overcrowding - but the number of day visitors who are also allowed in. At peak times of the year, if you're unfortunate to be in a camp anywhere near a main gate, forget about having a slow peaceful drive to look for game. It's like a freeway in rush hour.
But the worst culprits are the safaris concessions - the guys that drive visitors into the Park for a few short hours and tear around in radio contact from one sighting to the next. They drive too fast and too close to the game - scaring sightings off and disturbing the wildlife in general. They are a law unto themselves, intent on showing their guests the best possible sightings to snare a bigger tip. Look I get it - everyone wants to see the magnificent wildlife - but there has to be some sort of common sense and courtesy.
That said, a trip to South Africa would be unthinkable without a trip to the Kruger. The pros far outweigh the cons and the spirit and ambience of the bush is simply magical. Being able to drive yourself through the majestic Park and mix with it's wild inhabitants is one of the greatest privileges on earth.
If you get the chance to go - do. The memories will stay with you forever.

Our Honeymoon in Kenya
We used Karibu safaris in kenya for our honeymoon trip to kenya. we travelled for
our first time in africa. They arranged us the best accomodations and safari
according to my budget and my requests. we sent to Robert and victor lot of emails
asking for activities and options available and their replies were so quick and
clear. They booked us masai mara tour, lake nakuru tour, Amboseli tour and tsavo
east tour and they helped me in solving some problem we had at the beach resort
which we had booked online ourselves . we recommend this tour operator.
