Excellent 4 days safari to the top NP of Tanzania.
5/5

It was a last minute booking, I found them in Kitundu budget guesthouse. The safari was excellent, the price correct, the driver - guide gave us a very good commentary and was always available to care for us. The cook also nice. We were at 4 days safari Tarangire (lodge in Mbo wa Mbu), Serengeti (camping 1 night), and Ngorogoro (another night in camping). Recommended.

Dear Thinus ,

Thanks a lot for the great time we shared together during our recent trip in Namibia.
We were extremely impressed by learning that you and your family are part of the history of this lovely country and this puts you in a position to explain better than anyone else the evolution of the last decades. You are better than any “travelguide” since you can explain things you really experienced yourself and therefore listening to your stories give a real image of the history which is very important to know backgrounds and present situation of a country.
Because of your background you also know the most lovely and interesting places to visit and each time you came up with a nice surprise.

We booked a 19 days roundtrip arriving from Cape town and starting in Windhoek. After a short “recuperation” we started our trip exploring the Kalahari desert . After that we went to Fish river canyon (amazing views) and Luderitz ( a must visit here is Kolmankop , a town conquered by the sand).
More sand in the Namib desert but special experience when going to Sossusvlei and the huge dunes .
Quite an experience for belgian people, knowing that the sand dunes in Belgium are only +/- 30 meter high !
Next stop : Swakopmund , a lovely town . Must do here: Marine Dune Day starting from Walvisbay (Marine Cruise + 4X4 dune excusrsion) .
Damaraland ( Twyfelfontein ) : Thinus explained the complete history of past and present of this region– most interesting . Thank you once again Thinus for organising the champagne , cake and live performance for Gino's birthday which we celebrated at the Twyfelfontein lodge!
Etosha National Park : Amazing the variety of wildlife and how close you can get. Try to stay in the park instead of looking for a lodge outside the park. Much more to see/experience because of the waterholes.
Erindi Private Game reserve : A MUST !!!!!!! Great lodge , food and game drive !
We ended this fantastic tour with a nice dinner and drink at Joe’s beerhouse , a very interesting and cosy please ,
a must visit when in Windhoek !!!
19 days seem an eternity but when you are having a good time – and good company – time flies. We have seen a great part of this lovely country but there is still a lot to discover. We rely on Thinus to prepare a next vist for next year.

Warm regards also to our friend Barney !!!

Prompt, Flexible, and Trustworthy
5/5

This was my second experience with Safari 2 Gorilla Tours. As with the first, Aron was an incredibly prompt and clear communicator, going above and beyond in answering questions, which was greatly appreciated, and extremely friendly and welcoming throughout the process. He makes every step clear, and set us up for a truly unforgettable experience in Mgahinga tracking a family of gorillas, being flexible with our travel constraints throughout the organizing. On this trip, my only hesitation was the per person cost for full board at the Gorilla Trek Camp, a perfectly fine accommodation, but based on our experience just a bit pricey compared to options of the same quality in other parts of the country. As a whole, I do not hesitate to recommend this company for organizing your own excursions in southwest Uganda!

Katrina provieded us with the Safari experience of a lifetime! Answered our many questions.
5/5

The Safari at Lukimbi was spectacular from start to finish. We had JEFFREY who provided us transport from airport to Lukimbi, the lodge was great and our rooms - so very nice, great food and our Safari guides - Malcolm and Golden were exceptionally good - we saw the big 5 more than once, and they provided rain/window ponchos , blankets, coffee & water. We were within 15 feet of elephants, lions, giraffes - etc.

I will always remember this wonderful Holiday !

One month small group safari tour to Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.
5/5

The communication and service provided by Rob and staff at Wild Africa Travel Company were beyond expectations. The on ground safari tour operators in Kenya and Tanzania were highly skilled, good natured and good fun making our trip memorable. On the Uganda leg the driver was well organised which meant our gorilla and chimpanzee experiences were fantastic.

Amazing safari
5/5

We visited Kenya last September and the whole experience was great. Definitely "Wildebeest Safari" is the best option for you to book your trip, a few reasons are:

- Clear and quick responses to all our questions (via email, WhatsApp and phone - basically 24/7 availability)
- Flexibility. Even though they give very good options (schedules, hotels, locations, etc.), they will adjust to your needs without any complaint.
- Excellent customer service. We were treated extremely well by them, during the planning ´process (by Noah) and while we were there (our guides).
- Knowledgeable and polite guides. We were fortunate to have Andrew and Frank as our guides. Both were great! They know where to go, how to get close to the animals without disrupting them and they are very friendly and patient. Good photographers as well.

Our recommendation for you is to go on a private safari. It is more expensive, but we truly found it worth it.

This place is well knowned from the local population who wants to go to the waterfall but it have really more to give. You can see 2 endemic species of monkeys and some endemic birds too to the forest is deep and birds not easy to spot. You better get a good naturalist guide and spend some time there is you really want to enjoy this place and go o remote places.

This game reserve is very original thanks to the mighty river Rufiji. You also can see some coastal birds. The lodge was excellent and boat trip memorable. Don't miss the tour in the forest with a real bushman : amazing!

If you want to feel what wild Africa is, here's the place! You will see a lot of wildlife and a few humans. But be aware that it is not an easy park, besause you don't get tips as in other places to find animals, you have to find them by your own. It is then the most rewarding when you are face to face with a leopard!
