Extraordinary Journeys is the best!
5/5

Extraordinary Journeys is the best! Planning a trip to Africa can be a daunting experience if you try to do it on your own. There are so many options and price points to decide on and enlisting EJ to plan all the details is the best decision I made when planning my trip. They got to know me, my interests, my budget and put together the most amazing trip that was completely customized for me. No trip detail was overlooked. Pre-trip I received advice of what to bring and a detailed itinerary. While traveling, at every transition point someone was waiting for me and I was warmly welcomed at the lodges. I had no travel “hic-ups” but if I did I had an emergency EJ contact just in case. I can’t wait to go back and explore more of Africa and EJ will definitely be planning my next trip.

Great six day safari to Samburu, Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru
5/5

I rarely write reviews but BigTime Safaris gave me an excellent trip and there aren't a lot of reviews for safaris, so I thought it would help people by seeing a review. I did a six day safari to Samburu, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara. Martha was extremely responsive to all my questions and always replied back to my emails within day. She scheduled my pickup to and from the airport also. Martha was phenominal. Rarely have I had someone be so responsive and helpful. Animal (or Animo) was my guide and driver and was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable about the animals we saw and had a great personality. Big Time Safaris was priced well. Lucky for me, no one signed up for the Samburu portion of my trip, so it was just the guide and myself. The fourth day we picked up a second tourist for the Masai Mara portion of the tour. Even though I went in April and in the rainy season, it only rained two days. One day it rained 20 minutes, the other day it rained for 1.5 hours. So even if you can only go in April, still go as the weather was gorgeous and I had no issues. Also, Samburu was better than the Masai Mara in my opinion. There was a higher density of animals and the landscape was a bit more hilly/picturesque. Lake Nakuru was nice to see rhinos and rock hyrax.

Thank you for a wonderful trip
5/5

“ Very well organized – all connections went smoothly. Very knowledgeable guides. I have been in safari previously but the services i received on my last 8 day tour with African Paradise Safaris was excellent. The driver worked very hard to ensure our safety as well as our viewing pleasure and ensured we were comfortable at all times. I will definitely be coming again & definitely book my safari with African Paradise. Thank you for a most amazing trip.

5/5

iThis was my second experience of Murchison Falls National Park with Pearl Afric Tours & Travel and once again it was 3 days to remember!
We were picked up promptly from our accommodation and from that point to the moment that we returned I only have positive words to say about Pearl Afric and the adventure. Our driver Paul was excellent in every aspect. The rhino reserve was an absolutely unbelievable experience. Murchison Falls National Park is stunning in every aspect. Accommodation was excellent. Murchison Falls itself is beautiful.
This trip with Pearl Afric is highly recommended!!!

Amaizing safari experience
5/5

We were two spanish friends and we went on safari with this company on April. We took 3 nights/4 days safari to Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti. The experience was really nice, we could see the big 5, and that is even better when you go with no expectation (nature is not predictable).

The driver/guide, Sigi, was such a good one! He knew a lot about the animals, he had lot of knowledge about all the locations, he could see the animals from really far away and in some ocassion we reached to the animals the firts, so we could have good place to see them and take pictures. He was so commited with his job, so he asked to the rangers about where to find the leopard... and we did! He give us all the time we wanted to be stoped looking at the animals, he was so fexible with us, so we could decide all the time all what we wanted about our safari experience. Really profesional guide.
The cooker, Buga, was also a nice guy. He cooked good food, always on time.
We had a great experience with this company so, of course, we would recommend it!

Observed More Wildlife Behavior with Caracal Tours and Safaris.
5/5

I have been on 5 wildlife safaris in East Africa. Bernard Sumari of Caracal Tours was the best wildlife guide of all. We observed mating, birth, hunting, sparing, joy, family, and death in many animal species. It was because Bernard placed us in the midst of animals, turned off the engine, and let nature unfold. While other vehicles came and went in a hurry, we watched a pack of lions go after wildebeests and zebras across the river causing a wave of movement in hundreds of animals at once. We sat and watched every African cat. We watched families of elephants play together at mud holes or rip down large trees with their trunks. We watched baby gazelles being born and the flamboyant dance of ostriches as they courted and mated. Males giraffes circled around each other for hours slapping their long necks against each other as they sparred. It is wondeful to see these magnificent animals but it is a gift to spend unhurried hours watching them interact with each other. Bernard's knowledge of wildlife behavior gave us this opportunity. No other safari compared well to Caracal for us.
