Holiday of a lifetime executed perfectly!
5/5

Myself and my girlfriend decided we wanted to go to Kenya on Safari so began the task of assessing companies and itineraries.
From the off Dan was incredibly attentive to our requirements. We found other companies to be very short with minimal time for our changing ideas. Dan on the other hand went above and beyond to help us organise our safari adventure and was happy to guide/assist us on our (embarrassingly) constant mind changing with regards to what we wanted to do.
It became clear very quickly that Transtrek were the company we wanted to use.
Everything was organised specifically how we wanted it to be. The amount of days in certain places, activities etc.
I had high expectations of the holiday before I left and they were blown out of the water............ It was literally 3 flawless weeks of pure beauty and enjoyment! Everything came together perfectly without a single mishap.
Each and every lodge/camp we stayed at was breathtaking. The surrounding nature was mind blowing, the hospitality and friendliness of every member of staff a true pleasure to behold.
We went to Amboseli, Tsavo west/east, Lake Nakuru/Navaisha & Masai mara. Each area with its own landscapes, identity and plethora of wildlife.
I went on this holiday thinking it was a once in a lifetime adventure but I know for certain I will go back and do it all again at some point as it was the best holiday I've ever had.
Special thanks to Tony our guide who was easy going, kind hearted, understanding, organised, more knowledgeable than an encyclopedia on location and wildlife, and just a lovely jack the lad to be around... he very quickly became a massive part of the enjoyment of our holiday.
To sum up....Holiday 10/10, Transtrek/Dan 10/10, Tony our guide 10/10, lodges/camps 10/10, wildlife 10/10.
Thank you Transtrek for giving us the experience we had. It will never ever be forgotten!!

Awesome six-day, three-park safari tour
5/5

I can definitely recommend Seven by Far. They were prompt in getting back to us via e-mail, everything was well organized, and our guide, Dansen (sp?), was very kind, solicitous and informative. We went to Masai Mara for a couple days, then Lake Nakuru for an afternoon, then a couple days at Amboseli. All the lodges were quite nice, with good food, swimming pools and decent accomodations. One suggestion: I would advise against taking the tour of the Masai village at Amboseli. Seven by Far paid for it, so I can't complain about the price, but at the end of the tour they pressure you to buy souvenirs for outrageous prices. When we resisted paying the prices they were asking, the Masai guide suddenly got grumpy, ended the tour abruptly and escorted us out of the village. But other than that, the entire week was really magical and wonderful. I would have no reservations recommending Seven by Far to anyone considering a safari.

My best adventure with the Wild Africa Safaris.

Best tour I have ever been on. The tour guide Rodgers was brilliant, so nice, friendly and was a pleasure to listen to. I would highly recommend going on this tour, great value for money and a full day out taking in the magnificent views of the Botswana.

unforgettable safari expedients
5/5

We chose eastern vacations from the internet and contacted them. Emediately we got response from James k.Myovi. The information he gave us was very good .we booked a 3days safari to Governors camp by air. We used Mombasa air . We found joash our driver waiting for us in Masai Mara airstrip. He had 2 other tourists in his vehicle and proceeded for a game drive. We saw some elephants and antelops on our way to the camp.
We were received very well at Governors. Afternoon game drive was good with some few animals. Day 2 & 3 of our safari we saw cheatah with cabs ,lions and all other members of the big five.
The most interesting was that during our checkout we were offered a bottle of wine. We were told that this was at a courtesy of eastern vacations booking.
When we returned to Mombasa we were received well by a staff from eastern vacations and trafered to our hotel. We would like to recommend this company to any one looking for a reliable safari company in Kenya.

Botswana Wildside, superb safari.
5/5

This was our 5th Sunway Safari, and we are in our mid and late 70's. Although we had done this safari before (2009), it was so good that we wanted to take our daughter on it. It not only lived up to expectations, but exceeded them. Our guides Wayne and Zambo were amazing, full of knowledge, which they readily passed on to us. Wayne was a wonderful cook ( we are vegetarians ), which helped make our holiday great. The banter between Wayne, Zambo and all of us turned a great safari into a superb one. Not only did we see some amazing animals, but we came away knowing far more about them thanks to Zambo and his in depth knowledge. Although very hot up to 43deg, we would highly recommend this trip.

Excellent Experience!
5/5

We had a fantastic time on our safari. Our guide, Charles, was superb at spotting animals and was well-informed about the ecosystems, culture, and region. He did a great job of making sure we saw all the different animal species, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, rhinoceros, and even wild dogs! Sukofu was our cook and he performed above and beyond expectations. We always had delicious and warm meals, even though there were some difficult dietary restrictions in the group (2 vegetarians and 1 vegan). When I return to Tanzania, I will be sure to come back to World Tours & Safaris!

Amazing climb and TOP organisation
5/5

We follow the Machame route to climb the Kili.
Snowafrica was the perfect organization.
Our guides Florence and Benjamin are very excellent in guiding.
Also the organization of porters, a real good cook and a familiar waiter help us to reach the top.
Thanks a lot for this one in a lifetime experience.

Great experience but you can probably get better value for money
4/5

I went with a friend to a 4-day budget safari which included 3 visits at Masai Mara reserve and one at Lake Nakuru. The price included pick up and drop off from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the safari and back to the hotel and to the airport, which was great. The car was a bit run down and we were sharing with 4 other people. At Masai Mara we stayed in pre-pitched tents with private toilet/shower at Miti Mingi Eco Camp, which was okay but there were no hot showers as advertised; we had an issue with rain in our tent and we were promptly changed to another one. At Nakuru we stayed in at City Max hotel, which was quite in the middle of nowhere and the wifi signal did not reach the rooms, but it did the job. Our driver Richard was very knowledgeable and could virtually answer every single question we asked him. He found all the animals almost on the first day and we ended up seeing everything we wanted to see. Unfortunately, the weather was not with us so on the 3rd day, the driver suggested to skip the 3rd visit at Masai Mara and stop at Lake Naivasha to do an activity at an extra cost, which we refused to but agreed to stop there for a walk; however, when we got there he advised that the weather was not good enough and we drove straight into the hotel without actually doing anything at all, other than driving, which was a bit of a waste of a day; a back-up plan would have been appreciated. My friend and I finished our safari earlier than some other people in our group and were put in a different car to go back to Nairobi. There, we learnt that the people from that other car had paid less for the same type safari (with a different operator), done more things (the activity at Lake Naivasha that was offered at extra cost was offered for free to them) and had a much better car so it annoyed us a bit but that's life.

In short, I had a great time in this safari and I saw all the animals I wanted to which was amazing but if I were to do another safari I would probably do a bit more of research and negotiate the price better.
