Funny energetic tour guide who really cares that you are as many of the animals in the safari
Good value for the money. We were very lucky and was able to see 4 of the 5 big game 5 even though it was only a full day tour trip. And many other animals that were rare like the leopard or African wild dogs.

Excellent!
Michele was wonderful to work with. She was patient with our large group while we changed dates and plans. She was able to guide us through the process and ultimately planned the BEST vacation for us. Every detail from transport, to celebrating my Mom's birthday at every turn, to accommodations, tours and more was clearly thought out! I would highly recommend Michele and Indigo Safaris! You will not be disappointed.

Best safari
The best safari i have ever had. Spotted all the big FIVE and much more. Saw a leopard hunting a gazelle and we were excited , awed , scared and excited all in one. It was an amazing experience. Spotted lions in just 10 metres of length . It was as if i could touch him. Saw a pride of lioness and cubs . The cubs were feeding and it was an amazing experience. The elephants took my breath away. Saw four cheetahs . Also spotted a family of rhinos (mama, papa and baby). The stay and food was both comfortable and amazing.
The best part is that they communicate. They always reply and always tend to your needs. Every requirement was met. Loved the experience.

Responsive, friendly and organized
My experience with Zohar was outstanding….from the moment we started planning the trip with Lilian she was friendly and attentive….she helped guide us through planning for our trip to make it the very best experience. You never had to worry about anything….the moment you walk off the plane(make it through customs…which was easy) you are met by a professional driver. From that moment on you never have to worry about anything….in Zanzibar we had a gorgeous beach front room after that we started our Safari with Salomon ….he was the incredible and that man knew where the animals were ….we saw every animal on our list and some….the Safari camps we stayed at were very nice and the food was delicious….you have to visit …the people are so kind and happy.
We really researched and found Zohar to be the best value for your money…when you reach out to Lilian she will ask you what you want…..Five Star, in the middle or budget and she builds the trip off your answer. I was so happy with the trip I’m already planning the next one….people say coming to Africa is life changing and I can say “It was”!

A Dream Family Vacation
My family of five had an absolutely incredible safari in Tanzania lasting seven days in Selous, Saadani and Zanzibar. The trip blew our minds as it exceeded all our expectations. We spent 4 days in the mainland exploring Saadani which was spectacular. Seeing animals on land and enjoying the pristine white sandy beaches made it incredibly exciting. Selous was spectacular too. There were so many different animals, birds and beautiful habitats, particularly along Rufiji River.
Three days of ultimate relaxation on the Kendwa beach of Zanzibar were amazing. Thank you Rama for putting together this rare trip. It was flawless and next time we will definitely do a longer version.

A dream come true!
Going on a safari has always been one of our dreams and we managed to make them come true with Mountain Warriors. It was truly an unforgettable experience thanks to our guide Bob and our chef Innocent who were tireless to make our experience complete. Loveness was also essential for this as she was very quick in responding and helped us put together the ideal itinerary. We were also lucky enough to share everything with an incredible group who made our days better!
Thank you Moutain Warriors for the excellent work!

Bait and Switch on the hotel rooms, lectured repeatedly about tipping from guides
First, let me say that the guides did a solid job. They were friendly and got my entire group up the mountain. Now for the other part. The hotel we were originally supposed to stay in (Kibo Palace) was swapped out at the last minute for a place called the Keys Hotel. Don’t be fooled by the Keys three star rating, it is a one, maybe a two star. It’s not even close. I stayed at the Kibo Palace as I arrived a few days before my friends. The Kibo Palace is nice, an actual 3 star hotel. We all thought we were staying there as that is what Kilimanjaro on foot told us. It wasn’t till after my friends landed and were taken to the Keys Hotel that we learned otherwise. I had to change hotels from one I was already booked in.
Second issue, before we started to hike there was a meet and greet amongst the guides and our group. The guide must have spent a half hour talking about how much we should tip each person, which was well above what Kilimanjaro on foot had already recommended we tip, it seemed way excessive from this recommended amount.
Third, the guides got us up and down a day early. Not the worst thing, but it ends up that you have to book another night at the Keys Hotel which is quite expensive for the accommodations they offer. I would have been fine staying up on the volcano for our recommended time and coming down when we were scheduled to. This seemed like it was structured because the guides wanted an extra day off, not for our benefit. If they are able to get you up and down a day early it means they get a paid day off.
Fourth, the tipping is done not at the end of the trip but about half a day before. They make such a display about it and also make it a point that you had better tip generously or else. It's be better of Kilimanjaro on Foot to pay their people more and do away with the tipping all together and I wouldn’t have this awful taste in my mouth from the way the guides and sherpas behaved.
I would not recommend Kilimanjaro on foot for the reasons above. If you are aware of all of these factors you may want to consider them.

Excellent
It was a very great experience and we are so happy that we can see the great migration in our last minute waiting. We are so lucky to have Adrian as our tour guide, he got a good connection with other tour guide and get the migration news immediately. Thanks so much for all the arrangement and we enjoyed so much!
