Exciting, tailor-made experiences - the real Uganda!
1) the Bunyonyi photography trek
This was a short, morning trip to 5 locations: beauty spots overlooking the stunning Lake Bunyonyi. A perfect contrast to the bustle of downtown Kabale. Stunning panoramas which I will enjoy sharing with my photography club back in London.
The driver, Stephen, proved very careful, knowledgeable and sensitive to my needs eg coffee!

Bespoke birding safari to Murchison Falls National Park
Stephen, Carlos' brother, was my guide. We spent two full days in the Park, having driven up from Kampala. The organisation by Steady Safaris was excellent and Carlos came to meet me personally a few days beforehand at my accommodation in Kampala with a typed folder of the itinerary. Stephen's English was excellent and he made sure I was at ease throughout the trip. He had even caught the bird sighting bug by the end and was quite prepared to stop anywhere to have a closer look. I chose a mid range level of accommodation and the Murchison Falls River Lodge is well situated on the bank of the Nile. Stephen was able to arrange that one of the bird-knowledgeable rangers accompany us for a full day which increased our bird spotting rate a lot. He just knew where to find that elusive shoebill stork.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable safari with a capable and confidence inspiring company. I would certainly use them again.

The time of our lives
My 3 friends and I took an incredible week long safari with Tony Mobile Safari’s from Kasane, through Chobe, Savuti and Moremi. It was without a doubt the best safari, holiday and adventure I have had. Tony provided us with memories and stories that will last a life time. The Botswana bush is one of the most magical places I have ever been. Tony made sure that we had up close and personal accounts with the lions, cheetahs, leopards, wild dogs, hyenas, elephant’s, giraffes and a stunning array of birds.
The camp sites were set and packed up so efficiently and were more luxurious then I had imagined, bush camping is truly the way to see Botswana. Every night we enjoyed our dinner and chatted sitting comfortably beneath the stars and listening to the animals around us. We felt so spoiled to have Tony cook for us every day and the food was honestly so delicious. Because Tony is a local he is an encyclopaedia of knowledge on the land and animals and has a special relationship with both that enhances the safari experience beyond words. Tony is a highly skilled guide, very professional and attentive to the needs of his clients but also such a happy, fun guy and well respected guy who we shared a lot of laughs with on our trip. The whole trip was enchanting and I didn’t want it to end, I thought about running away from my day job and joining Tony Mobile Safaris.

Review about Ngorongoro Crater by Regan
The view of the Crater as you reach the summit is jaw dropping! Take some time here to suck it all in!
The Crater is a concentrated area and is arguably your best opportunity to see the Big Five in one Day, although the Leopard is pretty illusive and we never seen one here (We did however see four in the Serengeti).
We missed out on seeing Flamingo but this was because it was the wrong time of year.
For me the Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti were must visit destinations.
Get there!

Mind Blowing!
Newly Wed and in need of a Honeymoon destination, Tanzania with the Serengeti was for us an obvious choice.
Having grown up watching David Attenborough on TV this was our opportunity to experience this amazing place in the flesh.
Believe the hype! Tanzania is nothing short of spectacular, it blew our minds.
Flying in to Tanzania it become apparent just how vast this place is, Big Landscapes, Big Animals and in Big numbers, and the Tanzanian people have Big Personalities.
We visited in January and while we had some Rain showers it was generally perfect.
Temperatures were generally in the late 20's and was mostly sunny.
There is a variety of Accommodation to suit everyones tastes and we found ours perfectly adequate and we were provided good wholesome cooking, just perfect after a long day on Safari.
Our Land Cruiser was up to the task and comfortable on all kinds of terrain.
We were on a 5 Day Safari and every day we saw something new that blew us away.
If you're contemplating a visit to Tanzania don't hesitate any longer!

Review about Pilanesberg Game Reserve by thewildlifephotographer
More like a small safari park, with no feeling of being 'wild'. I won't be visiting again.

Review about Kruger National Park by thewildlifephotographer
Kruger is fantastic for wildlife but becoming too crowded and hectic to enjoy the experience. It's a good place to visit for first-timers but tick it off your list and head somewhere more adventurous next time.

Utterly fabulous, if you like that sort of thing
Kgalagadi is a superb place to visit at any time of the year, but November/December marks the transition from the end of the dry season as the rains can come at any point. It's hot, very hot, but worth is to see some incredible wildlife at close hand. The heat and lack of vegetation means a lot of action around the waterholes - great for predators but not so much fun for the prey. The landscape is, at times, breathtaking (if you like it dry and empty). Steer clear of the madding crowd around Twee Rivieren, head up to Mata Mata and/or Nossob for a wonderful and exciting experience but be prepared for basic accomodation.
I'm a pro wildlife photographer and I've been three times now (December, March and June). It's my favourite destination and I just love this park.

Review about Tanzania by Regan
We did our homework and had a good idea where the migration would be, although you never have any guarantees.
We were lucky and witnessed one of the planets greatest migrations, it's truly spectacular.
In your Safari vehicle you're able to get so close to the animals, if you take the time with them you learn their individual personalities.
We both had our expectations and wish lists and what's great was that Tanzania delivered on all these, but then there are the added bonuses, the Animals we never expected or knew about, and the jaw dropping scenery which has to be witnessed with your own eyes.

Awesome trip with very nice crew!
Though our 4-day Safari trip was booked last minute the organization was really good. Nice accomodations and a very cool campside with wildlife at night. The driver was professional and made us feel safe all the time. He knows the best spots for watching Big Five animals and has knowledge about all Wildlife and Safari facilities. The landscape is so impressive and I really enjoyed my experience with Big 5 Voyage :-)
