Great adventure, great escape, a desert dream that doesn't fade.
This was my third desert ride so I am truly hooked on the Namibia Horse Safaris. Desert dunes rocks ravines rivers and velvet plains, starscapes, fireside stories - horses with the biggest hearts, rose quartz and brown hyenas, places of wonder and imagination. Telane and Andrew top guides, horse people and great hosts. Gourmet meals courtesy of Lesley who kept his sense of humour even when i allowed my horse to roll next to the chuck wagon as he prepared lunch. Altogether a slick team that managed to make a lot of logistical work seem effortless. Just can't stop replaying desert days in my mind.

An awesome trip created by an awesome tour company!
This was our best vacation ever and Cuan & Gerald with African Ubuntu Safaris made that happen. Cuan was so detailed and available to answer my questions quickly. I had lots of questions about everything and anything and he always replied quickly and answered all my questions and eased my concerns. We spent a lot of time going back and forth planning what was best for our family. I feel like Cuan made the right suggestions based on our needs. He cared that he addressed our personal desires rather then just spitting out a basic tour template. Everything on the trip was planned out to the T. Everything went seamlessly and we always felt safe and comfortable. We had a long layover for our flight out of Johannesburg and Gerald met us at the airport and took us to lunch. This was so nice and we had a great visit with him & his wife. That is the kind of personal touches that make this company above the rest. I would highly recommend you use them for your tour company. I have already referred them to several of my friends. You will not regret a vacation to Africa--it was my dream vacation and I thank Cuan for making that dream come true!!!

Was awesom
Our group of 14 travelers recently returned from a 6 day/5 night safari in Tanzania with Tanzania Joy Tours. Although this is a relatively new company, the reviews we read were positive, so we thought we'd give them a try. From start to finish, they far exceeded our expectations. Emmanuel, our travel advisor, was superb in helping us plan our itinerary. He offered great suggestions on parks, accommodations, etc., and was extremely prompt and thorough in responding to our many questions and concerns. He was also very good in handling all the details and logistics involved in making travel arrangements for such a large group.
The safari itself was one of those "once in a lifetime" experiences. Our guides, Dan and Fred, were terrific! They worked hard from morning to night, enabling us to see amazing wildlife (including "the big five") close up. They were knowledgeable and great at answering our many questions. We were originally scheduled to visit Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro N/Ps. We had great visits at each of these, plus they squeezed in a memorable visit to Lake Manyara N/P as well.
Our accommodations were unique and fun, with staff at all of them going out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and well cared for. Arriving back from safari, we were always met with cool towels to clean our dusty faces, beverages, and hot water carried to our tents for some unforgettable showers. Campfires at night and wildlife wandering through the campsite at sunrise added to the experience.
Transportation (safari vehicles, airlines, and transfers) worked like clockwork and were very comfortable. Several in our group commented that they'd never been on a trip that went so smoothly.
Thanks to the staff at Tanzania Joy Tours, our safari was a amazing experience/adventure. Although many of their safari groups are smaller than ours, they very capably managed our large group. They offer a great experience at a reasonable price. Based on our experience, I strongly encourage you to give them a try

Luxury meets Rustic
When people try to describe Kenya, Tanzania, or Madagascar, for example, they always conclude with, "you just have to go there to understand it." In the care of Extraordinary Journeys we were really able to finally understand why people always say this. The sharp contrast of the rugged landscape, tenacious people, and utter luxury of minimalist but aesthetically refined accommodations make travel in East Africa something unparalleled in the world.
Everything lived up to and exceeded our expectations. Logistics went off smoothly, our safari guides were knowledgable, respectful and ensured ours and the wildlife's safety and our accommodations were truly sublime.

Totally professionals. our special thanks to Mr David who made our trip memorable.will surely go aga
It was a memorable trip. We were six in a group and had a gala time. They are really professional and really took care of us. Be it communication, livings and the safari it was of a high standard. Mr David beside being professional is a good human being who really planed and executed our trip very well. Our special thanks to him. It was really awesome going around the grassland andand Mr Patrick who was our guide and driver really shown all possible animals surviving in the land. His one liner was really a killer which always left us laughing. Would certainly like to go again with my wife.

Fantastic Safari experience
Our safari trip was very well planned - everything was organised so well, communicated clearly and the trip went perfectly. Accommodation in Botswana was great and we couldn't have asked for a better honeymoon trip!

the true beauty of Africa and her animals at land and in the water
Chobe National Park is one of the most amazing places to experience Africa in her full beauty. The biggest concentration of Elephants anywhere in the world, and all others in abundance on land, in the water and in between.

The best overall Wildlife Safari I've experienced in Sub-Sahara Africa
My company is Australian based and I have personally been more than 50 years associated with the International Travel Industry. On retirement I created a boutique operation "African Wildlife Adventures" to take past clients and friends to see the magnificent animals of the Sub-Sahara. "African Paradise Safaris" - and Peter Maina was introduced to me via a colleague and is now my partner operator based ex Nairobi Kenya. We have just completed a 19 day two country programme visiting Kenya & Tanzania, and other than for one tented camp (we stayed at eleven individual properties during this period) all other ten were 4 plus star hotels or lodges. Meals were on a full board basis and the food was excellent and the variety amazing. We covered some 2000 + kms on the journey in 4x4 Toyota Safari style pop top vehicles, without either a break down or mishap. Our team of drivers both in Kenya - Dixon & David whilst in Tanzania - Jacob & Moses were excellent, knew their vehicles well and drove to the road and traffic conditions, all vehicles used were comfortable and reliable. Some of the roads-tracks are hard going and need both care and skill to negotiate or drivers had both. Kenyan tourist vehicles can't be used in Tanzania and V.V., so you change over at the boarder crossings. When travelling through Africa my recommendation is to pack what you think you need, then take half of what you packed out then take what is left and pack it in a soft duffle style lockable bag as against a hard suitcase, it makes for easier stowage in the limited baggage area in the 4x4's. One thing that can't be guaranteed on Safari is what you'll see where, as animals just don't run to a schedule, but at each and every National Park or Reserve visited the animals were as if pre-organised and waiting for our visit! Our schedule had us visiting Nairobi, Amboseli, Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngoro Ngoro, Serengeti, Maasi Mara, Lake Nakuru, Aberdare, Samburu and Meru. Ngoro was a highlight - I've never seen so many different species all in the one place at the one time and why would they ever leave the Ngoro crater when it is abundant with food. The wilderbeast migration on the Serengeti was a sight to behold, viewed from a well placed Kojpe. Hundreds of thousands of wilderbeast lead by zebra were spread out in columns as far as the eye could see to the horizon. Although April is supposed to be in the "wet" season we didn'r experience any problems that effected our journey, there was plenty of grass cover that attracted large herds as well this time of year there is an abundance of new born animals, such as elephant, zebra, giraffe and lion cubs. When visiting East Africa in fact anywhere in Africa you have to do the distances to see it well, and with Peters help we saw more than we expected. African Paradise Safaris organisation was first class and with Peter's company made every thing happen - well done partner. Dennis J. Weatherall CEO African Wildlife Adventures - Sydney Australia

Fantastic
Great experience. Our guide was knowledgeable and helped us see all the animals we wanted including all the big five. Ben and his wife were accommodating and we're readily available from the time of booking up to and during the trip. Highly recommended.
