Unforgettable experience. Recommend
We chose the tour operator for a long time and decided to choose Ancient Wild Safaris, to be honest, because we liked the price and program.
The program included a meeting at the airport, 5 days safari and a transfer back to the airport.
It was a group tour. That is very nice, everything went well.
We visited Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro.
Accommodation was in Campsites. Very interesting experience, unity with nature.
Recommended for tourists to take warm clothes on safari, they will be useful to you at nignt in Ngorongoro.
The food was excellent, very tasty and hearty.
We saw a lot of animals. In general, the program is executed on 100%.
We are very happy!
Good quality for this price. Unforgettable experience. Recommend!

Low low low budget
I knew this was going to be a low budget trip. I have lived in Africa in several different countries for over 6 years. I am used to things not working, cold showers, camping and roughing it. What I did not know is that I would be hungry most of the trip because they don't have enough coolers to store food for breakfast and lunches. I also did not know that most of our days on the trip would be spent just driving and not really doing anything but looking out the window. In retrospect we could have spent about the same amount of money or just a little more seeing the gorillas and then flying from Rwanda or Uganda to Tanzania and also camping but having more days to see the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. So many days were lost driving and spending time on a dirty bus, with very little food and 21 other people that were nice but that I did not necessarily want to spend 24hrs a day with doing nothing on a bus.
I would have planned the trip differently if I had to do it over again. Maybe if you are going from Nairobi to Cape Town this would be the trip for you. They do organize everything and you really get to see the real Africa on this bus. So, logistics are not something you ever have to worry about with this tour company and that is a nice thing. Our guide and truck driver were so kind and helpful.
Of course Africa, the safaris and gorillas were spectacular. I just wish we could have seen them and not felt so dirty and hungry the whole trip and also not wasted so many days driving with strangers that were nice but not going to be lifelong friends.

They help you with everything for your trip! The people there are really friendly! I had really great trips, it was perfectly organized! They also found a last minute trip for me and my friend, that was so great! I would definitely recommend them!

Great 3-day safari
As a solo traveler, I was struggling to find the safari experience to fit my budget, as well as my inflexible schedule. That is, until I got connected with Peter. Not only did I have a memorable 3-day adventure, but it was all professionally executed and fairly priced. Peter and his team even kept me well fed despite my special dietary needs. In short, if I find myself in Tanzania again, I'm calling Peter. You should too.

Amazing wildlife experience on and off the Chobe River
Overall our Chobe Nat Park experience was amazing. We only were in the park one day but we had a river safari and land safari, both were wonderful. We travelled to Chobe while on our SmarTours vacation with the optional Victoria Falls extension. Our all the safari tours we experienced Africa, this was the best safari to view elephants. It was amazing to watch parade after parade of elephants travel to the river to drink water and play in the mud. The weather was hot around 104F but was expected since we traveled during the summer. We stayed in Zimbabwe at the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge which I couldn't rate any higher than Excellent. Our tour was through Wild Horizon and they did a great job transferring us through the border of Botswana. The line through customs was rather long on the way back which was not preferred since we were roasting in the sun and it was hot. We only safari'ed in Botswana, would have like to seen Zambia and Namibia but we would have had to buy more visas which are fairly expensive. Not sure of the hotel we ate lunch at but the food was amazing, some of the best food we had while in Africa. The wait staff was excellent. The lunch was included with the tour through Wild Horizon. Our overall experience in Chobe was excellent and I would highly recommend to anyone wanted to see wildlife especially elephants. I would definitely go back if I ever had the chance.
