The parks were more affordable than other countries. The country is small so it is easy to travel from Kampala, the capital, to the parks. The wildlife is diverse and the birding is fantastic. Best of all the Ugandan people are friendly and accomodating.

As it's a small park the number of different animals is limited but that makes one focus on more than just the big five.

There must have been a million flamingos. If I had not seen it myself, I would have never believed the "pink lake" was pink because it was covered with flamingos.

Review about South Luangwa National Park by africadunc

South Luangwa National Park was fantastic. The road there was in bad condition, but Flat Dogs camp was one of the best camsites ever, right on the river and beautifully maintained and run. Many animals crossed right into the camp and some days we just sat and watched without going into the park itself. We even saw leopard on the park side of the river from camp. Game drives into the park were great.

Review about Kenya Expresso Tours and Safaris by Wajahat Mahmood
5/5

We took one night Safari at Maasai Mara with Balloon Safari after reading the reviews at Trip Advisor. KET really deserves to be #1 Safari management company! We really tasted the meaning of Customer Delight as we were offered many services without negotiations!

1. Firstly we had a handsome discount from Paul as we referred another family to KET.
2. Then we were offered a special game drive though we paid for one only, and eventually we had more than just two game drives.
3. Then the Guide name Lucky was really helpful and he even took us to Mara Triangle and Mara River which was not included in the package. Due to his efforts we could see the early Wildebeest migration from Kenya to Tanzania due to heavy rains there.
4. We were even taken to Keekorok Hotel and its lake which was not asked by us during the booking.
5. And above all, we were given free ride from Maasai Mara to Nairobi through Safarilink Cessna though we only paid for driving back for 4 hours to Nairobi. Paul even paid us the taxi fare which we had to pay from Nairobi Airport to our residence.
6. The Sentrim Lodge arranged by them was really very comfortable

I really recommend Kenya Expresso Tours and Safaris to all who want to have a real taste of African Safari adventure!

A hidden gem in the rough !

Uganda wildlife is rich. You have to venture to the national parks for most of the action. The scenery is spectacular from the rolling hills to savannah, as well as the scenic Lake Victoria vista's, and forests there is a lot to take in. Accommodations can range from super luxury hotels in Kampala, and some of the upscale accommodations in the safari lodges. However more affordable accommodation can be found depending on personal tastes. Transportation is available but can be challenging given the state of infrastructure. A good destination for the eco-tourist who is willing to give up the creature comforts for the sake of beauty.
