The most patient, thorough, kind, and attentive man to plan my bucket list trip.
An African safari was #1 bucket list for me. I've been manifesting it for 14 years. Late nights, frugal living, and multiple jobs made it happen. In 2022, I read an article in Travel + Leisure about traveling with a purpose. It featured Jemu Expeditions and his amazing efforts at rhino conservation. With Travel + Leisure, you cannot buy positive press... if they have featured your company, it's because you deserve the recognition. They don't allow any bribes or financial encouragement; the publicity has to be earned. I reached out to James after reading the article, curious as to how to go on safari but also help the cause. For 2 years, this patient man, James Mwenda, helped me curate a unique (surprise for my husband) experience. He led me through all the intricacies of traveling to Kenya, from start to finish. To say we had an adventure is true. But, none of it would be possible without James and his team. They showed us the best time on an intimate trip to one of the most beautiful countries we have ever seen. Thank you, Jemu, George, and Josephine for all your hospitality.
This was well worth the money we paid and was truly tailored to us. The communication with the entire team is outstanding and we're already contemplating yet another trip.

Best conditions for excellent sightings, culminating in a family of 10 lions and a leopard while hunting. Mobile tent accommodation is a real adventure for "standard Europeans". Schicki Micki is definitely out of place here.

Unforgettable and incredible Tour
Was our first time in Afrika and our first safari. What a great experience! Excellent tour Organisation from pick-up at our villa in Diani to the different accomodations until the return. Our driver Badru with over 20 years tour experience did everything to make the tour to very special tour. Even a forgotten stuffed animal in the first lodge was no problem for him to get it back. We’ve seen all what’s possible to see. Even a cheetah mother with 5 baby’s! Was our best family trip ever. We had 5 incredibly beautiful and impressive days that we will never forget. Thank you so much!!!!

Amazing
We were on an amazing trip in Tarangire and Ngorogoro crater with Omary, a real veteran tour guide. He knows every creature and every route in the area, like the back of his hand. Never been on such an adventure before!
I recommend you to book this tour, and ask Omary as your guide to get an experience of a lifetime! I hope we can come back sometime, because there is so much left to explore in Tansania.

Incredible Experience - Dream Come True! Fantastic Team and The Trip of a Lifetime.
This was a once in a lifetime experience, and this group of people really took care of us and made it an incredible week! My friend climbed Kili a few years ago and recommended Chance from Barafu Tours who now operates Wildcation Travels for when we go, so we did just that! And he was helpful to work with from the start. Just reach out and ask for Chance and his team. We were given the most amazing team, led by Florian and Tobias, and all of the porters, chefs, and everyone was simply so kind, helpful, and friendly along the way. We felt looked after with nightly medical checks to check our oxygen levels, and the food we were given was delicious and plentiful! They even went over the top in dusting our clothes for us at the end of each day and making sure we had hot water to wash with. I highly recommend this group if you are thinking of climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro - they are awesome! (We did the 6 day, 5 might Machame Route and also recommend this option). Thank you for making our dreams come true!

Fantastic Safari Adventure with a Highly Professional Team!
We had a fantastic experience with Morningstar Safari! Our driver and guide, Stephen, was extremely professional. He navigated even the roughest roads carefully, ensuring a smooth and comfortable ride. On main roads, he drove fast and safely, helping us reach each destination quickly. When spotting wildlife, Stephen gave us plenty of time to observe them and take photos, and shared fun facts about the animals. Thanks to him, we were able to see the Big Five and many other unique species, filling our photo albums with unforgettable moments.
Our travel consultant, Dennis, was also exceptional. During the planning stages, he promptly made adjustments to our itinerary based on our feedback. He handled all the hotel bookings, park tickets, and more. When we encountered a problem with our hotel room one night, I called Dennis, and he responded immediately. He communicated with the hotel manager and secured a better compensation for us.
A few suggestions:
1. The vehicle was a bit outdated compared to other safari cars and lacked charging ports, which would have been useful on long drives.
2. We also nearly missed the rhino, even though they were quite close. Fortunately, I spotted them after standing up, allowing us to capture this memorable moment.
3. Additionally, after paying the deposit, Dennis became a bit slower in responding to messages, and we didn't receive much guidance or attention before the trip, which would have been helpful for better preparation.
Although there are still some points for improvement, we are overall very satisfied with the service and highly recommend Morningstar Safari!

Best vacation experience of a lifetime!
Incredible experience! Diane Du Plessis was our consultant for two South African safaris, one at Umkumbe Bush Lodge (Sabi Sand Nature Reserve) and the other at Motswari Game Reserve (Timbavati Private Game Reserve). Transfers and in-country flights all went off without a hitch. Everywhere we stayed was beautiful and elegant, including our last four days at the Winchester in Capetown. On safari, we got to see lions, leopards, wild dogs, hyenas, rhinos, hippos, Impalas and more. At both reserves, we saw animals with their kills and got very close without disturbing them. Guides were great at both locations. The bungalows at Umkumbe were brand new and very comfortable. The food was particularly good at Motswari. Motswari has an early coffee and treats before you go out on safari, which is nice. Highly recommend Discover Africa!

It has been a very sad experience
We have had a very sad experience. We booked and full paid our 12-days safari, mores than two weeks ago (7500 dólares).After that, the company hardly answer our requests. Yerterday (one day before our trip) the owner, Haron, wrote US an email saying: "...we are unable to provide the services... We assure that we will do everything possible to proceso your refund". Right now i am at the airport as we cannot change our economic ticket. We will arrive to Nairobi tomorrow night. However we don't have Even a hotel as we has paid including the firts night at Nairobi. The owner now did not answer neither emails nor WhatsApps or calls. We plan go to this safari, before an academic conferece we where invited to present results from our research. We are from Colombia, so we Will have a long and very sad and disapointed trip. We have receips of the tranfers from our bank and the receipts the company send as prove of our payment. However they did not answer US. We do not know what to do.
