Our 4-day classic mid-range safari in December 2024, covering Lake Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater, was an exceptional experience. From start to finish, everything was well-organized, providing the perfect balance of adventure, comfort, and breathtaking wildlife encounters.
A key highlight of this journey was our outstanding guide, Japhet. His deep knowledge of the national parks, incredible ability to spot wildlife, and engaging storytelling made this safari truly special. Stanley was patient and knowledgeable.
Stanley arrived on time...5 am. It was a whole day safari. He provided raincoats for us, as it was drizzling and went over the rules. We were a group of six friends who were all first time safari participants. He provided knowledgeable details on the wildlife and their behavior and went beyond our expectations when answering our questions. He knew the layout of the land. We were all very impressed and pleased with all our pictures and videos. He was very professional. I fully recommend using this company.

Enthusiastic guide and very good driver
We did a 6 day tour inculding Gorilla's in Bwini national park, Safari in Queen Elisabeth national park, chimpansees in Kibale National Park and rafting on theriver nile in Jinja. Very nice combination of activities in this tour. Able has a lot to tell and is a real ambasador of Uganda. He is really caring for the joy of his guests.

Truly one of the best experiences of my life
My experience with Balu Travel was incredible. Morris was wonderful about communicating and answering questions, even with a time zone difference. Everything was seamless and easy. My guide, Ephantus, is truly a gem of a person. As this was my first solo trip in Kenya, he was a warm and friendly companion for nearly 24 hours of riding in a safari van. We had great conversation, and his knowledge and appreciation for wildlife is admirable. I don't think I could have had a better experience.

Amazing, Friendly, flexible according to the needs of the group.
We were in 16 people divided in 3 cars. My driver was Solomon, great guy. Educated and with a lot of information about the country.
I just wanted to say thank you to him again for making our experience unforgetable.
But as I said, we were a group so the other drivers too were fantastic :).

Wonderful well planned Safari Experience
Deo was great to deal with when arranging our Safari, he was extremely efficient and communication was excellent. He answered our messages immediately and nothing was too much trouble. The Safari was well planned and accommodation was first class. Our guide Lazafo was wonderful, very friendly and informative not to mention an amazing driver too! We saw the Big 5, 4 of which on the first day! We had a couple of flight changes which is common but Deo dealt with everything perfectly. A truly memorable Safari which we will never forget. Thank you to everyone at Goldfinch for making this possible, we will never forget it!

Another Excellent Trip
My wife and I went with Hermosa in 2024 when we did the Gorilla Trek and had a fantastic experience with them so when we decided to go again in 2025 there was never any doubt that we would be using Hermosa yet again. Once more they were an absolute delight, a company I have full confidence in which counts for so much when booking a holiday. I was assisted all the way by Yvonne and Oreste, both of them responded instantly to any questions I had and they made sure everything was absolutely perfect. Our driver/guide was Augustin, who went above and beyond to make sure we had a fabulous time. Hermosa are the sort of company who take great pride in their work and who's first thought is to make sure that the customer is completely satisfied. Whether it be communication, service, reliability or the whole holiday, Hermosa make certain that the customer is looked after and has a marvellous time.
