First class personal service
When we decided to visit Namibia we started reading up on tour operators and Blue Crane Safaris had such good reviews we decided to email them with an idea of where we wanted to go/see/do and asked if they could provide an itinerary. Derek Jacobs the owner replied very quickly and that was the start of a 10 month communication when we decided to book a self drive tour with them. Nothing was too much trouble and any emails were replied to promptly.
When we arrived in Windhoek we were picked up by a company representative and taken to their offices to pick up our car and go over the itinerary. Jamie did the handover which was very in-depth and she gave us all the relevant information we needed as well as a WhatsApp contact number. Some of the accommodation on tour was suggested by Blue Crane and some we chose ourselves, it was a good mix.
We had an absolutely fantastic holiday it couldn’t have been better, everything went like clockwork thanks to Blue Crane. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better to we were upgraded to the Bush Camp at Okonjima on our last three nights which was a fantastic surprise, it was amazing.
The personal service the Blue Crane Safaris team provide is second to none and we highly recommend them.

It is an amazing Safari experience
Finally I came to Africa and saw animals! Been to Amboseli and Masai Mara, I’ve seen awesome views and lovely animals. Benson offered flexible arrangements based on my schedule and budget. He is very patient and always ready to help, worthy of trust.

Excellent Tour Operator
We had a great experience at mount meru. Everything was well organized and we were picked up on time. We had a short briefing the day before the tour and a short talk after the tour in our Hotel. During the tour we had a really good service starting from hot water to wash our bodies after a long hike and ending with the hot tea at the top of mount meru. In addition the food was excellent and more than enough. Most of the people working as porters, guides and cooks are men but in our team we had a female cook which is really cool to see. We would book again any trekking tour with zanzi trekking.

Outstanding African Safari Experience with Tegu Tours!
Our recent safari trip to Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, and Amboseli with Tegu Tours was nothing short of extraordinary. From start to finish, every aspect of our journey was impeccably organized, ensuring a seamless and enriching experience.
A special mention must go to our guide, Francis, whose expertise and passion for wildlife were truly exceptional. Francis had an uncanny ability to spot even the most elusive animals, and his deep knowledge of the ecosystems made every game drive both educational and thrilling. Thanks to him, we witnessed the Big Five, breathtaking landscapes, and countless moments of natural beauty. His attention to detail and genuine care for our comfort made the trip even more enjoyable.
From the stunning wildlife of Maasai Mara to the birdlife of Lake Nakuru, the serenity of Lake Naivasha, and the iconic views of Mount Kilimanjaro in Amboseli, each location offered something unique. The accommodations were excellent, and the logistics were flawlessly handled.
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and wholeheartedly recommend Tegu Tours for anyone seeking a truly unforgettable African safari.

The tour was well organized, fun, and memorable
Our tour operator Benson was helpful and communicative before, during, and after the trip. Our tour guide Geoffrey was friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend Tall Masai to friends planning a visit to Kenya's parks. If visiting Amboseli, just be prepared for a bumpy ride and lots of dirt!

Amazing experience and Thank You Golden Rwanda Safaris for making it all happen.
From the onset of our initial inquiry 8 months previous and thru to the end of our safari, it was a very nice experience working with Golden Rwanda Safaris. Frank ( found / owner) and our driver Taufique were excellent!! Taufique was very flexible, personable and accommodating to all of your needs.
I was especially impressed with the extra support efforts that Taufique and Frank provided when one of our colleagues got sick the evening before our gorilla trek and had to miss his scheduled gorilla trek. Frank and Taufique did a lot of scrambling to managed to secure a gorilla trek for the next day. It would have been a shame if he had to miss that amazing experience of seeing the gorillas!!

Review about Uganda by nickvp
Uganda is not an obvious Safari destination. It's variety in scenery, people and wildlife makes it an truely recommended and unique travel, especially for someone who has already seen the big game Safari in Kenya or Tanzania. In Uganda you can see tree hanging lions in the morning and Mountain Gorillas in the afternoon, there is no other country in the world that has that. We went with drifters, a tour operator that uses very comfortable trucks (instead of jeeps) for groups up till 16 people. In my opinion, the trip was such a great experience because we camped almost every night and we had the most fantastic guide Anthony Washford to drive the truck, cook the food and plan all the excursions such as the astonishing Gorillas at Bwindi.

Beaten track, but beaten for a reason.
Unfortunately we missed the migration at the park, but it was still busy with tourists. The landscape is open and expansive, meaning you're not constantly surrounded by other vehicles - unless you come across a pride of lions, in which case expect a steady build up of tourists.
There's a great number of animals to be seen at the park, and you'd have to be pretty unlucky not to come away with several decent sightings. Being driven around certainly makes for a relaxing tour, and there are plenty of extras to consider including camping or staying at a hotel within the park and balloon tours.
Our guide was interesting, we really liked him though I would imagine more professional ones are available. He was good at spotting wildlife but wasn't overly knowledgeable about each species. He compensated for this by being a fun and hardworking guide. The food provided was ok - not exactly fine dining, but we weren't expecting that anyway.
The weather during our time there was good - hot but not too hot, and sometimes cloudy. It didn't rain.
The highlight was probably the lions, as we saw them close up and with the male, who came and lay down right next to our vehicle. Just as we were about to leave a female arrived and called to her cubs, who arrived through the long grass. They were very cute. I also loved the hippo pool, where there was loads of activity.
All in all we had a fantastic time at the park, and would thoroughly recommend it to others who have an interest in wildlife.

A top-notch safari experience
I stayed at the Linkwasha camp in Hwange National Park as part of an organized tour that also visited camps in Botswana and Namibia. The terrain at Hwange is a bit different from these other parks as it is more flat, less bushy, more like a savannah where you can see open areas of flat land and many animals together in the same environment. It was in Hwange where we saw large groups of giraffes, together with zebras, wildebeest, etc all in the same area. We also were fortunate to see many lions here, including a family with cubs who came out to play a few feet in front of our vehicle while we watched the parents on a hunt for ostrich. We also were very lucky to spot a leopard in Hwange - our guides hadn't seen one for a few months! Linkwasha camp was very comfortable, and had a spectacular view of a watering hole very close to the camp deck, where elephants were on view during any given time of the day. Our guide, Temba, was excellent. He always seemed to have a sense of when animals were close by, and would find them for us. He had a great sense of humor, too. Other highlights in Zimbabwe were visiting a village and school, as well as a flight to view the spectacular Victoria Falls. August was a great time to go, with sunny days that were cool in the mornings, with layers coming off and sunscreen needed for middays. Ideal for animal viewing! I would go back to Zimbabwe in a hearbeat!
We could not rate Chameleon Safaris highly enough
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our safari with them. Our guide Francois and driver Philip
were fantastic and really made the trip interesting as well preparing
delicious meals for us all, and it was a great group of people as well. And
of course the wild life was amazing. We were also very impressed with the
standard of the accommodation in the lodges.
In short we cannot rate this tour highly enough and will be sure to
recommend your company to anyone we know considering a safari in Africa.
