Incredible experience and wonderful organisation
5/5

Our safari trip was an unforgettable experience - so much better than I could have imagined. The company and our guide Anton was recommended to us by our friends and were are extremely grateful to them. The email communication with the owner was quick and smooth so when we arrived we knew exactly what to expect. Our guide was very friendly and provided us with lots of information durind the trip and Benson, the cook, took good care of our stomachs!
During the trip I understood what people mean when they say that the guide and cook can make your experience amazing or horrible - we enjoyed it so much because people take good care of us and that's why it's important to choose a good company and discuss all the details before the trip!

A first class Safary
5/5

Very recently ( first week of this month ) , I went on a Safari in Tanzania with Wisdom African Safaris, from Ngorongoro to Northern Serengeti. Here are my comments about this trip. First what l did see : all kinds of wild animals , specially lions , zebras and wildebeests. What i didnt see : cub lions and hienas . What l saw very little : rhinos, only one from far away ,too bad that they are being decimated by the poachers. Overall was a great Safari and our guide, Gideon was excellent, very knowledgeable and very patient. Top on my list was seeing the animals crossing the Mara River, and out of two days there l only saw it for about ten minutes on the first day. lt was not much but was better than nothing, l heard stories of some people being there for two or three days and never seeing it. Sometimes you see a large number of wildebeests approaching the river, looks like they are going to jump and than they go back, maybe they saw some crocodiles, who knows, than they may cross the river next day or go to another spot further east or west. Anyway , my Safari was an unforgettable experience.

Fantastic!
5/5

Easy travel facilitated our holiday in Tanzania that we booked at Matoke tours (the Netherlands). Gilbert Mariki was our guide/driver, and thanks to him we had a fantastic experience. Gilbert has extensive knowledge regarding animals/nature and culture. He was great company and took excellent care of us.

Best wildlife holiday ever
5/5

I am not one to write big raving reviews, but we just returned from our honeymoon, the first part of which we were lucky enough to spend with a Maasai Wanderings guide who made our time extra special - not only was he extremely genuine with a great sense of humour, patience and character. But the natural passion he maintained for the job was evident - he must have seen hundreds of big cats yet he was still getting excited by seeing something new. His reading of animals' behavioural pattern was second to none - on at least half a dozrn occasions he made the right call on where to put the car, and crucially, when. The best example is this: we tracked a female lion over the course of 45minutes, to her leaving the pride, to watching her kill a zebra around 25-30 away from our car - we were one of 2 cars out of 24-25 in the vicinity to watch the kill -- as all others were expecting the kill to happen elsewhere. The other car to witness the spectacle?--another Maasai Wanderings car!
A couple other examples of how our guide went above and beyond what we could/would have expectsd of him: our camera charger's fuse got blown in one of the camps--our guide set about repairing it himself. On the final day at Kogatende airstrip, as confusion reigned supreme as to which bush plane was flying where, our guide managed to offer us not one, but to alternative planes to take us to our next destination! so it was our pick which one to fly with!. Could we ask for anything more?! i dont think so. All in all, having had experience with other wildlife tour operators on various continents, i can reassure everyone that Maasai Wanderings are one hell of a company and you will be in the best of hands.

great experience
4/5

I highly recommend the Company. We loved the experience.
Our driver had a huge knowledge about the animals, always trying to find nice things to see, and being very patient and we want stop to take pictures.
Our cook (Eric) was excellent as well. His food was delicious.
Both of them were very kind.

About: Vayeni
Efficient, knowledgeable and friendly
5/5

Vayeni put together a tour for a group of 12 colleagues to travel around Zimbabwe. We only had time for the highlights so the itinerary was packed, but we saw a huge amount in one week. Vayeni were brilliant from the start: meeting everyone at the airport (despite our different arrival times), recommending and booking ideal accommodation in the best locations, and looking after us every step of the way. They arranged our bus, helped us design the route, gave us lots of suggestions for activities, guides, and even the best restaurants to visit! Zimbabwe is a stunning country, an absolute gem, and has the friendliest people in the world. We are all keen to go back soon, and can't thank Luke and Suzanne (and their team) enough for such smooth organisation.

Simply one of the best tour operator in Kenya
5/5

I booked a 4day Masai mara and Nakuru safari on August with Bison safaris and I have to say that they are the best at what they do. Our tour guide had great experience of the jungle and knew exactly where and when to stop for us to take pictures. Margaret our tour organizer advised us to choose what I believe is the best safari ever. I will be back in December for another amazing adventure with you guys. Thank you.

Wonderful service, made my 9 year old sons' first safari a dream come true.
5/5

I lived in Tanzania for years, but having left 10 years ago, I needed to be led through the whole process. In the end, Catherine at Java Safaris did all our bookings and organised everything perfectly for us. Catherine suggestd various options, and after we had booked, we changed it all again, and she seamlessly made the alterations and changed the routes for us.

Our safari started in Arusha, where we were met by our lovely driver Hussein. We went to Tarangire first, 3 adults and 3 under 10's. The vehicle was comfortable, with a small fridge, pop up roof, power points to charge cameras and videos. The driver guide was hugely experienced, spoke excellent English, and found us the best that could be found in Tarangire National park. he was very sensible about how long the children could cope in the car, and was very sweet with them, explaining things in a way they could understand.

After 2 nights we went to Ngorongoro. Ngorongoro was spectacular, and again Hussein was brilliant. He found us some rhino, 26 lion in a day, and a visit to the Masaai village where my son got to do some Masaai jumping. He was knowledgeable and shared his knowledge freely, and was extremely kind - at the end of our safari , having had such a great time my son cried bitterly and announced he wanted to be a driver guide when he grows up. Java Safaris, and cathering in particular, really get this right. She is professional, organised, interested, adviseswisely, and enjoys the pleasure your safari brings to you as her client. I dont think you can really ask for more.

Thank you for amazing trip!
5/5

We ordered Kili climb and 2-days safari ,instead of with got greater experiance we could imagine, from the first minute we landed till we departured. Alphonz ,Martin(Climb guide) were just amazing and i can't find any bad word about those guys.
They make my dream to come true with decent prices ,great English and deep knowledge of any question/issue we raised. No doubt - my best trip ever!

In Safari we got great guide that made our Safari trip unforgetable including great lodge in between.

During my visit i heard a lot from other groups about non proffesional guides and tourist companies so if you come to Tanzania Abacombo Tours and Alphonz are you adress for decent prices and great experiance.

At the end we have 2 aditional free days and Alphonz helped us to make aditional perfect trip to Zanzibar including flights, transportation and great resort and again with decent prices.

Thank you guys again!

Awesome adventure
5/5

What makes this company great is the people that run it. The main man, George, was most accommodating, communicated well and remained agile as we wished to change our previously agreed itinerary at the last second. We had done multiple safaris before getting to Tanzania so we grew tired of it and since we originally had planned on doing 5 more days of safari we asked if we could change it up. George gave us options to choose from which included staying with a Masai tribe as well as hunting with the bushmen. We opted to do both since we were craving new experiences and adventure instead of sitting in a truck for 8 hours looking at animals. Both were amazing experiences and highlights of the trip. Since there was an obvious language barrier between the Masai/bushmen/locals and us, we needed a translator and a guide. This is where George delegated Gidion to hang around with us for the duration of our trip and make sure we are happy and comfortable. Not enough words could explain how awesome Gidion is but we are now friends and will keep in touch. Every night after our excursions, George and Gidion would buy us dinner and ask how it is going and how can they can make the experience better. The customer service was phenomenal, I highly recommend and will be back.
