Uncomplicated, well working safari
4/5

Arriving in Tansania we had the wish to go on Safari for some days and found near by Arusha in Usa River this Safari Organizer who could arrange a Safari for us within two days (of course it was low season;-)
With our guide and driver Elias we spent three special days in the North of Tansania, visiting Tarangire NP, Lake Manyara NP and the Ngorongoro Crater. Elias tried to give us an view on the tribes living here in the north peacefully together. He drove us with safe handling on each kind of road and was a patient driver in the NP's who showed us nice places to see the animals near by and to have a view on the impressing nature.
Also our lodge in Mto wa Mbu- the twiga lodge- was a good place to stay- with its clean rooms, nice food and over all the pool.
Thanks to Elias and to Rose and Albert

Excellent and friendly advice, flawless planning, stress-free experience.
5/5

Right from the first contact with Cuan, everything just fell into place so seamlessly that I ended up-and I say this without a skerrick of exaggeration- enjoying the trip of a lifetime! I stumbled across African Ubuntu Safaris on the net and was intrigued by the name; also the website was well laid out and easily navigable. Cuan was very helpful, patient, friendly and upfront with his advice and I found him very trustworthy.
The whole itinerary was well tailored to suit my budget and preferences; the package wasn't cheap by normal standards but I can unhesitatingly state that the experiences I had far exceeded my expectations-in fact the accommodation at the camps were more luxurious than I had anticipated!
The different camps around Botswana afforded me an exposure to different landscapes, wildlife and birdlife. I not only saw all the wild animals one normally associates with Africa namely Lion, Elephant, Cape Buffalo, Leopard, Cheetah, Rhino, Hippo, African Wild Dogs, Giraffes, Springboks, Lechwes, Nile Crocodiles,-the list is endless- but I was also fortunate enough to spot rarer animals like the African wild cat (Chobe NP), the Honey Badger (Kwando Lagoon Camp) and a host of birdlife to delight even the most jaded of birdwatchers!!
The river cruises and the safari drives were well organised and there was no stress at any time, the guides and the trackers were trained, competent and professional which ensured that everyone stayed safe but had a great opportunity to spot a huge variety of wildlife up close including the more elusive animals.
I would book my next safari through African Ubuntu Safaris without any hesitation and I highly recommend them to anyone- be they individuals, couples, families or groups. The tours are certainly not cheap by conventional standards but definitely good value and for the comfort, safety, peace of mind and priceless wildlife encounters and experiences----definitely worth it!!

I did my booking for the Zambezi Sun hotel by Falcon Safaris, all my questions and expectations were answered with kindness. And thanks to this we had a marvelous stay at the Zambezi Sun hotel.
Thank you

One of the trips of a lifetime with heaps of animals, top class service and amazing experiences.
5/5

At every point during the organisation, planning and the trip itself, we found our experience excellent. The service and accommodations were great, with our more budget-conscious selections very adequate, whilst the more up-market accommodations we selected were top class. The guides (whose expertise you really depend on), the driving, boating and walking tours we did were fantastic - we saw "the big 5" within a just a couple of days, and kept seeing them, and so much more, for our entire trip to South Africa, Zambia and Botswana. We had great, (extremely) up-close and personal experiences with lions, hippos, leopards, buffalo, elephants, giraffes and rhinos as well as lots of other animals.
The scenery everywhere was spectacular and our trip to Victoria Falls for 3 days was fantastic (do the heli-flight and visit a local Zambian village, preferably for church on a Sunday).
It was our 30th wedding anniversary and we discovered that the company arranged for a very special, surprise, private, champagne dinner for two for our last night in paradise. Such personalized service!!
What a great continent, great people, great scenery and wildlife, all done and presented very, very well. We commend Wild Africa Travel Company to everyone who wants a special, trip of a lifetime!

The best Safari, only do this one
5/5

The safari was the best I have done in Kenya. The other two I did were not as good and much more expensive. Kennedy and John were the best people to arrange everything. Highly recommend!

This park is definitely my favourite out of Arusha and Manyara. The landscapes are beautifully spotted with Baobobs and the herds of elephants are truly breathtaking.

Review about Ruaha National Park by Justin

This is probably my favourite park of all. The bush vibe is intense!! I absolutely love this park! We stayed in the old bandas and had to be careful at night after a very close call with a hippo passing just by us. There are no fences between the campsite and the savannah and we could hear the lions within a hundred metres of us at night roaring. Elephants passed right by at night. The game spotting was insane. We saw cheetahs, countless lions, and way too many other amazing sightings to list. This park is amazing.

Review about Ngorongoro Crater by Justin
Overall rating
4/5

Excellent destination for spotting wildlife. It has one of the highest concentrations of lions around and I certainly saw quite a few. It tends to feel a bit like a zoo in my opinion, as it is all enclosed within the 'crater', and the land cruisers feel like they're on a set track weaving through it like a Jurassic Park ride in Hollywood studios. It's not my favourite, but if you have a long focal length Canon L lens, this is your place to shine. Prop it on a beanie and start shooting keepers.
