Professional, knowledgeable, and good value for money! When we 1st decided to travel to Tanzania, it was hard to choose the TO!I was nervous about selecting a good travel company because I knew it would either make or break our trip. After different research, I end up with amazing reviews from Hekima Safaris and we booked 9 days Safaris. Everything went as planned from Jackson to the rest of the team. Thank you Hekima Safaris, If anyone is thinking of traveling to Tanzania, do not hesitate to book with Hekima Safaris. I can confidently say that they are one of the BEST in the business!

The "real" Africa experience

Having visited Kenya, Tanzania, Botswana, Uganda, Namibia and South Africa, my favorite safari country is Zambia. Specially (North) Kafue and North Luangwa.

The scenery of the Busanga plains is exceptional, and for the rest Kafue will always surprise you with better and more thrilling game sighting while you are alone. So much unlike Tanzania and Kenya where every big cat cannot move without 20 safari vehicles on its tail.

North Luangwa is great for day long bushwalks, encountering the big 5 on foot. A vast space with *no* other man around for many, many miles. If you start to think what might happen if you break a bone on a long walk, far, far away from any help and infrastructure, North Luangwa is not for you.

If you like to encounter lions, stand in between 200 buffalos when you stepped out of the tall grass, this is the place to go.

Very good service for affordable price

We have been satisfied and now we can't forget Tanzania and its National Parks. The safari was amazing and we saw a lot of animals. We saw a lot of lions in Serengeti and Ngorongoro, and also leopard and cheetah in Serengeti. We have also visited Arusha park (it's nice and good starting point) and Tarangire (a lot of elephants!!).
We were only 2 in the jeep, our guide David was friendly and amazing spotting animals in a distance.
Some roads are bumping and driving to Serengeti is tough, but it's a great experience.
We have really enjoyed our time in Tanzania.

I've been to Kenya, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Zambia in the past. Areas such as the Masai Mara in Kenya rival anything the other destinations can offer, and there's simply nothing to beat the visual experience of the 2 million flamingo at Lake Nakuru or Lake Bogoria, when numbers are high, (the number does fluctuate with the weather, time of year and level of water in the lake). On the other hand it's often argued that Kenya is more "touristy", that it's less "wild" than say, the Luangua Valley in Zambia, - well probably true, but then it's more accessible, the infra-structure is better and it's less expensive. I'd also suggest the game-viewing is perhaps better, as the open plains are condusive to seeing animals from afar (in Chobe N.P., Botswana, and Hwange N.P. , Zimbabwe, I found animals were only visible when they emerged from the bush to cross the road). They are also more used to tourist disturbance, - not so skittish. So it gets a good rating in my book!

Review about Chobe National Park by Patrick Smith

Chobe was, in parts, the most touristed and commercialized of the areas we saw. There are areas of the park that I would not return to because of the crowds and zoo-like feel of the wilderness.

One exception was the gorgeous Savuti area. Savuti's exotic-sounding name is matched by its sense of isolation and eerie beauty. This is a harsh, jagged region of primordial vistas that seem to belong in another epoch.

The campground showers here are built like bunkers, to keep thirsty elephants from wrecking them. At night, the walks from tent to toilet are made in pairs, flashlights blazing.

Setting up our camp one afternoon, I heard a sudden thrashing of branches just to my left. As I watched, an elephant walked out of the trees not forty feet away, trundling past my tent and into the next clump of trees.

We had a wonderful weekend trip from Malawi to South Luangwa. Our camp was set up on the banks of the South Luangwa river, where we could watch the hippos and crocodiles. The hospitality and our guides were excellent, and South Luangwa park is enormous so there was much to see. We were so fortunate to see many lions, including a mother and five adorable and active cubs who just played all around our vehicle! I will never forget waking up in the middle of the night to the sound "chomping" from outside my window, and peering out to see a gigantic hippo eating grass right in front of my window! There were several other hippos walking around the grounds as well, the natural lawn-mowers of South Luangwa! Later, still in the early morning, as they called us for breakfast while it was still dark, we could hear rustling trees and one of the staff trying to chase the elephants off the grounds who were blocking the walking path! All in all an unforgetable experience!

My family and I have had extremely fantastic experience travelling with Maasai Magic Safaris
5/5

My family and I travelled with Maasai Magic Safaris for Christmas holiday in Africa. The company was recommended by a friend who also happened to have fab time in Tanzania with them in 2011!We decided to email this company and communicated our wishes to Africa and guess what, they gave us superb options and we picked the first one on the spot as they relayed more than we needed for an African safaris for us and after that wired the money to their account for our reservations and notified us of the bookings immediately. We were met with flowers by their representative at the airport and transferred to a hotel for an overnight stay and this gave us another big note of the quality of the travel company we were travelling with, they took care of us unexpectedly and showed us how great their country, the friendly people and the amazing wildlife. We took over 4000 pictures during this tour and need time to sort them out to show to our friends back home!

Well I do not want to say much but the title itself describes how enthusiastic my friends and I were all round our journey. We had never used this company before and we had so much doubts but the treatment received was incredible. West East Tours & Safari really know how to take care of their clients. They made us have such an amazing time at the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the Serengeti National Park and the Lake Manyara. Considering the experience we have had with them, they are a worth it team and the best for the market according to us, and nitbonly that yheir prices are also affordable.
