Kongo
5/5

I've been backpacking in Africa for two months. I debated a lot if spending the money on these three days, and it was the most amazing three days of my trip. Volcano is the most amazing place I have ever been and the gorillas were also amazing. The instructors were also amazing and gave me a good feeling and made sure I was really happy and decided to invest in it. Thank you, Barak

Everything you could possibly ask for.
5/5

Josh and Ole have recently gone it alone after learning their trade as safari guides over many years. With Josh as our guide we had the most amazing bespoke three-day safari experience. The brief was birds for my wife and great photo opportunities for me, plus giraffes! It's never going to be something to do on the cheap but we felt we got excellent value for money. It seemed there is nothing Josh doesn't know about the birds and animals found at Tarangire, Lake Manyara and the Ngorogoro Crater. His ability to spot the tiniest bird or the tallest giraffe hiding deep under cover is incredible. His eagle eyes meant we didn't miss a thing. Thanks so much for the most unforgettable trip and if you are reading this, just go ahead and book a trip. You won't regret it for a minute.

About: Fede Tours
A tour operator taking good care of his customer
5/5

I had a great time on that tour. They tried to understand what I was looking for and tried to adapt the tour so it best fit my preferences. Also they replied fast to any questions I had before the tour started.

Best hoiliday, wonderful experience and great organisation
5/5

I loved my hoiliday to Uganda. I did a 9 day safari and by booking my hoiliday with Mambo Gorilla safaris I was helping to change the lives of children attending Loving Hearts Primary School. Didan was so passionate about making a difference to these children and I found visiting the children in their school very moving. The team were amazing. Charity was an inspirational lady and our driver, Agrey was so calm, chilled and reliable. An amazing experience which has changed my life. Don’t wait - book your hoiliday now.

Trip of a lifetime
5/5

It was an experience I will never forget. Humala Lodge was a big highlight. It was so serene, so spiritual, so intimate, and the safaris were amazing. Cape Town was a blast. Joseph, our driver in Johannesburg went way above and beyond the call of duty. Tony in Cape Town was great. They couldn’t do enough for us. The whole tour was fabulous. The animals were center stage. Call Lucia Barnard at 941-212-0924 and tell her Paulette sent you. You won’t be sorry

Excellent service from Go Touch Down Tours
5/5

We went to a presentation given by Go Touch Down Tours on traveling to South Africa. This covered Tours in Cape Town and Johannesburg, including daily safaris.
On our way I told my wife I wasn’t so sure about a trip to Africa.
The presentation was so inspiring that half way though I leaned to my wife and said we should go.
We decided to take advantage of their offers and we booked both Cape Town and Johannesburg.
I can honestly say that the presentation was great but everyone, from the office to the guides, went way beyond to make this the most enjoyable and memorable experience anyone could have.
5 stars all the way!
We are still in contact with our guides, ( now very good friends) and some of the people we were on tour with.

Amazing safari experience! Kenya and Tanzania - 9 days.
5/5

Me and my friend choose 9 day Kenya and Tanzania budget Safari tour with Baboon Budget Safari in June (2019). We choose Baboon Budget Safari based on our own web searching. We were looking for a budget safari and other than the price, deciding factor was Dennis. Denis’s super-fast responses and detailed information to our questions, helped us in deciding to go with Baboon Budget Safari.

From the time Bonfears picked us from Nairobi airport until we were dropped off at the airport after the safari, everything was superbly organized and our time was well managed and spent throughout our stay. Our overall experience was beyond our expectation. With very friendly and professional nature of all we encountered in Kenya and Tanzania, we felt at very ease and comfortable during our stay in both Kenya and Tanzania. Special thanks to Bonfears in this regard!

Added bonus for us was the migration just started in Masai Mara with animals in abundance and as far as we can see. Experience in Masai Mara in Kenya was a unique one with variety of animals with some of rare views thanks to Amnbrose who took us for game viewing in Kenya. He was always on listening on radio for interesting situations and rushing to provide us with the best possible viewing. Thank you, Ambrose!
Based on the web reviews, we expected some challenges in Tanzania but may be thanks to our perfectly aligned stars it was a smooth sailing. Silvia who coordinated in Tanzania side was always in contact with us ensuring all our needs are met and had perfectly coordinated the trip from the start to the end.

We had unique experience in Serengeti, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Cater with the beautiful scenic view and unique game viewing experience that will be with us for years to come. Thet were very different and we recommend all three. Deo who took us for game viewing in Tanzania was extremely professional and friendly and our sincere thanks to Deo.

Our experience was not limited to game viewing and it was a learning experience to know the culture of Kenya and Tanzania and its amazingly friendly people. We will certainly go again and until that time thanks to all who made us the trip so amazingly worthwhile.

Regards

Kusum and Ediri

The Wisconsin Dells of Safari operators - a bit of what was promised, but not much. Disappointed.
2/5

My wife and I completed the 5 day Kruger safari. We are seasoned safari tourists and have been blessed to go on safari in Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania. We have never been left dissatisfied until now. The accommodations were fine and the food was as well. But that’s not why most of us go on safari – it is the game drives after all.
Every game drive was shorter than advertised. Day one night drive was two hours instead of three. Day two four-hour Bush walk was just one hour of bush walking. When we got in the vehicle, we were told it was really just three hours including drive time there and back but overall it was about 2.5 hours. Worse, the 3 hour afternoon game drive started an hour late and was only two hours. Also, how many tourists who spend thousands to come all the way to South Africa really want to receive a pitch to allow elephant culling when they are viewing elephants? We've gone from 600,000 elephants to 450,0000 in seven years according to the 2015 Great Elephant census across the continent. We are in the midst of elephant genocide. We see our first elephant and the arrogant young guide starts talking about culling them and feeding the meat to local villages. Not exactly what we expected to hear. Day three - all day at Kruger National Park - no complaints. But geez, we thought this was a 5 day Kruger trip. Only one day was spent there – the rest in reserves, some of which allow hunting. Day 4 - a major disappointment. The Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre did not espouse conservation. In addition to culling and legal ivory sales, we were told that rhino horn should be legalized to discourage the black market. Really? Rhino horn? I still can't believe we heard that. Back to Mark's Camp by noon. Yummy lunch. But no afternoon game drive. Our itinerary showeda 3 PM drive. Nope due to reserve restrictions, it was a 5 pm drive. Actually 530 as driver had to wait for more customers coming in from Johannesberg. Big difference in night drives versus day drives – photos aren’t good at night, and many animals are stressed especially since it is a hunting reserve. This last drive was also just two hours. Driver didn’t speak to us, and drove incredibly irresponsibly into a thicket of acacia thorn trees in the dark. I was actually injured and had to get antibiotics for a needless eye injury. Last day we spent $400 to spend the entire afternoon at Mark’s Camp. Pathetic. We did our own bush walk that was longer than the ones Viva did. And we didn’t need guns.
My advice is focus on quality game drives. No bait and switch on what you advertise. There are far better safari companies in Africa. I highly recommend Kenya’s Gametrackers for a genuine safari experience or any Exodus trip. Very disappointed. Emailed owner of Viva safaris and no resolution. Don’t get suckered.
