We took our balloon ride over the Maasai Mara National Reserve and saw the migration as well as many lions. The Maasai Mara is a huge park with bad roads but the animals were great and we saw a Maasai tribe as well.

We rented bikes to ride in, entrance fees for non-Kenyans are way too high! Bikes were not safe, however, sand on the road and no tread on the tires of the bikes. Hike in to the Devil's Bedroom was more than I was ready for, but beautiful once we got there.

Going to Kenya was a grand adventure!
We booked our trip with O.T. of Kenya Walking Survivor Safaris. O.T. and I exchanged many emails prior to the visit and we got everything set up just as we wanted it. We were met at the airport and stayed a couple days in Nairobi prior to going out on the road with Albert. We felt very safe with Albert at all times and he was attentive to what we wanted to see and do. August was a great time to go to Kenya, temperatures were very pleasant. We saw the entire Big 5! We also visited a couple tribes and an orphanage. There was one issue with a lodge, which I think O.T. has now taken care of and we were refunded for the part we overpaid for it. Bottled water was provided for us the entire journey and we got boxed lunches daily from the lodge when we were on the road. We took a hot air balloon ride which was spectacular, followed by a lovely breakfast set up in the bush. What an experience!

An Amazing experience in Botswana and Namibia - thanks to Gondwana Tours
My wife and I worked with Mark Hathaway to set up a three week tour that started in Botswana and ended in Namibia. It was one of the most wonderful experience of our lives. Gondwana Tours really worked with us to tailor the trip to our needs and the whole trip was a blast. We especially want to thank Mark Hathaway. He was incredibly patient and knowledgeable and worked with us to get the tour details right. He was also extremely patient with our countless questions and his suggestions were spot on. These guys know their job.
Everything was well organized and ontime. Rose, the tour operator, was very responsible and helpful. She will help you to find and organize proper safari for your dates.There was a good communication about the trip, that means a lot. The driver, Richard, is just the best. He was caring about our group like his own children. He knows all the park so we managed to see The Big Five. I stayed in a budget tent where was shower with hot water that not all the camps provide. Every day there was different selection of dishes for dinner. Camp staff really tries its best for the guests. I can't complain at all about accommodation as I think you get even more for your money. The most important is your understanding that you are not in 5 star hotel and just next to the national reserve. In general, I had a great experience with Hyrax Safari.

Between the time we booked and the actual safari some things were changed but they worked out in our favor. If you want o see the Olduvai Gorge make sure that he knows that as we had to take a detour to see it. It is worth seeing as the museum is completed and you can visit the ruins.

Mussa is the Safari!
As first Mussa reply all my emails and questions. We plan easily our Safari with some changing in the standard tour (Mussa is very responding). About safari tour he looked for the best place and animals talking about the story of the park and the habit of each animal. We highly recommend Mussa and Roam Serengeti Safari!

Ken was an excellent driver and very knowledgable guide in the Masai Mara National park.
We stayed at the Explore Mara nature lodge which was a very nice experience. We wanted to have a more true Kenyan experience, less of the feeling of a "hotel chain " experience. Good kenyan food, Clean "tent", very local decoration. Much more interesting than other lodges I've been staying at.
