Exceptional safari experience, surpassing all expectations
TLDR: you won’t be disappointed if you choose Amazing Memories, don’t forget to ask for Musa as your safari guide!!!
We spent a lot of time researching which safari operator to choose, and it wasn't easy to decide, especially being on the other side of the world and hearing about potential scams. In the end, we chose Amazing Memories, and it turned out to be the best decision.
Starting with the organization: we left things a bit last minute, finalizing everything just a few weeks before our trip. But Neville, our safari organizer, was incredibly responsive, informative, and quick to support. He suggested alternative hotel options when needed and was flexible when I wanted to adjust the itinerary to include different/additional stops. One thing I really appreciated was the 25% deposit requirement (compared to the 50-75% other operators often ask for), and we received clear invoices and payment confirmations, which gave us peace of mind.
When we arrived, Neville went the extra mile by personally meeting us at the hotel, along with our safari guide, Musa. Now, Musa—calling him the perfect guide would be an understatement. He did everything humanly possible to make sure we had a great time and experienced everything a safari in Kenya had to offer. With 20 years of experience, he was an expert at spotting rare animals and you could tell he was passionate about his job, which is always great to see. He was incredibly attentive, never forgetting any special requests, and even arranged extra activities for our final day when we had a late flight.
Musa, thank you for creating memories that will last a lifetime. We feel so lucky to have had you as our guide, and we couldn’t be more grateful.
During our 5-day safari, we saw all the animals we had hoped for, leaving us more than satisfied. The accommodations were exactly as described, and kudos to Neville again for organizing everything so smoothly.
I highly recommend Amazing Memories for your safari adventure, and if you can, request Musa as your guide! If you have any questions or need more details, feel free to email me—I’m genuinely happy to recommend them!

Experienced tour operator, good guides, good accommodation.
A friend and I were on safari for 4 days. The guides were good to very good. They were very eager to show us many animals and explain a lot. The accommodation in the camp was very good. The cabins had everything you need and were very clean. Unfortunately, the pool was only half filled with unclean water. We didn't use it.
The price-performance ratio was right for me and we always felt safe in the camp thanks to the Maasai, even when one night the monkeys roared very loudly because a leopard was hunting.
We did the safari 3 times in the 4 days, the boat tour and the hike through the bush which was more of a 2 hour walk. But: we learned a lot about the Maasai.
The people at the reception were very friendly and helpful and in the restaurant and bar you immediately felt at home as everyone was so friendly. All in all a very good stay!
Very bad experience
In general, terrible organization. Only after we paid the deposit they told us that the chosen structure was not available and they proposed a tented camp far from the luxury we had paid for. The guide was terrible

Perfect days exploring the nature of Rwanda & Uganda - HIGHLY recommend :-)
Me and my friend travelled from Germany to Kigali and felt welcomed from the first minute.
We booked a 4-day Gorilla tour including some nature highlights of Rwanda and Uganda.
Andrew was our guide.
Bonny, the owner of Likana Safaris, also joined us on the tour.
Both were really cool and friendly guys.
They explained us a lot about the African life and culture and we had a wonderful time together .
On the first day, you visit the Genocide memorial in Kigali and drive to Volcanoes National Park, where you visit the Gorilla information center giving you a chance to learn more about this amazing creatures .
The drive from Kigali is very scenic.
The second day includes a trek to see Golden Monkeys, which are super cute and provide a good warm-up for the Gorillas on Day 3.
Gorilla trekking itself is in Uganda, meaning that you cross the border on the second day.
Undoubtely, the Gorilla trekking was the highlight of the tour. Going deeper and deeper into the jungle and finally getting the chance to see these friendly and fascinating animals in their natural habitat is a once in a lifetime experience, which is definitely worth the high permission rates (800$).
The rest of the tour you spend on Lake Bunyonyi, which gives you the opportunity to relax and see some nice Ugandan sceneries.
All in all, these 4 days were one of my all-time favorite travel experiences .
Worth mentioning are also the lodges where you sleep which all have a beautiful location in the middle of the nature .
What I highly appreciate is that although everything was perfectly organized, it never felt like a guided tour. More like a trip together with African friends.
Thank you to Likona Safaris for introducing us to your culture and showing us the Heart of Africa (Rwanda) as well as the Pearl of Africa (Uganda)!!!!

Excellent safari tour
Both the accommodation and the tour were excellent and a good value for money. Joe, the driver/guide took us exactly to the place were we could see the animals clearly. The two of us had our private jeep which was very comfortable. We had a wonderful time in Tanzania.

A wonderful trip except for being asked to buy gifts for the agency
We chose a three-day safari trip from Arusha, venturing deep into the Serengeti Plains and exploring Ngorongoro Crater. Our guide was particularly experienced and attentive, making our trip even more enjoyable. Overall, the arrangements were great.
There was just one thing, our travel agent Kelvin kept asking us to give him gifts, and I'm not sure if it's a custom in their country or not.
Anyway, we brought a headphone from China for him. In China,we don't usually ask someone that we don't know well to do something for one's sake . I found this request for gifts a bit strange.
I think asking for gifts from clients makes us feel a bit bad, and I think the travel agency should strengthen its training for its employees.

The best tour operator in Uganda!
Kajie organized the most beautiful, perfectly-executed trip for me and my family. Highly recommend. We had the best time and everything was perfect. We were guided by Martin, who was incredible the whole time and it was really the trip of our lives!
