Highly Recommended
5/5

I will highly recommend Wild Gaze Safari to all travelers that want to have a remarkable trip to Tanzania. They organized a wonderful trip to Mikumi, Ruaha and Selous National Parks that we have just returned from. The trip was filled with exciting wildlife tracking in the reliable 4x4 jeep, boat trips along river Rufiji & Ruaha and walking excursions. I am happy that Wild Gaze Safaris is engaged in responsible tourism giving part of the proceeds to support education and women in the local communities. There are numerous highlights during the 6 days of our safari with Nurdin who is an expert safari guide and a humorous person.
Thank you Wild Gaze Safaris for an incredible time in Tanzania.

Helpful friendly professional - once in a lif time experience
5/5

During covid19 pandemic, i used their service in september 2020. From the beginning to the end, they are so friendly and helpful.
I talked with Martha, we managed to plan 6 days safari tour to Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli. Martha helped us a lot even before we arrive to Kenya, like visa process etc. During my stay i had my birthday, and they celebrated! Thank you again :)
Our driver and guide Mr Patrick is so professional and an experienced guide. During our trip with him i had an excellent time, i was able to see the big 5. He knows where to find animals, gives information about them, he has interesting stories about animals. We didnt follow the other vans, we had our path and our group trip became a private trip in the park without other buses. (By the way those vans are very useful and gives you a great 360 view! Not to forget we had enough water always.)
Neither dont panic, nor push him, he knows what he does.
They also take you from the airport and at the end leave you to the airport.
I recommend these friendly and helpful people to you! Dont hesitate to send them a message!

5 star operator and services
5/5

I work in kenya and i need to go for a safari before i return to my country!Paul helped plan our entire safari even during this season of COVID 19 when we thought of cancelling our trip he assured us that all the necessary measures will be taken for our safety during our trip. He responded to every email within 24 hours. We had many questions, requests, and customization for this trip and Africa Starpal delivered. All activities and accommodations we wanted for our safari were included making for a full itinerary of all experiences we sought after. Communication and organization is top notch. I would highly recommend Africa Starpal Tours & Safaris(K)because all of the thinking and planning was taken care of so we could focus in the upcoming trip.

About: Safarihub
Do not book with Safarihub
2/5

I do not recommend this company for many reasons.

1) They are not very good at responding to emails (this should have been my first sign to go with another company).

2) My safari experience (6-Day Kili Safari) guaranteed a 4x4 Land Cruiser. Instead, for my 6 day safari I was in different dilapidated, falling apart 4x4 vans.

3) I was given hardly ANY information on my safari. So little information that when I actually arrived in Kenya, instead of going to Amboseli, then Naivasha, and then Masai Mara, they reversed the itinerary. Not a big deal except I sent my detailed itinerary to my employer (for security) and my family so they knew how to contact me. I did not realize the change until I was literally in the van on Sunday morning driving to Masai Mara. Although I was picked up at my hotel early Sunday morning for the start of my safari, I was never, ever given any information on the safari, the itinerary, the drive times, lunch plans, etc. I can't iterate enough how in the dark was at all times. I would attempt to ask the guide but he always seemed clueless as to what was happening.

4) Although I booked with Safarihub, a Kenya subcontractor actually handled my safari. Although they weren't terrible, they weren't great either. On one day I was shuffled between 3 different vans and 3 different companies to try to get me from Masai Mara to Naivasha. When I booked this safari for a good amount of money, I assumed I would be dealing with one company and one guide the whole time. I was very mistaken. Had I been given a heads up, I would have been better prepared. But on one of the days, I kept being shuttled between different people and different vans and it made me very uncomfortable, especially as a solo traveler. The guide could not even tell me how I was getting to Masai Mara to Naivasha the day before I was supposed to go there because he said his boss hadn't figured it out yet!

5) The morning I was picked up to begin my safari adventure, I was told we would all meet at Somak Lounge. Wrong! Instead I was taken to a street in downtown Nairobi and put in another van. No briefing, no food, no drinks, no lounge, just straight into a random van to start our journey. I was already pretty apprehensive due to the recent terrorist threats. Having me driven to a random street in downtown Nairobi without any check-in or anything was pretty scary. Basically, everything that was promised to me did not happen, except the lodging and parks (which were all amazing!!!).

6) I had been provided a detailed itinerary with the plans each day. That was complete BS. We never once followed the itinerary - in fact, the sub contracting company said they were never provided with my itinerary so had no idea I had been promised certain things. For instance, I was supposed to make it to Amboseli in time for an evening game drive - never happened. I was supposed to have early morning game drives followed by breakfast back at the lodging - never happened, not once. In their defense, two of the 6 days we had 10 hour game days so didn't have time to come back for breakfast or lunch but it would have been nice to know that was the plan beforehand. Communication is key. Why promise me something if you don't intent to honor it?

7) My contract specifically states "We also take pride in our safari vehicle fleet, which is young (less than 3 years old) and well maintained; consequently, breakdowns and other mechanical complications while you are on safari will be rare." This is a complete lie. The vans we were in were extremely old and falling apart. On the drive from Naivasha to Amboseli, our van broke down and we were stuck on the side of the road for over an hour. It would have been longer but a nice driver from another safari company (Jockey - the guests in that van recommended their company) gave me a ride to Amboseli Sopa Lodge (2 hrs away). Also, while on safari in Masai Mara our van broke down but I think they may have had something to do with stopping so much to look at animals so I can't fault them for that.

8) Each morning (except for the last 2 mornings) the guides were at least 25 mins late to pick me up. As mentioned above, I had so many different guides and van drivers that it was hard to keep them straight. However, my last guide/driver (Francis) was AWESOME and the highlight of my whole trip! The rest were not good at all.

9) In conclusion, I do not recommend Safarihub. I spent about $1,500 on this 6 day, 5 night Kili safari for a single traveler but it was such a logistical nightmare and communication was so bad with Safarihub, I do not recommend them. I do realize if I had paid more money, I probably would have gotten a better company, so if you are short cash, then I will say that nothing takes away from the animals and the Sopa Lodges - they both were fantastic. But you might want to think about looking at other companies if you can.

Worth every penny! Amazing Journey through Tanzania
5/5

Our recent trip to southern Tanzania was perfect arrangement with 3 days in Selous followed by 1 day Mikumi ending with 4 days in Ruaha guided by the most professional guide Ernest. We got to experience uncharted territories in Tanzania secluded from huge crowds. We saw all the big five, numerous birds and different habitats ranging from the lush green dense forests and waterways of Selous to the dry woodlands savanah in Ruaha.
Accommodations were a mix of camping and lodges and very exclusive. I definitely recommend trying Ruaha Hill View Lodge for a truly wild lodging experience accompanied by excellent dining in Ruaha.

Trip of my dream
5/5

11 days of travel: climbing Mount Meru - three days, climbing Mount Kilimanjaro - 5 days, safari - 3 days. Philip and his Team have handled this task flawlessly. Meeting at the airport, transfers, accommodation at the hotel and loggias during the ascents, meals, luggage escort, constant feedback, flexibility in changing the schedule of planned events - everything was implemented at a high level! Philip is a dedicated, strong responsible leader, for whom the client's trust is the main value, and he deserves it 100%! I recommend to all!

Amazing holiday of alifetime
5/5

With covid-19 pandemic ravaging the world, we decided to travel to Africa for our anniversary after the reopening of airports in most countries globally and Uganda was our desired destination. We searched around for our trip management company and Mukisa Safaris emerged as our company of choice. We're extremely happy that we chose Mukisa Safaris. The company exhibited much professionalism during our trip organization and execution. During the pre-trip communication, Richard was exceedingly helpful and would reply very promptly to our queries. On arrival at the airport, we were picked amidst observing the SOPs directly to our booked hotel where we started off our safari in the morning. We visited several places including Murchison falls, Kibale Forest and Bwindi and we were in the company of our guide Veronica and John. These two are wonderful and amazing people. They were so friendly, courteous and professional. Veronica was so knowledgeable about Uganda and her knowledge about birds and all the animals was breathtaking. Ugandans are loving and kind. They made our stay in Uganda so memorable. I highly recommend Mukisa Safaris.

Once in a lifetime trip
5/5

From start to finish our experience with Ngoni Safaris was seamless. Every detail was taken care of, and we didn’t need to worry about a thing. Ben and Sedrick were wonderful hosts and tour guides, both hugely knowledgeable about their country. It truly was a once in a lifetime experience meeting the gorillas in Bwindi, along with four babies, and we had an exhilarating ride down the Nile on a white water raft !! Thank you so much Ngoni !!
