Beyond Our Expectations
We spent 8 fantastic days in Kenya and we had the most amazing trip. It will stay in our memory for a very long time as the highlight of our African trip. Sammy seemed to find animals everywhere and looked after us superbly. We can’t wait to come back to Kenya.

We just returned from our third safari organized by Sun Safaris and it was exceptional. We traveled with 15 of our friends (half of whom had never been to Africa) and all of us had a 100% fabulous time. The staff at all 3 Lodges recommended by Michelle were great, friendly and fun to be with and the rooms were all wonderful. One of our friends had an issue with their room in the second lodge but Michelle and the lodge sorted it and all was fine. All it took was a text message to Michelle and the issue was resolved....that is customer service!
We stayed at Umkumbe, Xanatseni and Elephant Plains as suggested and all were really wonderful. My wife and I agree Elephant Plains is our new favorite. The staff was over and above wonderful, the food and service was best of all three ( and all were great) and we had by far the best game viewing there. On our last night game drive their staff met us in the bush at sunset with champagne...a wonderful surprise and a great way to end our final night.
As we experienced on our two previous safaris organized by Sun Safari the selection of lodges and recommendations were spot on. The pre arranged shuttle services and in country flights went off without a hitch. I can only give Sun Safari a 10 out of 10 because just everything was perfect! Thank to Michelle for all of her help as we gathered 17 folks over time to pull this off. Sun Safari's staff are really the best! I believe we have a few more Africa converts now.
We highly recommend Sun Safari to anyone planning a trip to Africa.

Reliable and Good
I used Destination Jungle while travelling to Uganda. I had constant communication with Constatino from booking to journey. I was a single woman travelling by myself and felt comfortable and safe with his guide/driver. I would have liked better accomodations but I dont think at the time they were available. I would absolutely use them. I thought the dollars spent was well worth what they delivered and then some. They can certainly use me as a reference in the US.

Edson and his team were top-notch and I could not recommend them more highly. As a documentary crew from Canada, we have lots of needs when it comes to travel and Encounter made the process painless. They were always available to help us with any issue that arose and dealt with them with efficiency and grace.
We filmed in Kibale National Park for 14 days, and Encounter Africa Safaris were there to assist us from the moment we landed right through to when we left.
I have worked with several safari booking companies and film fixers in East Africa, and this was an extremely pleasant experience and I would not hesitate to work with Encounter again.

Our very high expectations on the trail in general was fulfilled in total.
As we described above this was truly an experience in our taste. We have really no complaints on anything. Besides the riding as such, scenery, staffs excellent competence we particularly want to emphasize Reynes marvelous cooking. The only factor I personally (Bo) could have some minor comment on is that, as in most instances with horses used for trails, they are somewhat insensitive to equestrian shows (riders use of legs, weight, and reins) thus developing bad habits that needs professional training to eliminate (insensitiveness to sidemoving and driving shank and weightshifting plus tendency to pulling of reins). This is however a common problem in general and not any particular problem for the Namibian Horse Safari Company as it goes for all trail-riding companies and time available for daily obedience training of horses.

Our guide Nickson was amazing - super friendly and knowledgeable, and made the trip a lot of fun! The food was also decent, and the tents and bedding were clean and comfortable. The animals also did not disappoint!

This is an small company run by Phillimon, a tourist guide born and grown up in the Delta region, who has many years of experience in safaris and an excellent knowledge of the area. I recently travelled to the Delta with my wife and they organized a great 6-day mobile safari for us including a range of activities (mokoro, walking, river boat, plane). They were very helpful trying to adjust to our special needs and requests and to do the bes of our trip. As many lodges and resorts in the area are owned by foreign firms or people, booking with local companies is a way to enhance empowering of local residents as well. I recommend Walking Stick for mobile safaris in the delta.

We (I and my three friends) arrived in Arusha without booking any tour with any agency since we wanted to get different options from different tour operators. After a long such of different tour agency we ended up at Angose travel limited . Mariam the manager was very kind and professional. She gave us different options of itenaries of which all of them were exciting. she made sure we got all the information right. We booked for a four days safari which went to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro.
Our driver cosmas was very experienced and knew very good command of English which made it easier for us to understand his expalination when sporting an animal. He had very good sight of spoting animals and he knew so much about all the animals in the parks. I can say he Is over professional.
The cook Esmail was extra ordinary. All the meals prepared was fresh and testy. The vegan option was aminzing since one of us was vegan. He always made sure that we eat on time. I would surely rember his cooking.
I would recommend this company to anyone that is looking for excellent experience in Africa and a good taste of food while in the adventure.
