Leave Uganda with amazing experiences and a new friend
5/5

My experience with my guide Kiliza (Ronnie) as my guide was honestly one of the best experiences of my life. As a single older women I was nervous to travel alone in Uganda but from the warm smile at the airport greeting to the moment he dropped me at the airport I felt safe, respected and never alone. After only a short time we were friends sharing many laughs and amazing experiences. The Ugandan people were warm and welcoming and my animal experiences were 2nd to none. I couldn’t recommend Ronnie and this safari company more highly.

The were really exceptional from the start to finish, knowledgeable and attentive to details.
5/5

In may this year I visited Tanzania as it was my first time and it honestly felt incredible whereby I explored the Serengeti and Tarangire and later went to Tanzania island Pemba. This is to share my emotions with you folks out there as I assure this tour exceeded my expectations in different ways

I'd say this tour had been well-organized and detailed with vehicles being comfortable along with Daudi John our guide by quite good knowledge of the Serengeti and history, he really ensured me and my son had fantastic experience. We saw an abundance of wildlife even though I was born in Sierra Leon before moving to the US but never wittinessed how blessed Africa is wow! The scenery was astounding.

Our guide really had good qualities knowledgeable, professional, and
passionate best on history, geology, and wildlife behavior. Witnessing lions, leopards, elephants, and giraffes in their natural habitat was unforgettable. Also the Maasai community with their ancient culture is so satisfying to see. If you're a nature lover or adventure seeker, this is the destination that should be at the top of your bucket list! Thank you!

Awesome Safari Adventure
5/5

Can’t say enough about Wild Wings Safaris and the trip they put together for all 11 of us. I contacted 5 other safari companies and not one came close to the professionalism and responsiveness of Wild Wings. And the itinerary developed and the lodging quoted, we knew we made the right choice.

And looking back on the trip, we had no issues or glitches along the way. And I can’t speak more highly of the lodging our Tour Consultant, Tanja, set up. The people working at these places were exceptional. And a shout out to Baobab Ridge Private Lodge near Kruger. A truly hidden gem!

I could go on and on, but let’s just say, thanks to Wild Wings, what a trip of a lifetime we had.

Unforgettable tour in the Serengeti! Very experienced tour guide, very good service and incredible opportunity to see all the animals we wanted to see. Incredible overall experience. Lodges that we stayed in were very good, and all of the services included were impeccable.

If you really want to see some animals - just choose Mali Kale Safari!
5/5

I'd like to start with the statement that Richard's knowledge was mind-blowing. I don't know if I can that freely drive and know every corner of my home city, like he knew every corner of each park. Of course this resulted in seeing many awesome animals, as Richard knew exactly where to find them. Moreover, he is very observant. The most incredible was fact that he could spot a leopard on a tree from ~2 km distance (we could hardly see it through binoculars).
Richard was very professional and responsible, he took care of everything from the moment when we started our safari in Nairobi to the very end when the driver left us on a last day in Nairobi. He cared so we are everywhere on time, he was very dedicated to work. Richard also has huge knowledge about animals, he could say many interesting things about every animal we've found (or rather he's found ;)). As a Pole I can't also not add that he learnt some Polish, so he was able to tell us names of different animals in our language which I appreciated a lot :)
To sum up, I can recommend Richard as a great safari guide. When going with him you won't be disappointed.

Incredible experience
5/5

Me and my partner had the most incredible time !
From the beginning of first contact to the end we were looked after by ramja.
We had the most unforgettable experiences we have ever had .
We had Sammy as our driver, who is an absolutely amazing man, who we felt was family by the end

The days are so jam packed that you feel like you've had multiple days in one, but also very relaxed .. its as if time doesn't apply.

If you're looking to book a safari, look no further than ramja

Brilliant local company that excelled on every level.
5/5

We booked with Eco-Africa to climb Kilimanjaro. the following review is from that experience.

Who are we?
We were team AUG (Instagram page). Prior to booking this trip we had never heard of Eco-Africa.

Our criteria for booking a company to climb Kili, was for the company to be a KPAP member and a local business from Tanzania. The rest of it was dates that lined up and professional communication.

We arranged everything with Frederick online, paid the deposit, flew into Tanzania and from that moment on we were treated like rock stars. The whole team, 2 guides, chef and 10 porters were enthusiastic, fun, approachable, fit and keen to make us feel welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The porters are not just porters, they all have their own specific jobs including Matthew our "waiter' who woke us each morning with hot coffee and was a smiling face at every meal.

Each day we were given a briefing and had a health check completed. Both morning and again every evening.
Prior to leaving camp each morning we knew what to expect and how the day would go.

The food was next level, silver plater service, incredibly tasty and plenty of it.

On summit day, one of us suffered some nausa from the altitude and upon reaching the summit, chose to descend quickly. Eco-Africa sends 2 guides plus an additional experienced porter to the summit so there is flexibility for 2 to assist with the descent, leaving 1 to come down slowly with the remaining client. We saw a few companies with 1 guide and 1 climber struggling to descend quickly as there was no additional support.

Following the end of the climb were taken back to town to shower before being collected for a ceremony back at the office. There was a table on he lawn where we celebrated, enjoyed a last meal together and presented the tips to each member of the team. Some companies do a quick hand over of tips in the carpark with no chance to say thanks and finish on a good note.

A long review but to finish up, Thankyou Eco-Africa and for anyone looking for a great local company, these guys hit the mark on every occasion.

5* Safari
5/5

Brilliant safari from start to finish. Our lodge accommodation was lovely. Toilets, showers and comfy beds. One lodge even added hot water bottles to the beds to stop us getting chilly. The food was brilliant. Hot lunch everyday and a 3 course meal every evening. They were able to accommodate our tricky gluten free and vegetarian diets. Mandela our tour guide was very knowledgeable and we were able to see the big 5 and more! He also accommodated extra toilet stops which was a big worry knowing we'd be in the jeep for long periods. We all had a window seat in the jeep and Mandela ensured we all had a view of the animals. Fantastic trip thank you very much Suricata safaris we would 100% recommend you to our friends and family. This tour we definitely value for money but don't forget to budget for the tips.

Fantastic safari, extremely well organised. We were lucky enough to see the Big Five thanks to our brilliant guide Mandela. Catered to gluten free (I am coeliac) and vegetarian diets. Food was delicious. All suricata staff have been lovely and very accomadating. Can't fault this tour, would highly recommend - we have had an unforgettable trip!

Superb Suricata Safari!
5/5

Incredible experience with Suricata Safari from start to finish! Everything was excellently organised and all of our requests were dealt with, including provided gluten-free and vegetarian food options.
Our guide Mandela was amazing, very accommodating and knowledgeable and always able to put us in the perfect spot for photos - we were able to see the big five and so much more!
Unbelievable food provided throughout from Saleem (cooked local food provided for lunch whereas other tours has sandwiches!)
Ilfam also took us on a brilliant Materuni waterfall and coffee excursion and was a great guide, before dropping us back at the airport.
Also great service from Daniel and Mr.T
Highly recommend Suricata Safari!
