Great service and good knowledge about the destination.
5/5

I received great service right from the start, from answering all my queries to having a great time on my first safari tour as promised. Every little detail was taken care of, right from my accommodation to meals and transfers, the itinerary did help me experience Kenya in a fun way. I cannot thank Active Holiday Company enough for making the trip so easy for me and the experience was one I would not mind reliving.

Unique and totally enjoyable cultural and holiday experience
5/5

Communications were extremely efficient and we appreciate that you ensured clarity in response to all of our queries. Your service was aligned in response to our requirements, the holiday exceeded our expectations and the safari was a once-in-a-lifetime experience with memories which we both treasure. Thank you African Ubuntu - you proved that you could always go the extra yard and we thoroughly recommend your service and thoughtful extras, like the wonderful coffee table book which we greatly appreciate. We would definitely use your service again if and when we return to Africa.

Fantastic trip to Masai Mara!!
5/5

We could not have wished for a better trip to the Masai Mara with Great Horizon Trails! From the moment we entered the park there was an abundance of wildlife and our expert driver and naturist was so knowledgeable and gave us a lot of interesting information. He had a very keen and eye and seemed to be able to see creatures from miles away. We saw all of the Big 5 and many other animals too. Our camp was great and the food was amazing. We certainly didn't go hungry! Overall an absolutely fantastic Safari trip creating some amazing memories. Thank You!

re Visit to African Game Lodges
5/5

Ubuntu were very helpful in providing alternative proposals to visit Game Lodges in Zambia/Chobe and Kruger park at quite short notice. We opted for Kruger Park because the weather there suited our timing for a visit to South Africa . Ubuntu reserved two lodges for us and arranged air transfers to and from Johannesburg and between parks. They also arranged for a representative to meet us in Johannesburg to familiarise ourselves with the transfer arrangements.
The Lodges were both excellent as was the game viewing. The air transfers all went as arranged.
We were very happy with the service provided.

Great safari, average food, poor accommodation..
2/5

The driver who picked us up from Dar and stayed with us the whole trip was a good, safe driver who really did an effort to make sure we had a satisfying safari tour.
The accommodation where we stayed the first two nights, cottage in Mikumi, was very poor (shower didn't work, room wasn't really clean, some windows did not have curtains, AC only worked 10% of the time) but the view was amazing. The food they served was average, if there was any. After our morning drive we only got an egg for breakfast... So our driver took us somewhere else for lunch, which was great, the food was really good and we had a fantastic view over the wildlife park.
The accommodation in which we were supposed to stay in Udzungwa appeared to be fully booked (how is that possible when you book your tour two months in advance??), but luckily they were able to place us in Hondo Hondo instead of a downgrade hotel they offered us at first. Hondo Hondo is great place to stay!
The safari's we did during the first three days and the hike in Udzungwa on the fourth day were perfect! We saw all animals you hope to see on a safari and the view on the hike was amazing (good knowledgeable guide as well)!
Overall we feel like we have paid way too much for this tour and would not recommend to book your safari's with Gombe unless they give a 50% discount on their price or give you some sort of a guarantee to arrange proper accommodation.

This trip with Viewpoint Adventures was absolutely phenomenal, and I can not stop talking about it.
5/5

Tanzania is a wonderful country that everyone should take the time to visit in their lifetime. I felt extremely safe and welcomed by everyone. The people there, as well as the service, are just incredible! Through this trip and the various activities we were able to take part in, I learned all about the history and culture of Tanzania, and really got to know the locals. I loved this trip especially because of the completely new (to me) environment and way of life, and I loved that I was constantly asking questions and wanting to know more! Viewpoint Adventure's tour guides are top of the line, extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, and charismatic. They were able to answer all of the questions I had throughout the trip as well as teach me so much more about this wonderful country, the people, and all of the amazing wildlife we were able to see up close!! I would give Viewpoint Adventures a 10 stars out of 5 if I could, for their outstanding service and an absolutely unforgettable trip! If you're at all considering booking a trip to TZ through Viewpoint Adventures....GO FOR IT! I can promise you will not be disappointed!!

About: Victoria Falls
Review about Victoria Falls by Bill Snypes

4/5

We were in Victoria Falls at the end of the dry season, and the falls were low, but still very impressive. Victoria Falls in a town, so there is not that much wildlife walking around. However, one evening returning from the Zambezi River, near the town, we encountered a group of elephants eating vegetation by the road. The wildlife is not very far away anywhere in Zambia.

A rugged place with beautiful rivers.

4/5

My wife and I went in November at the beginning of the rainy season. The weather was generally good, and not too hot. We saw a good number of animals, but with the coming rains they were often staying in the forest more. However, we did see cheetahs, lions, giraffes, hippos and a variety of birds. They come down to the river more during the dry season.

The river camp we were in was in a beautiful spot, with permanent tents and an open covered common area. The staff was very accommodating and the food was good. The guides tried very hard to find the animals for us to see, but they were scarce at times. We also cruised on the Kafue River and some people went fishing. The river was pristine and quite beautiful.

Very scenic, huge variety of wildlife, comfortable accommodations, good food.

Samburu National Reserve was a great park to visit. It's a little off the beaten path so we had the scenary and wildlife viewing more to ourselves. I saw a greater variety of wildlife in this park than in any other I visited. The accommodations at Samburu were comfortable, the food in the lodge was very good and overall, from my experience, I would highly recommend it as a place to visit.
