Amazing trip with Amaging driver
5/5

The driver "Patrick" of Jamboree took me to the amazing Safari trip. He was so professional to find many animals in Masai Mara. Also his skill to position a car at the best location for photo shooting is one of the best among many safari cars. I really appreciate not only his driving skill and knowledge about the Park and animal but also his hospitality. I fully recommend Jumboree travel to all travelers.

for the tour, i recommend to take 5 days tour including Lake Nakuru because i heard you can see rhino which you cannot see in Masai Mara. next time i will travel 5 days tour.

Spectacular Kenya!Exceptional Service!
5/5

The trip was fantastic! We had an excellent driver, Patrick!I
had the best guide/photographer in Hell's gate, James. And very
entertaining Nicholas for a boat ride in Lake Naivasha.

The country is breathtaking! I had never seen one as beautiful and as natural as Kenya!
I had seen wildebeests crossing the Mara River, the big 5, all the wild animals I only see on TV and
never even knew existed - Thumbs up to Patrick for his excellent driving skills!!The 2 nights stay in a tented camp in Masai Mara was the best experience and my favorite so far - I love the wilderness!^^
The people are also warm and accommodating, not to mention the beautiful men of Baboon Budget Safari who took care of everything exceeding my expectations! It was a budget travel. It wasn't a luxury safari yet it felt like one.^^*

Jobovic gave us the safari experience we imagined and more!
5/5

My husband and I arrived in Johannesburg with high expectations for our first African safari and I'm pleased to say that Jobovic Safaris far exceeded our expectations. During the booking process, Piet answered all of my questions in a timely manner and adequately prepared us for our trip. Once our tour began, it did not take long before we knew Jobovic Safaris would live up to its promise of warm hospitality, lots of adventure, and fun-filled days. Piet and Bryce make such a great team and always ensured we were happy, comfortable, and well-fed every step of the way. Piet is a wonderful driver and Bryce is a very knowledgeable tour guide. Plus, their passion for Africa's wildlife and culture shines brightly. We learned so much from them and appreciated every opportunity to partake in African traditions, such as a traditional Braai with pap and chakalaka. I simply cannot say enough positive things about Jobovic Safaris and would highly recommend booking with them. By the end of our trip, my husband and I knew we wanted to return someday and that is all because Piet and Bryce made our first experience so very enjoyable. Thank you, Jobovic Safaris, for an amazing trip with unforgettable memories!

4/5

i am happy with this tour...but we were 8 in our car..
our driver was very helpful..his name was Zac.he showed us the animals and showed their picture in his book...the only thing that i didnt like was Masai camp..the food and tents wasnt ok...i know that was a budget camp...but when i compare it to amboseli camp i think it was very bad...because amboseli camp was really clean...comfort with nice food. with 24 hours electricity!
i hope they can change the camp in Masai mara...

Memorable experience with excellent safari operator Jobovic
5/5

My african dream. Africa a continent where J dream of returning as soon as possible.
Thank to Jobovic Safaris, especially many thanks Piet and Bryce, for permission to make a memorable trip for me, Daniele and Laura. With us, there were also two American, wonderful and beautiful girls, Kim and Becky, who are travelling around the world, and we enjoyed a lot. Our 11 days tour of southern Africa Wildlife trail started from Johannesburg at 5 a.m. in a wonderful day. We arrived at Kruger Park and slept at Satara campsite, the day after we explored Kruger park up to the north (campsite Punda Maria ) which is a beautiful area, wildest , an one of the best place to see animals in many groups. We then crossed the border to Zimbabwe to find ourselves in the beautiful campsite Norma Jean’s. A magical place, English style , very refined and elegant. Breakfast from the lodge was memorable. The landscape seen from the lodge of lake Mutirikwe was enchanting. Then we visited the Zimbabwe ruins, one of the archaeological sites most famous in Africa. Heading north we put up our tents in the beautiful Antelope Park, a magical place where we found white horses, zebras and braziers always near the river. It was exciting the trip by boat on the river and saw a myriad of birds as the sunset. The next morning we visited Chipangali Park and we saw a lot of animals that have problems in nature.
In the afternoon we reached the overwhelming Ivory Lodge where we saw animals in their natural habit very close. The pool in front of the lodge was lit in the evening and we enjoyed a show of elephants like no others.
We then happily reached Victoria Falls, a unique show, in their full beauty thanks to the rainbow that day gave us. After crossing the border between Zimbabwe and Botswana we reached the incomparable Chobe Park where we put on our tents in an amazing campsite. The cruise boat and the game viewing met our expectations. We saw every type of animals: elephants , giraffes , impala , lions. hippos, crocodiles etc etc. Dinner and breakfast reserved for us at the restaurant of the lodge were fantastic.
On the way to Johannesburg we stopped at Napa and Palapye and we had the possibility to meet local people.
Special thanks to Jobovic Safaris which allowed us to make this journey, for all we have seen and learned of Africa, for the extraordinary sunrises and sunsets, for the chance to sleep under the starry sky of Africa in contact with wildlife, for all the breakfasts , brunches and dinners in campsite and in the most exclusive lodge.
Another big thank goes to Piet and Bryce who allowed my friend Laura, not in good standing with the visa for Zimbabwe, could return to Johannesburg from the border, and then retrieve her a few days later at Kasane airport in Botswana, so that she was allowed to complete her tour.
A big thank to Bryce’s mom who recovered Laura late night in Johannesburg and brought her to the Hotel.
Thank you very much Jobovic Safaris. J hope to see you soon.
J recommend Jobovic Safaris to everybody who wants to see Africa.
Lidia , Daniele and Laura.

Do yourself fervor and book Safaris with trip advisor Africa safaris!
5/5

This was fabulous trip from start to the end. I have to say we were a bit
apprehensive when initially booked with Trip advisor Africa safaris,
because it’s not a big travel company or household name. I have a feeling
that is going to change. Everyone that we dealt with was courteous and
professional. Our guide Jacob was absolutely fantastic. His main goal was
to make sure that we were able to see different animals while on game
drive. There was never request that he did not try to full fill and he was
never under any impression that he was out of impatient. He spent the
entire week driving us from Nairobi to Maasia mara, Lake Nauru &Lake
Naivasha. It was beyond our expectation in every way from food,
accommodation &to the entire beauty of Kenya. In deed its a trip advisor as
the name sugest.Thank you again for memorable experience with you,
particularly to Seth Vincent who arranged for us safaris and to the entire
staff.

Scam bookings - denied plane boarding, unpaid park fees, missed pick-up & briefing etc.
1/5

Do not take the chance to have the same terrible and costly experience we had with Mr. Steve Biko, Africa Remote Safaris! As of today, 1/6/2016, we have not been reimbursed for our additional expenses, US $ 4,461, which we occurred due to Steve Biko's continued failings, and have not heard back from Mr. Biko.
Our safari was scheduled, Aug. 16 - Aug. 22, 2015. Day 1, we were not picked up as scheduled in Nairobi to continue to Masai Mara. The hotel arranged for transfer to Wilson Airport and from there we flew to Masai Mara. Upon arrival and being greeted by our driver, we were told our park fees, driver and car fees had not been paid. After waiting around and phoning with Mr. Biko, we were off to go about 1 hour after arriving. Day 3 our scheduled balloon ride did not happen. Day 4 we were supposed to continue to Serengeti, and were denied boarding the SafariLink plane due to Mr. Biko had failed to pay for the tickets. On day 5 after not being able to leave our hotel due to Mr. Biko not paying for our lodging, our family of four had no other option than to change our itinerary for the remaining day's. This cost us an additional $4,461 for accommodation and flights, not to mention the time we missed actually being out seeing animals, and instead dealt with the many failings of Steve Biko and a police report encouraged my the Manager of our hotel, who wants this type of scoundrels out of the Kenyan travel industry. Throughout our safari when running into unpaid services, Steve Biko continuously asked us to pay in order to be reimbursed later - we did not as our safari was paid in full well in advance.
With the experience and knowledge I have today, my advice to you would be to organize your own safari. It might seem overwhelming, but you can book your flights and hotels directly, and arrange for a car with knowledgeable drivers with the hotel you are staying at. Enjoy your travels, and stay away from Steve Biko and Africa Remote Safaris.

This is a great Safari company and the service is wonderful. We are very satisfied!
5/5

This is a great Safari company and the service is wonderful. Four of us enjoyed the 10 days trip very much. The director Dennis Mwangangi is very nice and trustworthy. The driver guide Sami tried so hard to let us find all kinds of animals especially lions and other rare animals. We were so satisfied! The price they gave was very reasonable and much better than other companies. They spent hours to help us to design our trip. We would definitely recommend this company to all our friends in China!!!

Fantastic trip!!
5/5

My friend and I (2 single females) booked a 7 day gorilla trekking trip with Katona in December 2015. Our guide was Jack and I cannot say enough great things about him! He has worked all over Uganda so everywhere you go, he will know the people working there as he once worked there himself (including Queen Elizabeth, chimp tracking and gorilla trekking). So we were basically extremely well cared for:) On safari in Queen Elizabeth, he was in constant communication with people working there to know where all the lions were hanging out each day. He went above and beyond in making sure we had a great time, felt safe at all times, and were 110% satisfied. I would have no hesitation at all sending anyone to hang out with Jack for a week:)

Jackie was also phenomenal. I've never experienced having emails answered so promptly, she really must be at her computer at all hours of the day! She also called during our week of traveling to make sure that everything was going well with our tour.

The deposit has to be wire transferred, which is a bit different than how companies operate in the U.S. but it is just how things are done in Uganda. Everything was completely on the up and up, Jackie emailed me when she received the funds, and even provided a scanned copy of our gorilla trekking permits as soon as they were processed (the deposit is used primarily to immediately ensure you have permits for the day you are trekking).

In summary, Katona is a really really great company and allowed us to have a phenomenal experience in Uganda!!
