Magical Moments - Amazing Safari - Excellent Experience - incredible Service from Start to Finish
5/5

First of all we would like to say THANK YOU to all of the Guys from Meru Slopes - especially to
Geoffrey, Emanuel, Benson and Richard!

It was definitely more than we ever expected!

Review:
We have booked the Kilimanjaro Trek to Mandara Hut and a 6 Day Camping Safari (Trangire, Serengeti, Ngorogoro, Lake Manyara).
It was perfectly organized from the day of arrival to the day of departure.
Therefore it should be made particular mention to the Service.
The Crew from Mero Sloopes was very good and professional, from the pickup/drop off (Emanuel) and the preparations for the safari (Geoffrey) as well our Guide (Benson) and Chef (Richard).

Unforunaltey regarding the bad weather we had no view to the peak of the Kilimanjaro - therefore the tour was not worth it for us.

But our Safari was amazing! We were a group of five people and for this time it felt like we were a little family. Our Guide Benson had over 10 years of experience, and he knew everthing regarding the Flora and Fauna. We saw countless animals, including the big 5.

Our Chef Richard was also excellent! For the meals he prepared for us in only one word needed - DELICIOUS.

Conclusion:
Lake Manyara was our last Day and to be honest it wasn’t so good. We also visited a Massai Village. But there we felt uncomfortable.
We would recommend the other natitional parks especially Serengeti and Ngorogoro.

Best experience in my life!!
5/5

I spent almost 4 months in Uganda for work and I took the opportunity to visit this magnificent country in free moments. I immediately entrusted Elias and his staff and I have to say that I could not make a better choice.
Having also known other companies operating in Uganda I must say that Home to Africa is unrivaled.

We stayed at Murchison Park, in Jinja, Lake Mburo and ssipi falls and in each of these adventures we always found impeccable service. Everything is organized down to the smallest detail and even any contingencies are managed in the best way.

Elias and his staff are super nice and very available, and you immediately notice that they are driven by a great passion for their work.

The accommodations are the top that you can find in Uganda in terms of cleanliness and comfort.

I must say that I was really excited about how everything was organized and that for 4 months they really made me feel at home in a magnificent country.

I recommend it to everyone and especially to those who want to relax and enjoy nature without having to think about anything.

Amazing adventures with CATS Africa
5/5

This was an amazing adventure for us. We saw the Big Five and many other animals and places. We visited Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, and the Masai Mara. Our tour was organized professionally by the CATS Afrika. Everything went as planned. Big thanks for this to Joyce.
During our safari, our guide was Duncan, who is an experienced driver and he loves and knows the nature so much.
We highly recommend the CATS Afrika and Duncan, and we hope we will have a chance to come back sometime.

What we learned for the next time:
We selected the safari van for our tour, and it was the proper vehicle in Amboseli and in Lake Nakuru. In the Masai Mara the roads are extremely bumpy, so a Land Cruiser would be possibly better choice there.

An Experience for Lifetime....

It was an amazing experience with Lenchada Safaris. .
Since the first e-mail to drop off at hotel at the end of the tour everything was perfect .
On the way from Masai Mara to Nakuru we were taken to Lake Naivasa for a boat ride that was not included in our itineraries...so relaxing and enjoyable.
Tents and hotel was just as it was mentioned and simply perfect. Staff members of the tents were nice and cordial. Foods were fresh and good. Water bottles were adequate for all.

They were very caring and provided a personalized approach which was appreciated.
5/5

The personalized communication between us and Experience Uganda staff was exceptional. The tour driver/guide was caring and knowledgeable. The safari exceeded our expectations. The scenery, accommodation provided and our interaction with the staff at lodges, the local communities as well as our tour leader were outstanding.

We were able to see and interact with both gorillas and chimpanzees as well as experiencing true tropical rain forests. The bird life was also extensive and easily viewed.

In all - a wonderful experience.

Walking Stick are the Best!
5/5

Walking Stick a wonderful locally run company and Philmon and the team were fantastic, made my experience very special. Saw every animal you could wish for and with someone who really loves the bush which was a bit infectious! Every effort was made to make my trip wonderful, you will not be disappointed! No-one else had booked on the dates I was going so I ended up on a private safari which was amazing and unbelievably incredible value. Don't pay a bunch of money to stay in a foreign owned hotel, go for something authentic!

A unique encounter of wildlife and local culture
5/5

Phillimon was great with replying to emails quickly during the booking phase (the only delays were when he was driving a safari himself for a few days at a time). Using a money order as a form of payment seemed unusual but everything worked out fine. The car and crew picked us up at the airport and drove us back there with plenty of time, even if it meant that the crew had to wake up extra early to pack before a long drive back. The game drives were extensive and varied, and Phillimon was always going the extra mile to check spots where rare animals may be. And that's how we say 3 leopards (probably 2 different ones but one that we saw twice) in 4 days. Phillimon is a good tracker and is able to read the behavior of several animals as indicators of where the big cats are, while explaining to us what he is doing and his understanding of animal behavior. The tent accommodation was our best experience so far, with real beds, and en-suite toilet and shower in a fenced, private space, all that while camping 60 miles from the paved road: Real luxury while remaining simple. The food prepared by the cook was excellent and very hygienic. Breakfast, tea time and dinner were shared with the guide, which was the occasion for conversations about the local traditions, the use of plants, the Bushmen culture (the natives of this area who were traditionally hunter gatherers and have a profound knowledge of their environment), etc. A very unique experience, I totally recommend it!
