Review about Botswana by Jessica
Botswana seems to really understand conservation through eco-tourism. Our guides helped us understand and uphold the ethos, "take only photographs, leave only footprints," which enhanced not diminished our experience. I'd love to return.

Excellent Safari
When I imagined being out on a safari, I could not have imagined how incredible our driver Aroni would be. He was knowledgeable, friendly and worked extremely hard to ensure our group got the most out of our time. He explained so much about the animals, their behaviour, the challenges facing their species and so much more. We learned so much about the wildlife, and Kenya as a country.
The only disappointment was through no fault of Karibu our driver or anyone else. There are no more flamingos at Lake Nakuru. Recent flooding over the last few years has changed the conditions of the water such that the birds can no longer fly there and eat. While that was the reason we went to Lake Nakuru, it was such a beautiful park that I am glad we went there anyway.
We were communicating with Robert who was very good with his responses and answered our questions clearly.
Thank you so much to the team and specially Aroni who made this an incredible trip.

Great experience and great adventure!
I connected with Paul over the internet after emailing a couple different rental companies and I got a good feel for Paul. He always responded back thoughtfully and within a reasonable time - having never been to this part of Africa it was a bit of a difficult thing to feel out - but a gut feel was all I really had to go on. We agreed on a Land Cruiser Prado and he also arranged our Gorilla Permits free of charge (we had to pay the permit fee, but he got them for us at no additional charge).
Paul met us at the airport and gave us a quick run through of the car and some important bits and pieces about driving on the roads in Africa. My fiancee and I proceeded to drive the car just over 1500km in 10 days including spending time in the Masai Mara (crossing the border in to Kenya) and all the way down to Rwanda. Paul arranged everything we needed to cross the borders as smoothly as possible - but the thing you have to remember is that in Africa nothing is ever as easy as you hope it will be.
Regardless, the car was in good shape and handled the roads (and pot holes) as well as can be expected. A couple of tire repairs were necessary but Africa is full of service shops who can patch and repair tires. We did ask Paul to get us a new spare which he agreed to and met us out on the road after one tire was unfortunately beyond repair.
Wonderful experience and an absolutely incredible way to see more of Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya than I ever imagined I would. It's a pretty special part of the world and the people are - for the most part - wonderful and very kind.
Paul and 4x4 Uganda are two things you can put your trust in while planning your trip. Highly recommended.

5 day Selous and Mikumi budget safari
We picked Hello Tanzania to organize the above trip based on their reviews and what seemed to be good value for money, and we were in no way disappointed.
Communication was fast and alle questions and requests were delt with efficiently. We used Whatsapp to stay in touch during the safari.
We stayed in Hippo Camp the first 2 nights. Basic accomodation in a beautiful location right at the banks of a big river. The last nights at Camp Bastian, an equally nice place with helpful staff and nice food.
Booking a safari online without previous experiences can feel a bit risky but we are glad we decided to go for a local agency and can recommend Mrs Mwajabu Mo and her excellent staff. Service was personal and kind and she stayed in touch during the trip to make sure everything was going as planned. We had the same driver for all 5 days and felt safe and in very good company.
A very pleasant experience.

5 Days Adventure with great experience
We had a Chance to enjoy our 5 days Camping and Lodge Safari with Taste Of Afrika Safaris, wished we could enjoyed a lot but the time was against us because we had to go back home early. We had relatively enough of time to visit only 4 National parks with great and beautiful places our first was Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and we end up with Ngorongoro crater. We saw all animals big 5 in which was interested: Lions, cheetah, hippos, giraffe, elephants. Gabriel is very knowledgeable, hummble, friendly and well skilled. He made our safari to be the best and full with good memories. I highly recommend 5 days safari with Taste of Afrika for anyone who really wants to visit 4 National parks with great experience.
I wish to come again to Tanzania.

Great rental car option
We rented the the Land Cruiser Prado w/o the driver (we had a friend for a in country guide). The process was quick and simple. The staff was excellent, professional and very like-able. The Land Cruiser was in great shape and drove like a dream. The only regret I have is not hiring the Mumwe African Skimmer Safaris driver, the roads are not marked well and if we would have hired the Mumwe African Skimmer Safaris driver, we could have saved a lot of time by not getting lost. I WILL recommend Mumwe African Skimmer Safaris to anyone traveling to Uganda.

Amazing 2 days safari in Tarangire and Manyara lake
As young travellers, we couldn't afford luxury safaris but we desperately wanted to experience one during our trip in Tanzania. We were at first suspicious because of the many stories of tourists scams and - paradoxically - because of the only 5 stars ratings this company had (which is usually balanced with less enthusiastic comments).
Looking back at the 2 days trip we had with them, they really deserve 5 stars and word of mouth publicity ! Mike was the most amazing guide ever : he brought his books about birds and plants, knew everything about animals and nature et was really funny. He's open-minded and we exchanged cultures more than with any other tanzanian we met. John was a really good cook and was really friendly and Imaculate was so efficient to organize the tour that we couldn't believe it was happening.
We saw more animals than I ever did and had one of the times of our life. A must do that I recommend warmly !

Trip of a Lifetime, Honeymoon
Since the first contact with Alym back in February 2017 when I started looking for options for my honeymoon, he has been top notch, very attentive and very prompt to respond. He laid out 2-3 fully inclusive options for our honeymoon based on our preferences and price points. The whole process was seamless and easy with no hassles. Everything was organized by Alym himself except the flights to and from Africa. All food, transportation, guide, optional excursions were pre-planned. The service, food and accommodations all exceeded our expectations and we were treated like a King and Queen; each accommodation recognized our honeymoon status as well, which was a nice treat. We felt safe throughout the whole trip and didn't have one bad experience. Our guide/driver was exceptional and very knowledgeable. He was open to discussing any questions we had and very sociable with us. We want to thank Alym and East Africa Wild for one amazing trip of a lifetime. We will be definitely recommending his services to our friends and family whoever is planning on a safari in Africa. Thank you!

Excellent attentive safari planning that more than met our expectations done with efficiency and gra
Marianne Birrell was just great to work with. She asked what we wanted, provided a list of options and webpages and efficiently guided us to what we wanted. She planned 3 different lodges and game reserves that showed us diverse experiences that were perfect for what we wanted and priced fairly. Her experience and recommendations served us well. We saw an incredible diversity of animals and birds, the big 5, ugly five and magnificent 7 over 11 days. Every day was different but fantastic. She clearly knows her business. Only a small scheduling glitch occurred and she quickly found a solution. The lodges Had beautiful accommodations, great staff, incredible gourmet food and very nice facilities. Very peaceful and relaxing between game drives. They were perfect for us. I think she spent time listening to what we wanted and knew where to place us. This was our 3rd safari in Africa and by far the best. I suspect this will not be our last trip to Africa and the next will be planned by Marianne Birrell. I anyone wanting to see Africa and it’s animals would be in excellent hands if they chose her.
