ONE OF OUR WONDERFUL AND MEMORABLE TRIPS EVER!
This is the second trip my wife and I have traveled to Kenya 2 years consecutively and our experience this time as previous was exceptional.
The service of Starluck Travel and Mike our guide/driver were without fault, from being greeted at the airport on arrival to being dropped off at departure.
Candy last year and James this year went out of their way to offer their suggestions, experience and recommendations and tailored itineraries as needed.
We had a very wonderful and memorable honeymoon at Serena Beach and Resort in Mombasa. A special “Asante Sana” to all staffs who went out of their ways to ensure that we had a wonderful and memorable experience during our stay.
We have no hesitation in using Starluck Travel repeatedly or recommending to other people.
Many thanks for another superb and memorable trip! We wish you continued success.

Very professional and price competitive for Ruaha Safari
We found out about Tanzania Horizon Safaris through a Google search and we opted to reach out to the among many other tour operators. What made us choose Tanzania Horizon Safaris is mainly Elizabeth, the Operations Manager. Elizabeth was very professional and fast in responding. She answered all our queries and was able to adapt to our time and financial needs. She arranged the best transportation to and from Ruaha, the accommodation and the Safari Tours as per our Budget.
For our Safari, we had the tour guide Said. He was very patient, attentive and entertaining. Said has a wealth of knowledge about all the animals and Plants in Ruaha National Park which made our Safari much more enjoyable. During our 2.5 days in Ruaha, Said went out of his way to ensure that we see all the animals in the park and we ended up seeing the Big 4 out of 5 (Leopard, Lions, Elephant and Hippos). For our trip from Ruaha back to Dar, we decided to drive with Said. He is a very safe driver and the 14 hours drive was very enjoyable as Said was always explaining to us about the different villages and ecosystems we were passing through.
I high recommend Tanzania Horizon Safaris and Said to anyone wanting to travel to Tanzania to Safari or any other tour.

Flexible, friendly and knowledgeable.
We had a great time visiting Kenya and its parks thanks to Classic Journeys. They created a customized itinerary for us, and made sure to arrange great accommodations for us. We got booked to the best lodges and the best rooms in each of the lodges. The guides/drivers were very knowledgeable and friendly.
Charles and his team made sure we had all the information we needed prior to us landing in Kenya, and were available when needed. I would highly recommend Classic Journeys.

An Expedition int the Heart of the Namib Desert.
The expedition was a well planned and well executed trip into the Namib Desert. Horses, gear, and staff were all top notch. We learned about the geology of the desert, as well as of the plants and animals that populate it. The riding was intense, with much galloping and lots of terrain covered each day. Food and drinks were abundant - we lacked for nothing in that respect.
The staff was helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The riders were from five different countries, in ages from 13 to 74 - all good riders and traveling companions. We had lots of laughs and good conversations around the campfires.
I will think back on the riding, the desert, and the camaraderie shared by the staff and riders as the highlights of the trip.

The guides were REALLY good. The accommodation is super comfortable, clean and the food is amazing!
We did a day tour in kruger park and the guide was REALLY good and passionate for what he does.
The second day we did a tour around to see many waterfalls and beautiful sceneries. Everything was done very professionally. The cars were pretty new.
The accommodation is super comfortable, clean and the food is amazing! It was fun to see the monkeys passing by to eat the fruits by the cabin.
The communication with them was also very easy and the staff was very kind.
The best was the price. The best we could find for what they offer.
Really recommend it!

Excelent choice for our travel to Kenia and Tanzania.
What to say. Fantastic experience. These guys are ready to manage all your travel, acomodations, transfers, fights, meals, at a very good price (no european travel agencies charging additional margins). We have been 18 days in august and have enjoyed very much, lot of fun.

Seamlessly amazing migration Safari
My wife and I wanted to see the Wildebeest Migration and wanted to have it very customized. After extremely helpful communications with Ezekiel we decided to book a 10 day Migration Safari to Serengeti. Our stay at Mara Mara Tented Lodge was amazing and the safari guide (Temba) was very friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about Tanzania. The choice of itinerary and accommodations exceeded our expectations.
Thank you for the memorable safari experience.

The holiday of a lifetime organised superbly by Diana and her team
We had one weeks holiday in Uganda and we contacted Diana at Intek Travel to ask if she could help us. She was quite outstanding and made really helpful suggestions and sorted out the holiday of a lifetime for us. We didn't know where we were going so it was really helpful to have someone with local knowledge who completely understood the type of thing we wanted. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish and the trip was incredible. We went up to Murchison falls game reserve via the Rhino sanctuary and Diana had suggested a sundowner trip on the Nile with Wild Frontiers and then as stay at Pakuba lodge with a walk up to the top of the Murchison falls and then a night in the Budongo Eco lodge to go Chimp trekking. It was all perfect. In a short safari around the park (we had already been in Tanzania so wanted to experience some safari but also other things like the Chimps) we saw all of the main game including two leopards, lion, elephant, buffalo and dozens of different antelope and birds species. It was a truly magical experience. Our guide/driver Wilson was quite outstanding and knew all the places to look as well as being a mine of information. We then had a couple of days in Kampala with Wilson as a guide and a final day white water rafting on the Nile from Jinja. Nothing was too much trouble for Diana and we cannot recommend her or Intek travel too highly. We will certainly be using them again and please know that if you use them you will be in extremely competent and experienced hands.

The worst experience of our lifes
I’m writing this coment from Nairobi airport still shaking. Today me and 4 friends were coming back from Masai Mara area to Nairobi to have dinner and then take our flight home. We were in a van of the company “Africa Home Adventure”.
During the way it started to rain and the traffic became very slow. After a couple of minutes, when we were next to the Riff Valley our driver decided to overtake some cars so he moved to the other lane (uphill) but a truck was going downhill (in his lane). The lorry driver tried to stop, I even saw the smoke in the wheels but it was too late. It hit our van and we almost fall into the valley.
Fortunatelly, only one of my friends had some small cuts because of the window glass and I have a big swollen circle with a bruise on my leg starting to show.
The driver stopped another tourist van that offered to take us to the Tour company office. It was raining and the traffic became cahotic so honestly we just wanted to go away.
Around 300m later there was another accident. A big lorry fell into the valley and we believe that accident was due to ours, because after our crush the traffic stopped moving.
Finally this driver that helped us called our company and we met one member of the staff at the center where he was waiting us with a different car (a small one) and driver. He smiled the whole time, saying that it wasn’t a big deal and that it was the lorry’s driver fault. We couldn’t believe it. We all are drivers and we saw perfectly what happened. He just said “ok I’m sorry you can go to the airport if you want with him”, pointed out to the new driver.
We are ok but still in shock. I’m sorry for such a long text but I just want to let you know that if you are looking for a Tour company in Kenya NEVER choose “African Home Adventure”. In addition they charged me 23$ more when I payed the due balance at their office, saying that it’s because their rate change is different (apart from the 6% charge for paying by card, which I find it normal). When I tried to explain them that my card (Revolut) make the payment according to the exchange rate of the day they refused, I didn’t want to start our tour arguing so we didn’t reply and we payed.
By the way, I’ve seen they have great coments from a man called Abednegoh, he works for them. He was the one who was laughing while we were telling him that we almost die, and the one who texted me through WhatsApp a few days prior my trip which present I would bring him from my country.
There are hundreds of good and reliable safari and tours companies in Kenya but this one is not one of them.
