Kagera was punctual, knowledgeable & welcoming and we visited all the locations on the itinerary
The tour guide's communication was clear on what we were to do for the day & how it was going to be done.
My expectations were exceeded as we visited all locations on the trip's plan and did not feel rushed.
The tour was well planned & we experienced variety in the sights that we saw.
I highly recommend Kagera Safaris for a truly rich Ugandan experience.

Review about Mkhuze Game Reserve by jamiebakerbirds
Some very birding here, with some species difficult to see elsewhere.

Amazing mammal and bird obersvations, an absolutely once in a lifetime place to visit!
The scenery at Kruger is dry and vast. It's also very hot when I was there in November. Most all the observations of birds and mammals is done from inside a vehicle driving around on the roads. The few days I spent in the park birding and photographing mammals was an absolute highlight of all my travels. The accommodations were nice, and the food was great.
Wonderful Bush Experience
We have spent over 800 days on Southern African photo safaris (over a year just in the greater Kruger Park) and have stayed at many self-drive and 5-star guided lodges and Makalali has been one of our best experiences. The food and service were top-notch, the suites are most unusual and the game viewing awesome. The scenic beauty is due to the drakensberg mountains that provide a dramatic backdrop to photos in the west of the park.
Our field guide and tracker were a great combination. We saw elephants, rhino, lions 3 times, and 3 leopards. I did not feel that the drives were set-up - the leopard sightings in particular were all unexpected as we were looking for other subjects. As wildlife photographers we want to photograph animals - we don't enjoy driving around on dusty roads for hours in the hope of maybe seeing something. We did not find cheetah nor buffalo but were VERY happy with our 3 leopard sightings. From some reviews I've found that if the guides don't find animals then they are 'useless' but if they find too many subjects then it's 'canned'. Makalali you have a winning formula and we are most satisfied with our experience!

To see elephants, zebra, giraffe, rhino, and lions in the wild is just amazing! The birding is also great in South Africa.

From day one I felt I was in good hands and very lucky to be with great people
When looking into booking my climb to Kilimanjaro I was overwhelmed by the amount of companies all promising the best experience. I came across EAV on the list of government approved and regulated companies. I found the communications with Faith from the office extremely efficient, helpful and crucial to my preparation stage. When I arrived in Kilimanjaro and met the team (2 guides and driver) I automatically felt in good, safe hands and was comfortable and excited for the climb. During the 7 day hike the team of 2 guides and 19 porters went above and beyond to ensure our experience was a safe, comfortable and positive one. I found our lead guide, Alex a very skilled and effective leader. It was clear to see the team felt supported and encouraged by him which had a positive knock on impact on the moral within our team. Alex and Yasser kept our safety paramount and our spirits high. Without this team I have no doubt my experience would not have been as special. I celebrated my 30th birthday while on the mountain and the team, laid by Alex made this extra special by organizing a cake, dancing and singing with the whole team together. This was an exceptional day, one I will never forget and it is all thanks to the extra effort and energy the team put in. I can not fault EAV at all I was very impressed by their service before, during and after the climb. The company have excellent staff who take very good care of their clients. Thank you very much to all involved for this incredible experience which I feel honored to have had.

Me and my wise saw a lion at a close range of about 5 meters.
From the time of enquiry to end of safari all services were perfect. Itinary was followed and the safari was worthy the money we paid for it.

Excellent friendly service, good knowledge and super organisation. Recommended.
Mari at Cedarburg was such a pleasure to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble - flexibility is clearly second nature to this team.We booked very late at one of the busiest times of the year so availability was limited. Cedarburg managed to find us two super lodges. We asked for horseback safari and spent two nights in Ants Hill in the Waterburg which totally surpassed our expectations. What an unforgettable experience. From there we drove (in the hire car Mari booked) half way to our next lodge. Our overnight stay was fine however not up to the standard its marketing promised. We ended our week at Kambaku Safari Lodge in the Timbavati - part of the greater Kruger National park. Another superb experience. Fabulous big five sightings, family oriented camp knowledgeable and charming staff.

Good Journey
We did a safari including Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti. We saw so many different animals and local sights. The hotels we stayed in were highlights as well. Our guide was very friendly and informative. We felt safe and very well looked after the entire time.
