First timers in Africa
5/5

Thanks to Carlston for putting together a super interesting itinerary that we would not forget. Being our first trip to Africa it was overwhelming to see the vastness of the country with ever changing landscapes and wildlife as well as the deep rooted culture of the masai tribe. I would consider this more of an experience than a holiday, only regret being I wish I had done this trip when I was younger as I would like to have climbed Kilimanjaro. The accommodation, food, hospitality and our guide were great, a perfect combination. A word of advice is to take a small pillow to soften the bumpy drive.

Extremely exciting to have dealt with Noel and Clare
5/5

My friends and I first met Noel in Abu Dhabi having been refered to him by a friend of mine. We had been planning a trip to Naivasha for a meeting. Noel was kind enough to offer us suggestions that included a visit to Hells Gate National park and an Island at the Lake. In Kenya we met his colleague Clare and we had a great experience as she was able to plan us a proper itinerary factoring in our tight short schedule that included a conference and trips to the park and lake. They had a very comfortable jeep for us and an amazing driver and guide. They always kept intouch. The next time we be doing Kenya again we will be choosing Kiboko as well as referring our friends.

About: Safarihub
Safari in Tanzania & Zanzibar
5/5

On this trip to Tanzania I visited Tarangire, Manyara, Ngorongoro and all parts of the Serengeti and finally Zanzibar. The staff did a great job and worked with us continuously to make sure our itinerary included everything we required, in particular the accommodation. From the word go we enjoyed every moment with a special thanks to our driver Hamisi, who at the end was like family. My favourite lodge was Tarangire Treetops we actually heard lion roaring nearby, such a thrilling experience. Zanzibar was an experience on its own with a total contrast to the Safari aspect of the trip. Only down side was the length of our vacation, I wish we could have spent at least a week in Zanzibar.

Excellent organization to experience a great safari/trip in beautiful Uganda!
5/5

We experienced a great trip with Katona end december 2015 to Bwindi and Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Our friendly and reliable driver/guide Richard picked us up at Entebbe airport for a day of relaxation in Cassia Lodge in Kampala (great view).
From the Katona office Jackie is a super liaison officer, with her we organised our trip via internet/E-mail, her communication skills are outstanding, also during the trip.
We visited Bwindi and encountered the mountain gorilla's and Richard aligned us with a children's orphanage near the Trekkers Tavern, a basic and wonderful place to stay. In QE Nat Park we stayed in Twin Lake Lodge, very recommendable due to its nice setting. The boat trip in QE has been one of the highlights of the trip.
Overall we'll recommend Katona Tours & Travel, and particularly the services from Jackie and Richard!

Jobovic provided an excellent Safari experience
5/5

Wonderful Safari experience. Communication, by email, was immediate and respectful, no matter how trivial our questions. Piet (owner/driver) and Bryce (guide) provided excellent service attending promptly to our every need. We felt safe and secure at all times. Their knowledge of the animals and their habitat was first class. The catering was more than satisfactory. We particularly enjoyed the BBQ meals Bryce prepared in the campgrounds. The itinerary through Kruger, Botswana and Victoria Falls created many opportunities to see the native animals. Particularly loved the overnight camp in the Okavango Delta. This Safari exceeded our expectations. Piet and Bryce were more than tour leaders. They became good friends. We enjoyed their cameraderie immensely. We would have no hesitation recommending Jobovic Safaris.

Wonderful experience!!!!!!
5/5

My boyfriend and I did a 3 night 4 day budget safari in May 2016. We visited Lake Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater. We had an amazing time with World Tours and Safaris!! Richard, the manager, was quite helpful answering all of our questions and concerns before we arrived. The best part of our experience was our guide/drive, Steven! He had an incredible knowledge of the flora & fauna and superhuman eyesight!! Big thanks to him and our chef, we had a wonderful experience and got to see the Big 5! I cannot recommend him enough :)

My worst experience, ever
1/5

I have travelled all over the world, and this was not my first safari, indeed. But I never found an operator that avoids its responsabilities in such a way like this one. There were services not provided to us, and when we asked the operator for a solution, he just said "no problem", and nothing else. They will tell you "no problem" to everything you ask, but actually they will do nothing, they will not accept any responsability, they will not compensate you for any service not provided. Maybe others have had a better experience than us, but I would never recommend this operator.

Supersafari
4/5

We booked our 6 days safari through Foot Slopes. They responded very fast on every e-mail I sent. The feeling was just good. And ofcourse, they did offer the trip we wanted against a good price. Including airport pickup, hotelstay before and after the trip.
They hired another company (guide and cook) to organize our trip. They were absolutely fantastic! The best guide you can wish for. Very experienced and a genuine person. Our cook was great, he made delicious food.
Because Foot Slopes hired another company for our trip, there we no towels as promised and no unlimited water. This was not really a problem. We organized it ourselves. But is felt ackward towards our guide.
We had an amazing trip and saw the Big 5!

Great value for money and first class service
5/5

We did a three day safari round Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara and Manyara reserve. Top quality jeep with friendly and knowledgeable guide called John. He was a good and safe driver which was good as there are some nutters out there!! We had a number of requests to stop at various shops etc. and it was no trouble at all. John spent lots of time driving round the parks to spot animals and communicated with other guides to find good areas to head to.
Our accommodation was upgraded to luxury tents which was a real treat as had proper beds and a shower room & toilet out back.. All food and water provided. Quality hot meal for breakfast and dinner. Lunch was a pack up that was traditional African food so not amazing yet enough to get us by with a juice. On the last day John also arranged for us to have a tour of a Masai village so we got to see their huts and way of life.

Overall a great experience and one I would recommend. The hotel in Arusha the night before/after was of a good standard yet probably only a 2* in the U.K. so don't set expectations high. It was called Arusha tourist inn and food was poor so perhaps get a taxi to a local restaurant if you want to eat out when there - we went to Fifi's coffee house and it was great. I didn't feel safe walking in darkness in arusha so taxi a must. Enjoy!!
