The Gorilla trek was out of this world
5/5

I was looking for a tour operator to help me go to Uganda to see the amazing gorillas. My experience with Kenya Walking Survivors Safaris was amazing. Transport were arrangements were top notch and the guides the were very friendly.

Adventure!
5/5

Peter is an incredible guide. Loves people, wont let you down. He has had so much experience. He is from the tribe of the masai, so he fully understood how the game works.
We went on a 3 day trip in December and saw everyone we wanted to see except for the Rhino (which was not seen by any of the tour guides that trip). Incredible place.I recommend Peter or the Experience anymore than I have!
Thank you.

A very enjoyable challenging experience of life that cannot be forgotten
4/5

Excellent and prompt online communication for booking our tour. Very good arrangements and services made by tour leader and tour guide, both of them know their job very well. The tour of Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti were beyond our expectations. It was really marvelous.

Amazing experiences for a short trip!
5/5

East Africa Wild Adventures coordinated our Safari as part of a visit to Kenya for a wedding. We only had 4 days to spend before making our way to the final destination and were on a budget. They helped make sure we saw a tremendous amount in that time. We visited Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Masai Mara. Each offered their own varied experience of wildlife and surroundings. Our tour operators were friendly, knowledgeable, and always on time. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. East Africa Wild was great to work with. They gave us a number of options and helped determine what was best for our group. That really set the experience apart.

Cape Town/Victoria Falls/Zambezi Queen/Kirkman's Kamp
5/5

My daughter's Bucket List had one item, ride an elephant in Africa. I contacted my local travel agent and she, along with Dave from Great Safaris, put a trip of a lifetime together for us. Our guide, Adriaan, in Cape Town made our days memorable with historical information and yet fun for a twenty-something and her Mom. Tickets were purchased in advance so there was no waiting for Table Mountain or Robben Island. Each and every transfer was seamless and every driver professional and cordial. I felt as if I stepped back in time at the Victoria Falls Hotel where the service was exquisite. We had an amazing afternoon with the elephants, trainers, and staff and even made friends with Sylvester, the resident cheetah. The Zambezi Queen was above my expectations and although we saw a larger variety of wildlife at Kirkman's Kamp the opportunity to watch the elephants play in the Chobe River for literally hours was a highlight for us. This is evident by the sheer number of elephant pictures we took! We felt a bit underdressed at dinner but no one paid us any mind and the food was fabulous. Finally Kirkman's was the perfect end to our two week travels. We saw so many animals and birds on our twice daily drives. The ranger and tracker we had were incredibly knowledgeable and so personable with everyone. Cynthia, our 'butler', was a real hit with my daughter and was part of the surprise birthday party we had for my daughter celebrating her early 26th. To be honest, I cannot think of any staff member we encountered that was not courteous and friendly. The confirmation documents from Dave were always accurate and I especially appreciated the Field Guide and Journal that I used daily highlighting what we had seen, referring to it with the ranger, and keeping my daily notes. Dave even contacted me while we were in Victoria Falls to see how things were going. My daughter and I discussed the order of the places we visited and honestly beginning at Cape Town and engaging in the history first was best, then living out the dream of riding an elephant followed by the floating on the Chobe watching elephants and hippos and relaxing, and ending with the Big 5 and early morning drives at Kirkmans was the perfect sequence for us. I highly recommend Great Safaris, Dave, and his cadre of knowledge when booking your amazing African adventure. Congrats to Dave and his team!

An experience to remember
5/5

If you love wild animals, are grateful for dedicated guides who will find them for you and you like wide open spaces to see animals in their habitat not in zoo cages, UB On Safari is a good choice. At the Serengeti where you can see for miles and watch the gazelles jump, understand why elderly male elephants travel solo and see cats because your guide might be really good...he'll find that cheetah that no one else could find! At the Ngorongoro Crater while tighter in space you have the humrous experience of watching people watch animals.....part of the safari experience for sure. A super plus of UB On Safari is that they let you travel alone, not with strangers...Lodging was wonderful, meals for me the vegetarian, were exquisite and my meat-eating husband actually enjoyed the vegetables so much he ate very little meat. A great experience, if you are looking to see Africa in five or fifteen days.

Unforgettable
5/5

It was the most memorable trip we have had in our life. Everything was taken care of from the airport pickup to the accommodations, to the safari, to summiting to the roof of Africa. The guide was a delight, the porters were friendly, and they stuffed us with more food than we could handle. As everything was taken care of, all that was left for us to do was to take in the experience. A fantastic journey all around!

Wonderful experience
4/5

We had a private safari to Amboseli and Tzavo West organized by Jocky and enjoyed every minute of it. The minivan was comfy as can be with a professional driver who took very good care of our comfort and safety. With his persistency and experience he managed to show us all the animals we wanted to see including a lioness and a baby lion, which are not so many in Tzavo. The lodges in both places were ok, but one can pay for a more luxurious accommodation. We had all the costs negotiated from the beginning and were not asked for anything in addition. Reliable company

An amazing once in a lifetime experience, made possible by Joao, Baraja and the Team
5/5

We floated a question on a Search Engine requesting for a Tour Operator who could plan a safari for us .Joao picked up our request with such alacrity that left us wondering if he is on the computer all the time! A string of E-mails followed and the rest as they say is history! Within a fortnight our trip was finalised. We landed in Tanzania and were met by Dickson who was to be our Guide for the next 6 days. Not only did we see the Big 5 (Dickson made sure that we did..) but the entire experience of the Trip-be it the Balloon Ride or the Night Safari or the Game drives or the packed lunches or the provision of the Field Glasses, were meticulously planned. All this was possible because of the professionalism of the Team- Joao ,Baraja,Sylvia,Elizabeth et al.Once we moved to Kenya,Patricia and Martin took over to give us an equally enriching experience at Amboseli and Nairobi. The Lodges that had been booked for us were wonderful especially Kibo Lodge in Amboseli.A Big Thank you to the entire Team of "It Started in Africa". Even before we touched down in India, we had started planning for another trip next Year!!!!
