Amazing Amboseli going the extra mile
I had a great time with Dennis on a 2 night trip to Amboseli National Park. He was a great driver and guide and made the experience of spotting animals an amazing ride on the game drive. I enjoyed my conversations with him and he’s super friendly and knowledgeable.
The stay at both kibo safari camp and amboseli sopa lodge were fantastic and I have many photos to share.
I only wish I brought a bigger camera zoom lens for close ups! Thanks for this fabulous time. Highly recommended.

Unforgettable Experience
It was my fourth and again a brilliantly organized and executed trip with Bushland with a program that was tailored to our wishes.
Right at the beginning we – a group of four -reached Kigoma by bush plane, in the far west of the country on the coast of Lake Tanganyika, to spend several days on foot in Gombe National Park observing chimpanzees. It was a great experience.
Our next destination was Ruaha National Park, with its mighty baobab trees, hills, river valleys full of palm trees and a large number of elephants, the great kudus and impala gazelles.
An amazing tour was the hike in Isimila in the canyon with its bizarrely shaped sandstone columns and walls.
The hike to the prehistoric rock paintings in Kolo and the visit to the small attached museum were equally impressive.
The last adventure of this trip was climbing Mt. Hanang - the fourth highest mountain in Tanzania, which was only possible thanks to the great planning and organization to provide the porters, the kitchen team, all camping gear and the local mountain guide.
All accommodations were chosen very carefully. The excellent food, the friendliness of the staff and the competent local guides exceeded all our expectations.
Our driver guides from Bushland always looked after our well-being, they had answers to all our questions and we felt completely safe during the whole safari, even when we had an adventurous feeling driving in the bush and during the strenuous more than 2700 km on the main road between Arusha-Ruaha-Arusha.
Extremely grateful for everything and with the most beautiful memories for ever we said goodbye to Bushland, the people we met and to Tanzania.

Mark was extremely helpful in assisting me in planing a tour to Victoria Falls and a Safari
I wanted to go on a Safari and Visit to Victoria Falls on the same trip. Mark was able to advise me on when was the best time to go as I do not like it too hot and the best price for a single traveller. He also advised on the correct clothing to take for the Surprising chilly weather first thing in the morning and evening. I changed plans a couple of times and he accommodated these with great patience. I would strongly recommend Gondwana Tours to anyone especially if it your first Safari.

Exceptional
Most book with Suricata!
We had an amazing 4 day safari tour that went beyond our expectations! When you book, you must request Freddy. He was so knowledgeable about the area and animals and was an expert on locating areas where we might have a chance seeing our animal wishes. He was exceptional and made the whole trip as good as it was. The team at suricata is very organized. You don’t have to think once you arrive. Your hotels are settled, meals all the days are prepared for you and they will help you with any additional assistance to arrive and depart after your safari. We did the mid range and all the hotels and/or campsites were clean, had working WiFi, hot water and delicious meals. For those that like wine, beer or cocktails after a long day, every location had it for purchase in their locations. I especially loved the suricata bomba lodge with its beautiful rooms, architecture and spa. I cannot recommend suricata enough.
This is an incredible value for what you pay and wonderful service and communication

Impressive day trip to wonderful NP Moremi via South Gate with amazing guides
What a wonderful day...from the start till the end.
We contacted Bakang online very spontaneously for a day trip to Moremi via Maun and he arranged it for us uncomplicated on short notice. He answered all our questions with a lot of passion and friendliness. Than we met us the evening before on our Campsite for payment and last infos, eg about food restrictions and what we want to drink. Bakang is a very nice person and we got a lot of info about Botswana and the culture, what was very interesting!
Our day trip started at 6am and the very warm-hearted and funny "Captain" was our guide. Bakang also joined the tour. So we were a good team for the adventure ahead;)
In addition Captain is a very good driver. He managed to get through the deep sand in the park, checked the landscape for animals and answer all our questions.
After some km on tar road the gravel road with some sandy parts to the South Gate started. And even here Captain managed to drive not too fast so that we didnt get covered with dust and were still able to check the surrounding.
Here we already saw some wildlife and nice landscape. Right before the gate- first with distance a hyena was crossing the road- there were (the first) lions lying beside a tree! What a start! Entering the gate Captain saw a lepard in the back mirror crossing the road but it was too late for us to find it in the trees- thats nature;)
In the park we saw a lot of changing, amazing landscape, huge amount of animals as giraffe, a breeding ostrich, different groups of elephants with babies, different kinds of antelopes, birds and than we approached river spots (black pools?) in a wide area were we saw lot of animals and water birds.
It was a very nice place with open views and a very good and lovely lunch. Thanks for the variety of food, we loved the taste of each! And of course not to forget- we had a wonderful breakfast with tea and coffee as well as big sandwiches with salad, very tasty. We loved the fruit juices, too;)
Back to the tour: there were still some surprises in front: right after we left the lunch spot Captain found a pride of Lions with cubs! Again under a tree, we counted in total 11 lions! With different sizes, there was one big sleeping male hidden between the others but the cubs were awake and looking at us while one of the female was walking and searching a better shadow place:-) It was lovely to watch them and we were very happy. On our way out of the park we still saw more animals and for the 3rd time Lions, this time big ones! Finally we got stuck in the sand but with Captains good, positive mood and support from another game truck it was not a problem at all and we continued our way;-)
Late afternoon we arrived - very happy - back at the South Gate, we had such an incredible day that the time had hurried a lot. So after making a short break we drove a little bit faster back to Maun to arrive before sunset.
We can only say: Wow and thanks Bakang and Captain to give us this opportunity to enjoy the Moremi national park!
As this part (South Gate area) of the Moremi is curently really hard to drive through with a lot of very deep sand, narrow ways we were in addition very happy that we didn´t make it on our own- for sure it is doable with 4x4 - but it is much more nicer to only concentrate on the park and not on driving;-)
And we did the correct choice for making a first guided day tour with Afrigetaways Safaris! Price-quality is very good and we can recommend it for all of you. I am sure that they will be individually create amazing tours for each preferences.
We will soon come back and hopefully have another chance to make a tour with them :-)

Memorable Weekend in Mikumi National Park
I booked the 2-day Mikumi NP and Bush Walking tour with Kihindo Safaris as I wanted to make the most out of the short time I had available. The Kihindo team took good care of me from beginning to end. I was picked up directly at the airport and brought to the Dar es Salaam train station from where (only since a couple of months ago) a comfortable direct train brings you to Morogoro. From there my guide Saloniki picked me up and we went straight to Mikumi National Park. First day included the "game drive" where we saw a great variety of animals like elephants, giraffes and lions. Saloniki and his partner Jaxon were very knowledgeable and you could ask them anything. The Camp Bastian where you stay overnight is a comfortable accomodation with a relaxed atmosphere. On Day 2 during the walking safari you get to know further plants, birds as well as the Maasai culture - our Maasai guide Melemi was very kind and knowledgeable, too. The visit of a Maasai village is a great experience for everyone who wants to get to know the culture better. The whole tour ends with a visit of a farm where you can see snakes, turtles and crocodiles. Afterwards I was brought back to Morogoro where we had a final lunch before the train ride back to Dar.
All in all, the two days are filled with exciting program points and I can recommend the tour to anyone looking for a 2-day package that does not only include "game drives" but also a bit of hiking/exploring and getting to know the Maasai culture.
I can recommend the tour also for solo travellers as your guide (in my case: Saloniki) stays with you during the two days, takes care of all organisational matters and is available for any questions that might appear.

Searching for the Big5 in Serengeti National Park
Searching for the big5 with Freddy from Suricata Safari.
A beautiful 4-day trip to discover the Serengeti National Park and other natural parks in Tanzania. It was an incredible trip full of wonderful places and lots of animals.
Freddy knows all the secret places where there is a greater chance of meeting “rare” animals to see. He is always available to tell stories and anecdotes about the animals and the local culture. He is very attentive, friendly and makes you feel at home. If you book ask for him as a guide!
We chose the mid-range option shared with other travellers.
The places where we stayed at night were enchanting. From the hospitality to the food everything was excellent. The places chosen by Suricata Safari to sleep have Wi-Fi connection, hot shower, very kind staff. This company in addition to being local is also very well equipped for all your needs and desires.
They organized a cake for my wife's birthday in one of their locations. The staff surprised her and sang local songs for her birthday.
The staff is very kind and always attentive to your needs.
We managed to see the big5 and many other animals.
An incredible trip that will forever be in our memory!
