Very satisfied with the overall experience
Stayed at the Loyk Mara camp for our 2 nights and 3 days safari. Good experience overall, staff very friendly, pleased with the service. The food was also good, but could have been better if provided with more options. The tents were spacious, luxurious and safe, giving a good feeling of spending the night in the jungle with roaring lions a few miles away.

Top notch guides, well-organized
Relied on Snow Africa for a Kilimanjaro climb, a one-day trip in Arusha NP, and a 3-day trip to Lake Manyara and Ngorngoro Crater. All three trips were well-organized, and the guides/ drivers were excellent. On Kili, Florent (the owner) and Julius (Lead Guide) are both very experienced and capable, and kept things moving without a hitch. Julius in particular has incredible experience on the mountain and because he loves being there, is a joy to be around. Likewise for Charles, our driver/ guide for LM and NCA. He knows wildlife, birds and plants intimately, and has great connections among the rangers. He was able to organize a last-minute ranger-led walking safari along the crater rim and a great visit to an off-the-beaten-path Masai village. He was enthusiastic about everything we saw, despite having seen much of it before. The safari vehicles were in great shape. I wouldn't think of using anyone else if/ when I return to TZ.

Excellent Time :)
Myself and the wife travelled with Budget in late June & July 2015. Great company, would have no hesitation recommending them to friends and family. Everything was perfect from start to finish.

We are a family of five and it was truly memorable and special holiday. Everyrhing was excellent!
Right from the time we asked for a itinerary our experience was great. Maturaf was helpful, listened to what we wanted and accommodating. Our guide on safari was superb very knowledgable and well spoken he ensured our safari experience was superb. The lodges were fabulous, the surprisingly good. We had 9 days in Tanzania followed by a beach holiday in Zanzibar including a day in stone town. We loved it and regional tours took all the hassle out of our trip. We would highly recommend them and if you can Arun to guide you even better.

Unforgettable days
We spent 10 days in a fantastic trip. We started in Laikipia Wilderness Lodge, where we met two packs of the endangered and daunting Wild Dogs. Everything was perfect, from the drivers and guides to the staff in the camp. And, of course, Annabelle and Steve. There we met not only animals, but other enthusiastic travelers.
Apart from Laikipia, we enjoyed Elementaitia Lake, Castle Forest Lodge and Kakamega Forest. All places together conformed a fantastic trip and made us eager to coming again soon, specially our son Carlos.

45 kms before lunch!
If you are a good, strong rider with a great sense of adventure; then this is the trip for you.
A horse ride of a lifetime.
In 2014 I did the great fish river canyon ride with the same company. A great ride too.
So I came back for more in 2015.
The horses are extraordinary athletes. Vincent the cook is a chef, all the staff are just great troopers.

In Dunas Safari I trust.
This safari was the 4th one organized by Dunas Safari for us over the last 10 years. All the members of the team I have been in contact with are very professional and friendly. The design of the safari according to our expectations and budget was easy, and the team was proactive by suggesting alternatives or improvements.
For questions or minor logistics problems the team was happy to help, and in case of problem they were available 24/24h.
For those who are not comfortable with english, french and portuguese are spoken.
I cannot imagine getting back to Namibia without asking the help of Dunas Safari and without sleeping one or two nights in Villa Moringa Guesthouse.

Cole, UK, 2015
To summarise briefly, the two lodge exceeded our expectations for different reasons. Paraa Lodge is in a lovely location, beautifully organised, has excellent food, delightful staff and every comfort thoughtfully taken care of. Mweya Safari Lodge location was stunning and the way the lodge integrated with it’s environment was perfect. Neither lodge disappointed us in any way although the food at Mweya was not as good ( but the dinner setting in the out-doors was fun!) but we felt very relaxed and at peace there. Our guides in both places were charming and very knowledgeable.
We were amazed by all the wildlife and saw everything we hoped to see except for a leopard which eluded us despite a long search in Queen Elizabeth national park! Our photos and memories are brilliant!
Primate lodge was extremely comfortable, the food was great and it was a beautiful place to relax in the middle of the forest. We did the chimpanzee forest walk, swamp walk and went on the Crater lake Tour but sadly didn’t have time for a visit to the village community.
We absolutely loved Bwindi forest and are already planning a repeat of the gorilla trekking experience, although we might consider investigating Rwanda next time, just for a change.
Please give my thanks to Carlos for his help and guidance in planning and booking this wonderful holiday. Steve for his outstanding guide service, knowledge and personality.
Regards
S Cole

Great budget option
Of course it's always daunting arranging a safari from your home country. There are so many options and then there's the worry about scams but we had a good feeling about KBS, mainly due to Esther's friendly, informative and prompt correspondences. We weren't required to pay up front either. For us, we prioritised having a private tour over luxury because of past experiences on group tours where we couldn't see or had to compromise our ideals to accommodate other guests. KBS offered one of the cheapest private options around. Our guide, David, was lovely, considerate, punctual, informative and - importantly - a very safe, responsible driver. The vehicle was fine, not new but in reasonable condition. It did break a fanbelt which David got repaired at our next stop thus not really impacting upon us.
We did 3 nights/4days Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru tour. Masai Mara accom (Sidai camp) was ok in terms of comfort (bed, ensuite hot shower) but not too clean. Breakfast and dinner buffets were good given the remote location but the packed lunches they provided were very poor and didn't cater for vegetarians (bring snacks!). Game drives here were great. David didn’t point out much we couldn't see for ourselves but did use the radio system effectively to find lots of the rarer sightings like lions and cheetahs with kill. A walk around the village (the campsite is not in the park) was interesting but with hindsight we'd have paid a few shillings to get a tour from a local to get a bit more out of the experience. You get plenty of offers and it's cheaper than paying for it as an official activity on your tour.
Lake Nakuru accom was in Chester Hotel which far exceeded our budget expectations. Buffet dinner and breakfast with a great packed lunch. Lake was a good contrast to Mara in terms of scenery. Lots of birdlife, white rhinos, a few flamingos, buffalos, baboons.
Overall we were very content with our experience. Thank you Esther and David!
