Unforgettable Experience
5/5

Me, 27, female solo traveller, did a 8-days Kilimanjaro Tour with Zanzibar Trekking and Safaris. The team was amazing, always had a smile on their faces even though they carried all the heavy stuff. You can’t imagine how much and especially yummy food you will get on the way to the summit! Special thanks to my guide Justin who answered all of my 61948107 questions about the Tanzanian culture and wildlife.
Again, thank you very much for this unforgettable experience that I will never forget!

Perfect Tour organizer in Africa
5/5

It was our first time in Africa and we are glad we booked through QualifiedToursTanzania. They were very accommodating, kind and made sure that our trip would be flawless. Every one involved in our trip was amazing and very welcoming which made our experience that much better
Amazing part of tour was a cheetahs which came closer to our vehicle and spending sometime before disappeared in bushes.

Incredible trekking adventure to Kilimanjaro and safari across Tanzania thanks to this local company
5/5

Incredible adventure and experience thanks to Zanzi Trekking and Safaris. We contacted them to do the Kilimanjaro trek via the Machame route and also to go on a safari. It's the perfect choice if you want to support a genuine local company.

For the trekking, we couldn't have asked for a better team to achieve it. Justin was our guide, an amazing person with deep cultural knowledge, great conversation skills, and who made the trek more enjoyable. His mountain experience was crucial; without him and his assistant Nestory, we couldn't have reached the summit, as they understand altitude needs perfectly and provide the necessary advice to keep going and ensure safety if needed.

The adventure was a team effort. Besides the guides, Steven the chef provided everything we needed to stay energized, and the meals were delicious. Every time we arrived at camp, everything was prepared thanks to the porters (kilifighters) Dominic, Peter, Lazaro, Kelvin, Kelvin II, and Dula. They took care of everything, allowing us to focus on the experience.

It's not just a trekking experience but also an opportunity to meet locals and learn about their lives, enriching culturally and personally throughout the journey.

We also enjoyed a private safari, tailored to our preferences and requests. We visited the main national parks, guided by Ruben in a safari jeep with a open roof for perfect wildlife viewing. Ruben was an excellent guide, ensuring our safety, communicating with other drivers to spot every animal. It was unforgettable. Abu, the chef, accompanied us during our three days camping in the Serengeti.

In summary, Zanzi Trekking and Safaris is a fantastic option if you're looking to climb Kilimanjaro and experience a safari in Tanzania, all while supporting a local business and its workers and families. Thanks to Honest, the owner, for organizing this unforgettable journey.

Amazing Safari Experience
5/5

I recently had the pleasure of embarking on a safari with Zanzi Trekking and Safaris and it was truly an unforgettable experience! From the moment we were picked up until the end of our journey, every detail was meticulously planned and executed.
Ruben, the guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the wildlife and ecosystems. His expertise not only ensured we saw the Big Five but also taught us about the behaviors and habitats of countless other species. His enthusiasm was infectious, making each game drive exciting and educational.
The accommodations were superb, offering a perfect blend of comfort and wilderness. We stayed in beautifully appointed lodges that provided stunning views, excellent service, and delicious food. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and catered to our every need.
One of the highlights was the diversity of landscapes we explored, from vast savannahs to lush forests. Each location offered unique wildlife sightings and breathtaking scenery. The sunrise and sunset game drives were magical, providing the perfect lighting for photography and unforgettable moments.
Safety was a top priority throughout the trip, and we felt secure and well taken care of at all times.
I highly recommend Zanzi Trekking and Safaris for anyone seeking a top-tier safari experience. Whether you're a seasoned traveler or embarking on your first adventure, they will exceed your expectations. I can't wait to return and create more memories with them!

fantastic 8-day safari trip in Tanzania and Kenya
5/5

Thanks Zanzi! Honest and his team planned an excellent itinerary for us. We participated in an 8-day, 7-night Safari tour in Kenya and Tanzania. Our guide was very professional, sincere, and knowledgeable, showing us a multitude of animals and imparting their knowledge about them. The vehicles were well-maintained, clean, and comfortable to ride in. The accommodation arrangements were superb; for a budget tour, being able to provide private bathrooms and even staying in a lodge was truly great value for money! Honest was meticulous and attentive throughout, ensuring that everyone’s needs were met and making us feel very cared for. Many thanks to Honest, Jeff, and Ruben for their hard work, which allowed us to have an amazing East African adventure! We’re already considering coming back for a mountain climbing experience next time!

Plan your safari very early- possibly before you leave but definitely in your first week. The more people in your group, the cheaper the safari (4 day safari in Serengeti/north circuit will run $600-700 plus flights/bus if you have >2 people in your group, whereas it will be >$1200 if you are alone). I tried for 3 weeks to join groups but couldn’t find any companies that had groups to join, so couldn’t go to the northern circuit.
Instead I went on safari to the southern circuit in Selous. This was an awesome experience and we got to see tons of wildlife in the comfort of luxury tents (true 5 star experience with excellent food and service). You are truly immersed in wildlife 24 hours each day with giraffe walking by your showers. I woke to fresh morning tea just to see a herd of elephants walk right by my tent. Each day you're there you have a choice between a boat, walking or truck safari (2 total per day). The stars at night are the most brilliant I have ever seen (zero light pollution). There is a guard that patrols the camp for lions at all times and you are always escorted at night from the dinning tent back to your own tent (big cats will roam the camp site at times). I always felt comfortable and protected, although the animal sounds at night were pretty exciting. If you want to see pictures you can look at my flickr site at:

My friends previously went on safari at Serengeti with Sunny’s Safari, and they said they enjoyed that company.

It was a great expierience
5/5

We did a 8 day safari, 4 days walking in Loita Hills, 4 days Gamedrive in Nationalparcs.
We had a cook and a driver and the car was always available. The walking with the Masai was a great experience and the Gamedrive was also nice. We had the luck to see Hunting dogs.
The cook prepared excellent food and we were always well lokked after.
Thanks OT also for your help the last day in Nairobi and bringing us to the airport.

Amazing discovery
5/5

This safari was organised as part of an overland tour. The safari operator Oti had everything organised and made us feel extremely safe. We did a 3/4 day tour of Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara. He was very well informed and spoke excellent english. We managed to get upclose to 4 of the big 5. Even though we were camping, we were still very comfortable. Meals were all provided.
Since that trip my friend has been back for another tour and I intend to do the same in the near future. All in all we had a fantastic time and can't recommend this tour enough!

It was a joy to experience the wildlife, culture and spaciousness of Tanzania on our EASTCO safari.
5/5

My husband and I traveled on a 12 day custom safari with EASTCO in Oct/Nov 2013. We were very happy with all aspects of the trip. We had a wonderful time with our driver James. He really made the trip a memorable experience for us. We started our safari at Lake Victoria and visited the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, Tarangire, and Arusha Park. We stayed in a mixture of tented camps and lodges and were pleased with all of them especially the camp in the Serengeti and Boundary Hill in Tarangire. We saw so much; a lion kill a zebra, an abundance of cats, lion cubs playing, a rare sighting of a caracal, so many monkeys, herds of elephants , and so much more. We also had some very interesting cultural visits; a fishing village on Lake Victoria, a Maasai boma, and a school. Overall, it was a very great experience, James and everyone at EASTCO gave us a wonderful trip that we will never forget
