Overpriced.
2/5

For what we received the charges were exorbitant--the room was not in order upon arrival, water not hot, pool hours limited so that once one returns from the cruise the pool was closed, cruise time was fine but the distance and information limited, family rooms sleep six but only four allowed (????), price was more upon arrival than quoted in the email. Sorry, but we won't be staying there again. It just wasn't worth the price.

An amazing adventure, great mix of the simple and luxurious, a wonderful celebration of Kenya.
5/5

Can very happily recommend this safari company. For those on a budget it provides a fabulous safari itinery. Our guide Joseph was highly knowledgeable and a very good driver, and always willing and able to answer our questions. In the 7 days of our safari we covered many miles of Kenya seeing its beautiful and diverse landscape, and also saw a vast range of wildlife, some which was very hidden and only discovered through Joseph's eagle eye vision. I appreciated the chance of enjoying both the simple and the more luxury end of the market through a couple of very good value upgrades. We also enjoyed several days at Diani Beach after the safari which Best Camping organised for us, again an excellent value package and at a very good hotel. This was my first visit to Kenya after a 40 year gap, having spent my childhood here. I could not have wished for a better experience. Many thanks to all the team who made this possible, Shiraz, Imraan, Joseph, Thomas.

Fantastic Experience
5/5

I took a trip with Karibu safaris in kenya - coastal and beach trips(tsavo east and west). Both were great and aIso booked the 10 day/9 nights Group joining safari trip with them. I thought the camp sites in Tanzania & Kenya were fantastic - definitely exceeded my expectations. Ken the cook - I have to agree - he's a fantastic cook; I always looked forward to his creations. I think Karibu safaris offers top notch trips for a bargain price.

Great, smooth, enjoyable experience in Selous.
5/5

We took a 3 day tour to Selous. Tony picked us up from the hotel early morning and we drove to the hippo camp with a couple bathroom/lunch stops, the ride takes about 7 hours. When we arrived we went straight for the boat tour where you can see crocs and hippos. The rooms are nice with 2 single beds and a private bathroom, very basic but overall good. The staff of the hotel is very nice and the food is very tasty and abundant. Second day Tony droves in the reserve and made sure we saw as much animal as possible, plenty of hippos, impalas, zebras, giraffesand birds, we also managed to spot a family of elephants and a family of lions. Third day is a walking tour, we didn't see a lot of animals but the guide was very nice and explained us a lot about the trees and animals. Around the hotel there are plenty of squirrels, monkeys and baboons. Special thanks to Tony for being an awesome guide. Very enjoyable tour, we highly recommend Kanuth for your safari experience.

Great for Kenya, bad for Tanzania
3/5

We did an 8 day private safari this past summer, and KWSS offered the most reasonable price and flexible itinerary, plus they were really responsive on email. Once there, the experience was absolutely bipolar, with an excellent guide and experience in the Kenya part of the trip, vs. a terrible subcontractor and tons of problems on the Tanzania part.
