Hwange Day Trip
5/5

We enjoyed a terrific day venturing from Victoria Falls to Hwange national park.
Planning was handled very well from Tatenda. He was quick to respond to my various questions and provided thorough information. All our drivers and guides were terrific and we especially loved “Big M” our guide through the park. His infectious enthusiasm kept us engaged plus he is an expert at finding game with his “bush eyes”.

Amazing Wildlife and Warm Hospitality – A Truly Memorable Trip
5/5

We had the most amazing 5-day safari experience, staying at Hoyo Hoyo Safari Lodge and Umkumbe Safari Lodge. The drive from Johannesburg to Hoyo Hoyo was long but the scenery made it worthwhile.

Hoyo Hoyo was a perfect blend of luxury and nature. The staff was exceptional, offering 10/10 service, and the three-course meals were delightful. The lodge was spotless, and the waterhole right by the dining area gave us an incredible view of animals like elephants and buffaloes. The game drives were thrilling, and we saw so many animals, including leopards!

Umkumbe Safari Lodge had a different vibe—more family-friendly, but still a fantastic experience. The rooms were spacious with a fun animal theme, and being right by the river meant we had wildlife all around us. Our guide Jessica was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the wildlife. While the food was a bit limited, the bush walk and overall experience made up for it.

A huge shoutout to Wayne from Kruger Safari Co. He was responsive, helpful, and made the whole trip seamless, even with a last-minute change to our return plans. We’d definitely recommend this company for a stress-free safari adventure.

Unique experience - thanks to Explorers Wild Adventures!
5/5

Our safari with Explorers Wild Adventures was a unique experience. The coordination in the planning was excellent, Johann suggested a great tour for us and responded specifically to our plans by organizing a train ticket to Mombasa with a shuttle to our beach hotel afterwards. Even before departure, we were able to assure ourselves once again that we had made a good choice: at the counter I noticed that I had forgotten to apply for the eTA. What normally takes up to 3 days was accelerated to 1.5 hours by Johann and his visa team with good contacts, so that we were still able to make our flight - thanks again for that!

When we arrived at the airport in Nairobi, Bernard welcomed us and accompanied us for the 6 day tour through the Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli Park. On the drive through the country he told us a lot about life and culture in Kenya and we got along brilliantly. He has often demonstrated his driving skills on the slopes and thanks to his friendly nature and good networking with locals and other drivers, he has always been able to offer us the best experiences. The entire animal world: lions and elephants that passed directly in front of the van, rhinos, hippos... but also the impressive flora, Bernard always knew the answers to our questions thanks to his many years of experience.

We also really liked the selection of lodges. We would like to highlight the “Mara Empiris” which gave us a very familiar welcome and impressed us with typical local dishes. We visited the Masai village with the Masai "Moniku", who works in the Lodge, and were able to get an idea of traditional life there.

In short: we couldn't have asked for a better guide than Bernard, who grew on us with his always friendly and open nature, and we couldn't have imagined a better company than Explorers Wild Adventures, whose team fulfilled all of our wishes.

Incredible experience in every way
5/5

Truly amazing safari. We (Norwegian couple in our 30’s) booked a 4-day/3-night safari in central Serengeti, flying from Zanzibar via Arusha to Seronera Airstrip. We got offers from a couple of other companies as well, but settled on Kilipath because they made an itinerary that fit well with what we wanted for an acceptable price. They were also quick to reply to any questions.

Communication before the safari, through e-mail and WhatsApp, was without fault. Always quick and helpful replies. The lady from the office - Judith - followed up very well every step along the way, including a quick meet and greet on our way back from the safari. Impeccable service and very pleasant to deal with.

Our driver-guide Gelasius was present at the Seronera airstrip when we arrived. The car was clean and comfortable, and there was plenty of water and other drinks available. Our driver-guide seemed very knowledgeable, had a plan for every day and still adjusted quickly to whatever preferences we expressed. Genuinely nice guy.

Perhaps most importantly, we saw every animal we hoped to see and more. We got up close and got both good views and good pictures, but without scaring animals or ever feeling uncomfortable. We were likely somewhat lucky, but to me it's also obvious that we were in good and competent hands throughout.

The camp we stayed at was also very good. Excellent service, good food and a comfortable and well-equipped tent. We slept well and got the most out of our days in the Serengeti in every respect.

I would, without any reservations, recommend Kilipath safaris to a friend - or anyone else.

Choose Super Africa Wildlife and Adventure Safaris with caution.

1、【Excessive Charges from the Guide】
Masai Mara was the highlight of our trip, and we relied heavily on the guide’s ability to find animals. The day before heading to Masai Mara, we promised the guide: "If you can show us carnivores in Masai Mara, we will pay a tip of 10,000 Kenyan Shillings each day." We believed this was a fair amount for a tip. However, when we hiked for 15 minutes to the Mara River, which was supposed to be a complimentary activity, the guide and a ranger forcibly charged us a $40 entrance fee. To make matters worse, our teammates happened to see the guide and the ranger laughing and splitting money at the back of the vehicle.
2、【Deliberately Preventing Us from Seeing Animals】
After experiencing this unjust charge, we reported the issue to the guide's boss. The guide became very unhappy the entire afternoon. To retaliate, he turned off the radio used for locating animals, and we crawled along slow dirt roads all afternoon, seeing only a few antelope and no other wildlife. By the next morning, during our safari, he didn’t even open the roof of the vehicle, clearly indicating he wanted us to see no animals at all. The entrance fee to Masai Mara is $200 per day; for four people, that’s a total of $800 wasted. We flew for over ten hours to see animals in Masai Mara, only to have our experience ruined by the SAWAS travel agency.
3、【Late Departures and Early Returns】
The guide did not follow the schedule we provided. After agreeing to leave at 6 AM, he always postponed departure to 7 AM. The worst instance was in Nakuru, where we only had a total of three hours on safari that day.
4、【Inability of the SAWAS Owner to Manage His Guides】
I reported the above issues to the agency owner, but he was completely unable to manage the situation and even passed responsibility onto others.

Very reliable, making my trip to Africa both worry-free and enjoyable.
5/5

We had a wonderful five days. Our guide, Philip, adjusted the itinerary slightly according to our requests. He is very experienced and familiar with the terrain and routes, allowing us to see all the animals we wanted, many of which he spotted first. He was also very attentive to our needs, and the hotels he chose were excellent in terms of value for money. When we were taking photos, he even helped us find the best angles, which resulted in some truly satisfying shots.

The tour was well organized, fun, and memorable
5/5

Our tour operator Benson was helpful and communicative before, during, and after the trip. Our tour guide Geoffrey was friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend Tall Masai to friends planning a visit to Kenya's parks. If visiting Amboseli, just be prepared for a bumpy ride and lots of dirt!

A Memorable and Well-Organized Safari in Kenya
5/5

I have just concluded a 7-day, 6-night safari in Kenya, and I must say that the entire experience was thoroughly satisfying. The itinerary was well-crafted, providing a balance between relaxation and adventure.

1. The accommodation arrangements were excellent, featuring hotels with picturesque views both from the rooms and communal areas. Of particular note was our two-night stay at Little Zebra River hotel, where the experience was nothing short of spectacular. The ambiance, the comfort of the rooms, and the breathtaking scenery made it a standout segment of our trip.

2. Throughout the journey, we were chauffeured in a four-wheel-drive vehicle that was well-equipped, including bottled water for our convenience. This ensured we remained comfortable and hydrated during the long hours spent exploring the vast savannahs.

3. Our driver was exemplary in his role, not only for his warm and welcoming demeanor but also for his adeptness at tracking wildlife. We were fortunate enough to spot the Big Five – lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants, and rhinos – which was a significant highlight of the trip. Additionally, we witnessed lions in the midst of a hunt, a rare and thrilling sight that added an extra dimension of excitement to our safari.

4. I would like to extend a special thank you to Martin, who demonstrated remarkable patience and professionalism throughout the booking process and during the trip. His comprehensive and diligent responses to my inquiries made the planning phase seamless and helped alleviate any concerns I had before embarking on this adventure.

In summary, this safari in Kenya has been an outstanding experience, filled with beautiful sights, luxurious accommodations, and unforgettable encounters with wildlife. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone seeking an enriching and well-organized safari experience.

AMAZING TRIP TO THE HEART OF AFRICA
5/5

Unforgettable 6-Day Safari Experience

Last Auguts I had the pleasure of embarking on a 6-day safari adventure in northern Tanzania (August 25-29), and I can't speak highly enough of the experience. From start to finish, the attention to detail and the level of service provided by Eke was exceptional and went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of the trip was perfect. I felt attended to at all times, and the dedication and attention to detail was truly outstanding. Eke's expertise and friendly demeanor made the safari not only enjoyable but also deeply enriching.

Before the safari, Eke took the time to thoroughly answer all my questions and give me some tips to get ready for the journey. During the safari, the guide Maliaki was not only professional but also gently, funny and genuinely passionate about the wildlife and the environment. His enthusiasm was contagious, and he made every moment of the trip memorable.

The safari itself was a breathtaking journey through the four main parks of northern Tanzania: Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, and Tarangire. The diversity of landscapes and wildlife in these parks was simply astonishing. The highlight was undoubtedly seeing the Big 5: lions, elephants, buffalos, rhinoceroses, and leopards.

Each encounter was more awe-inspiring than the last. But it didn't stop there—along the way, I was thrilled to see a multitude of other species, including giraffes, herds of wildebeests, huge hippos, crocodiles, ostriches, zebras.... Every day brought new and exciting sightings.

I felt super well cared for and supported at all times by Eke, making the experience stress-free and truly enjoyable. Whether it was spotting the Big Five, learning about local cultures, or simply enjoying the breathtaking landscapes, the team's dedication made everything come together seamlessly.

I wholeheartedly recommend this safari to anyone looking for an extraordinary adventure. It exceeded my expectations in every way, and I’m already dreaming of my next trip! If you're considering a safari, look no further – this is the one you need to book.

Thanks Eke!
