Cannot recommend highly enough - great price for budget safari!
5/5

We booked a 2D/1N budget camping safari of Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater - the price we were given was fantastic and much cheaper than we had seen elsewhere. Richard (the manager) responded quickly to all our queries, and was great to deal with prior to the trip.
The safari itself was brilliant - we had a spacious, comfortable jeep, knowledgeable guide (Felix) and great cook who cooked us delicious dinner and breakfast and huge lunchboxes. We definitely did not go hungry! The parks are beautiful and you will see lots of wildlife whoever you go with - but I would highly recommend World Tours Tanzania for their professional and friendly service. We particularly loved the T-shirts we were given, and a bottle of 18% wine to enjoy at the campsite :)
Thank you for the trip of a lifetime!

Great safari with Siafu Tanzania Safaris
5/5

We found Siafu Tanzania Safaris on the internet and saw that they also have offices in Denmark, and we are glad we chose this company. I was with my work colleagues, 6 persones group and we had a wonderful time camping safari for 4 nights. Meals were freshly cooked each day by our own cook, packed lunch provided, some vegetarians in our group were well catered for. Our guide spoke good English and provided a lot of good information regarding the animals and nature. Leading up to our safari, communication was good, everything went smoothly including payment, and information concerning accommodation. The day before our safari, Guide from Siafu visited us at our hotel in Arusha to welcome us and ask if we had any questions. The next day the time for pick up was respected (not african time) and the 5 days spent on safari were fantastic. I can recommend Siafu Tanzania Safaris as a reliable company.

Excellent tour = excellent experience = excellent price!!!
5/5

We recommend!
We was 3 days: Lake Manyara, Empakaai Crater, Olmoti Crater, Olduvai Gorge, Ngorongoro Crater.
Richard is the best manager of the safari and recreation! Our driver (Frank) is the best professional. Our cook (Sokofo) was preparing a meal quickly and very tasty.
We spent the 1 night in Panorama, on the edge of the Great Rift Valley. WOOW!!!
2 night was in tent camp.
Frank found it and showed us all the African animals on safari . WOOW!!!
After traveling, Richard offered to stay in your hotel. Hotel was very quiet and clean.
Thank you for the pleasure!

Good Budget Safari
4/5

Communication with company was very good prior to safari. They were quickly responsive to any question that we had. Upon arrival, pick-up at the airport was smooth and tour group was able to arrange for in-town transportation for us as we had a full day in Arusha before the start of our safari. The driver was professional and Footslopes arranged for a good price.

Footslopes walked us to an ATM machine and helped us pick out SIM cards and then properly load them on our phones. This was really appreciated.

The safari vehicle was nice and comfortable with a pop-top to be able to take good pictures of the animals.

The wildlife and bird watching was excellent in all of the parks we visited. Our guide was quite knowledgeable about animals and birds.

This is a budget safari and if you're not as worried about dining selections and hot water and more worried about animals and birding, then this is the safari for you.

We do recommend this tour but with the knowledge that it is a budget/value option.

Excellent Flexibility and Value
5/5

Due to extremely limited time while attending a conference in Kigali, I reached out to Katona to see what options were available for a one-day trip. Their team suggested Mgahinga Gorilla National Park just across the Ugandan border, which was a bit further and a little bit less convenient because of the border crossing, but for $1200 savings in the permit and a much more intimate experience (I was the only visitor who had signed up for gorilla tracking on a sunny Saturday) it was definitely worth it! My driver and guide for the day, Elias, was flexible and professional managing the complicated logistics with a calm attitude so I could fully enjoy the beautiful journey and my time in the park. I would highly recommend Katona and hope to hire them again for when I return to Uganda with more time to explore at a more leisurely pace!

I had a terrible experience and poor customer service. My booking was mishandled.
1/5

I live in the USA, I asked my sister to book a 3 day trip to Masai Mara for me. She was sent an email with options. We opted for the promotion bornfire adventures were offering at the time. We were not give much details of the place, no brochures or the name of the place we would be staying. The email said "Masai Mara budget tented camp" my goodness! I have never in my entire life seen such a filthy place by name
"manyata camp" Molded tents, dusty beddings, stinky pit latrine welcome toilets, flies all over the place not to mention the filthy bathrooms. When I asked to be upgraded I was told to cancel my booking and start a new one paying at a 100%. I opted to check out soonest, I was told that was going to cost me because I was inconveniencing other guests in the vehicle. I had 2 small children, I was left feeling helpless and forced to put up with the crapy place for 3 day. When i complained, I was told I had a personality issue because nobody else had ever complained of the place. I have pictures of the place.

Great value for money
4/5

Communications were great with foot slopes. We got picked up and dropped off at the airport and they provided us with 2 extra nights at the hotel free of charge. The hotel in Arusha (Venice Hotel) was clean, had AC and even hot showers. The food was average but this was to be expected. The safari itself was excellent. Be prepared to spend a lot of time in the jeep getting to and between different parks. Having said that our driver had 15 years of experience which meant that we saw all the animals (including the big 5) we wanted to and had a fantastic time.

A really fun, enjoyable and relaxing experience.
5/5

We had an amazing time in Tanzania over our 10-day stay. We spent most of our time out and about in 2 different Safari parks. Our guides Emmanuel and Douglas were very knowledgable and helpful. Always willing to adress our concerns or satisfy our whims. It really was sort of like build your own adventure. A couple of specific encounters come to mind. Like when we asked to try true local cuisine we were shown to this nice and cozy, out-of-the way place which you would probably never find by yourself. They were willing to make extra time for us to do stuff that wasn't originally planned. Like taking us to a snake centre because one of us really wanted to see snakes. During the safaris themselves they showed excellent knowledge of the wild-life. For example the habits of the animals, where to find them, local folk tales and legends, all sorts of bits and pieces and even if we managed to stump them with a question they had books on hand to find the answers for us. Maybe most importantly of all they were extremely friendly and approachable. They made us feel welcome and that we never had to hold back.

All in all we had the time of our lives and left feeling like we had found a home away from home.

Africa at his Best
5/5

In April I visited Africa for the third time. After South Africa and Zambia I decided to travel to Botswana. The tour Operator "Mogalekwena Safari Tours" brought us to the Okavango Delta and what can I say... It was amazing. Africa is in my eyes the most fascinating continent and this trip showed us why. We saw lots of wild animals and our experienced guides spotted them in every Corner. They could answer all our questions and you coul feel that they love their job and their country. They have beenlways friendly and with lots of humour they made this trip a bit more remindable. The landscape in Okavango Delta is unique and not comparable to anything I saw before. I was very happy that the chiefs could make vegetarian dishes and the food was fine! I will never forget this amazing Safari experience and already look Forward to my next Trip to Africa..
