Superbly well organised and executed from start to finish and exceeded expectations.
5/5

Annette was a beautiful communicator as was our guide (Javid). We were kept well informed and though adjustments were necessary during the tour, these were made efficiently and seamlessly. The time-keeping was superb, the choice of lodges was excellent, the guide was knowledgeable, courteous and considerate in his driving and concern for us as visitors. The tour exceeded my expectations in that we were escorted at all times in a vehicle just for the two of us; we were given as many drives as we desired; the optional tours were offered but not forced upon us; we were sent off and greeted back at the airport by Annette; and we were given a an unexpected gift at the airport. Javid was a joy to be with and his enthusiasm and love of the animals enabled us to truly express our thrill at seeing everything we wished to see. All went totally to plan and we had a holiday of a lifetime.

Awesome.
5/5

What a great company, when Annette tells you not to stress, and I am a stresser, you don't need to stress. She had everything organised, accommodation was wonderful & our guides were The Best!
The Guides, Joesph for Kenya was awesome, loads of fun and we saw heaps. It was a great Kenyan experience with him.
Gabriel for Tanzania was also great, very quietly spoken, reserved and respectful. We also had alot of fun with Gabriel and it to was also a wonderful Tanzanian experience. I still get a thrill when I think of the time when we with Gabriel and we came upon a pride of 17 Lions coming down a hill through the grass stalking the Buffalo. I didn't know which direction to point the camera. This has to be my highlight of the whole trip.
These 2 Guides were awesome and I would definitely request them again.
The only thing that was a draw back was the vehicle for Kenya. Kenya has the worst roads and we had a Pop Top Van, it was very rough and uncomfortable on the public roads, I actually had to get massages to relieve the back aches I was getting from it, once you were in the Parks it was good though, it should be a 4x4 like Tanzania has.
I did actually speak to Annette about this.
But over all, Highly, Highly recommend Boundless Africa Journeys and would definitely use them again.

Every aspect of my Safari Experience was perfect!!
5/5

We had a larger group that required two drivers/guides, and both of them were outstanding. We didn't miss out on seeing any animals, and actually saw 2 different leopards on the trip. Throughout the safari, both guides gave us fascinating facts about the animals, and seemed to have a much better eye for spotting them than other Safari tours we saw on the road. Safari also involves lots of bumpy and dusty roads, and they took extra care and attention to their path to make sure the ride was as smooth as possible.

Just Excellent!
5/5

I cannot begin to thank Annette enough for the wonderful experience my friends and I had on safari. The communication was always excellent even with the time difference and she thought of every detail (and I mean EVERY detail). Our accommodations were wonderful in all the lodges.
Our guides Enoch and Japheth always went the extra mile to get you the right angles and were a wealth of flora and fauna knowledge. Thanks to our guides we saw two rare spectacular sightings of leopards in both Samburu and Masai Mara. I highly recommend Boundless Africa Journeys to anyone looking for a great safari experience.

Best safari company ever!
5/5

From day one, it was fantastic. Our guide was Adrian, and I have not met a more patient, educated, and thoughtful man. He could rattle obscure facts about animals off the top of his head and would answer any question, no matter how simple. He knew exactly where to go for the best views of animals, and he was especially good about maneuvering around some traffic jams in the park, which is sadly becoming part of the safari experience. Because of Adrian, we saw ALL of the big five-- except a leopard. He even managed to find us a rhino, which was pretty cool. One morning we saw lions and hyenas fighting over a kill, and later we saw five lionesses walking with their 13 cubs. He knew exactly where to go for all of the action. Every single day of the safari was filled with amazing animal after amazing animal.

Poor organisation and not true to their word
1/5

This trip was so bad that I don't know where to start. Firstly, they provided us with the wrong price online. When we went to the shop in Nairobi, they told us we had to pay extra because we were not Kenyan residents. They knew we were from the UK when we asked for a quote.
Secondly, it was the worst organised trip ever. We booked a 3 day/2 night trip in Masai Mara, and after reading about different trips, we were promised an afternoon game drive on day 1, full day game drive on day 2 and morning game driver on day 3. We were told to meet up with our driver outside the shop on Sunday at 6:45am and no later! We arrived at 6:30am on the Sunday and there was nobody in sight, nor was the office open. We stood outside in the cold for an one hour hoping that someone would come. After 30 minutes there was a random person with a bonfire adventure top on. When we spoke to him, he told us that we were not his driver and there were no more drivers today. It took us an additional 30 minutes and numerous phone calls to get in touch with our driver. He told us to walk 10 minutes to get to his car.
When we got to the car, it was not a 4x4 as promised, it was a small old-aged van that carried 7 people in the back. We told him what we were promised and he said that the company doesn't have any. We then had to wait for 2 hours because someone was running late. By the time we left, we had 7 people in the car and you literally had hardly any room for your legs.
We knew the journey would be long but because how bad the vehicle was, it was like a rollercoaster. No suspension at all.
Our hotel, Simba Oryx, was incredible! Both the room and the food. I could not recommend it more. Its worth noting though that the hotel was included in the costs but totally separately run so you book any hotel through any safari agency.
When we arrived at our hotel, it was already 4pm and he said the park closes at 6pm. As others were staying in different places, he said he would be back in 30 minutes. He arrived at 5:15 and by the time we got to the safari, we had to get park tickets and so didn't enter until 5:50. We literally drove around for 10 minutes.
The second day, he was late in the morning, picked everyone else up after us. This was after saying he would pick us up first. He gave us a different reason for why he was late to another couple and we ended up missing the run rise.
Now what annoyed me today was day 3. We were promised a morning game drive. Instead he took us to the Masai Village. I explained that this was not the plan but nobody else spoke up and he said that this is always the programme. They expect everyone who comes to the village to pay around $20 per person. I told them that I had paid for everything upfront (and it wasn't cheap!) so there was no way I was paying.
We left the mara at around 11am. Total waste of a day.
In summary, I ended up paying for one day of safari in an uncomfortable over-crowded vehicle. The company is a joke to deal with and don't stick to any promises. Do yourself a favour and stay away from Bonfire Adventures!

beautiful trip
5/5

My wife and I were very happy with our choice of Fanjove as the end point of a three week Tanzania vacation. This trip exceeded our wildest imagination. We were up close to all the animals we wanted to see with a perfect opportunity to photograph them and to observe their behavior. It was a long flight getting to Kilimanjaro, but well worth it.

A great trip
5/5

We booked the famous 5-days trip Taragiri, serengeti und Ngorongoro in der north of Tansania. We had a great time in a group with 7 guests and an driver and a cook. Everything worked well and the best was the experiece with this fantastic group. The driver took us to the right places and explaned everything and the cook prepares really fantastic meals. The organisation was great and even the hotel in Arusha was good.
