About: Biwakwango
Three perfect and amazing weeks for discovering South Africa, Swaziland and Lesotho
5/5

Preparation of the safari was very easy : Biwakwango was able to understand our expectations very quickly ! During the trip, all reservations were ok and were in accordance with the descriptions given. We followed the many advices given by Biwakwango and we have never been disappointed (roads, view points, accomodations).

Customised safari with great guide and wonderful hotels. Great experience with them.

We had a perfect 3 weeks honeymoon experience with this agency. Nothing to regret. They even took care of us when our flight coming back home was overbooking and we had to expend one extra night in Nairobi.

About: Uganda
How would you NOT go to Uganda?!

5/5

We were originally planning to go to Tanzania and Kenya, bet kept reading on in the guide book. When we found out you could see all the typical safari animals (lions, giraffes, elephants, hippos, zebras, rhinos, leopards, antilopes etc) AS WELL as to go chimp tracking and gorilla tracking, we were sold.

The great thing is that even with such high expectations we were not disappointed at all. What a country. So green and lush (thanks to 2 rain periods + rain inbetween), comfortable tempareture (thanks to a high altitude - most of the country sits 1000 meters above sea level), and a very varied nature and scenery (from flat savannah to rain forest to roaring mountains).

I have never been to a safari before so I must admit I don't know how many animals you will usually see, but let's just say it was not an unusual problem to try to photo an elephant - with the giraffe popping in an "ruining" the shot!

I also liked that there is no sense of mass tourism and there are rather few tourists there. Very nice wibe.

(On a general note, and not something we actually noticed in any way, being a woman and a man, Uganda has horrendous views - and laws - on homosexuality).

Wildlife: Not a great diversity of game, or big numbers, but seeing Gemsbok, Ostrich and Sprinbok in stunning desert scenery was a major highlight.
Scenic beauty: Absolutely unique – wonderful mix of dunefields, rocky outcrops and dry riverbeds with massive acacias. The freedom to move between selected campsites on a self-drive safari was great.
Bush vibe: This park had more of a wilderness vibe that a bush vibe.
Birding: Birding around some of the waterholes (e.g. Ganab) was excellent in the mornings – Sand Grouse and very large groups of Ostrich in these areas.

South Africa is a great place to go for people who want "nature" with some luxury (in terms of European Standards) and the perfect country for "Africa Beginners". You can find everything you like, but of course most interesting for people interested in Wildlife. And there is plenty if you go to the right places.

A Life Changing Experience in Tanzania
5/5

Our trip was so well planned and perfectly met our expectations for the kinds of things we wanted to do and experience. The trips leaders/guides/drivers met our every need and took such good care of us with personal attention and sincere care for our well being. The leaders also were so full of knowledge about Tanzania; we learned so much! Everyone we met there was so welcoming kind and generous. It was an amazingly wonderful trip; we are so glad we didn't pass this up; we want to go back.....but only with Viewpoint Adventures. As a not-for-profit business, we are assured that our money is well spent and any revenue they generate goes to help those in need in Tanzania, especially Bashay School and Shalom Orphanage.
