Nice stop on the way to Etosha
I've spent just an afternoon at Waterberg, anyway trail is good and easy to walk without a guide.
At the top there is a really nice view of the plateau and the country around.
Unluckily there are many monkeys around and sometimes they can be aggressive also if you stay away from them, they even broke our car antenna while we were trekking!

Review about Tarangire National Park by geospace
Close to Arusha and we were lucky to see leopard here though many of the plains animals had left the park for the season

Review about Mikumi National Park by Justin
Great bang for your buck park and easy to access from Dar es Salaam. The highway passing through the park is strange, but for a budget price you are potentially able to see some predators and herds passing over from Selous.

Review about Lake Manyara National Park by Justin
I'm not really a fan of Manyara, as the tourist circuit in the North tends to get very clumped up around these parks in my opinion. The game sighting is nothing to write home about, other than maybe flamingos. There are much better parks in Tanzania.

Review about Arusha National Park by Justin
It's a solid park and easy to fit in with any travel plans that pass through Arusha. There are definitely better parks in Tanzania.

Monkeying about in Arusha National Park
Arusha National Park is a small park close to the town of Arusha and Kilimanjaro Airport. While it boasts a rich variety of wildlife, you shouldn't expect the same game-viewing experience you will find in other national parks of Tanzania's northern circuit. It does have numerous black-and-white colobus monkey which are easily visible and are not found in the other parks. Common animals include giraffe, buffalo, zebra, bushbuck and warthog. In the northeast, the shallow alkaline Momella Lakes provide habitat for numerous species of water birds including Lesser and Greater Flamingo. Forest birds require work to see but experienced birders may be rewarded for their efforts. This park can be by-passed if on a tight schedule and or budget. I rate thes park Poor for wildlife photography.

Review about Toro-Semliki Wildlife Reserve by Shannon
Semliki is great for birding but lacks an abundance of other wildlife. We saw lots of birds, antelope, warthogs, monkeys and buffalo but not much else. There are a few elephants and chimpanzee but they are not always easy to find. The foothills of the Rwenzoris above the savanna was pretty gorgeous.

Very beautiful destination
The Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangine Park have been amazing, instead we have taken a bad decision going to Manyara lake, because we expected to find flamingos but it wasn't the correct season.
