Review about South Africa by Steve
South Africa is a great destination, with experiences to suit all different tastes.
Cape Town is a beautiful city, the Cape Peninsula is a fantastically scenic area, as is Stellenbosch and the Cape wine country just outside of Cape Town. Johannesburg is different altogether, and students of apartheid will have a first hand experience of the legacy of apartheid and study it close up. We did not go to the bustling commercial melting pot of Durban, but would love to do so. We did go to Sun City, but did not go on any game drives there.

I love Kenya but I think we should put as much attendtion to wildlife as to the people there.

Our African Safari with Africa VIP Travel and Kambona Mollel exceeded our expectations
My spouse, brother-in-law and I traveled with Kambona on a photo safari and it was magnificent. I wanted to book directly with an African-based company and wanted to bypass the large travel companies that obviously take a percentage of the cost of a trip. It was a great feeling knowing that the entire cost of the trip went to an African entrepreneur. I have nothing against the large international travel companies but wanted to support a smaller company in Africa. Wow, the communications were amazing!!! I would send an email from my home in Canada with a question and in one case the answer came back 11 minutes later. If Kambona would be unavailable for a few days he let me know in advance in case I had any pressing questions. I thought that going on a safari with just 3 people, rather than a group, would be too expensive but the cost was well worth the trip. Whatever we wanted to do, e.g., spend more time watching lions, we did. This was excellent rather than having to be subjected to the vote of a larger group that wanted to take a photo and move on somewhere else. Kambona was very knowledgeable, carried lots of reference books and often joined us for supper at the end of day. Our days were well planned and we saw everything we hoped to see. It was always our decision to move on to our next stop. The itinerary, service and accommodations were excellent. Although we had a minor vehicle problem (as did some other very large tour companies), which is not unexpected on the rough roads, our problem was fixed very quickly. What stands out in my mind is that when our trip started we were customer and client. When we left Kambona we felt we were leaving a very close friend.

less animals, no lions, no hyaenas. But excellent safari - vibe, if you make a guided march.
Providential from start to finish
Meeting Tony on the flight to Uganda was the beginning of our great experience with Speke Uganda Holidays. How well we could work out the last minute details of payment was great evidence of a good business man who could also understand the unique circumstances of our very specialized package. The time in the Murchison Park was a great highlight for our group which needed this time to unwind from the intense time we had just come from in north west Uganda. Thanks for picking us up in the north and bringing us to the airport, with such a great times viewing such abundant and beautiful creations of God, who made all this possible.

The right choice to experience the real Africa
I first dealt with the team BIWAKWANGO in 2009, for a trip with my son in South Africa. The travel agency that I contacted organized his travels through it. We were a group of 8 people , and it is Thierry, the founder of BIWAKWANGO, who accompanied us.
After a visit in Johannesburg (the city center, Mandela house , Soweto ), we went to the Kruger Park. We stayed in two camps, different in their design and organization , which allowed us to have a different approach. We stayed in a private nature reserve bordering the Kruger Park. Our camp was reserved, so that the activities were organised according to the group's wishes. We did a few walking safaris, which allows to get closer to animals. During the fist one, we found ourselves about 30 meters away from a group of rinhoceros . Thrills guaranteed! The highlight of this trip was to introduce us to camps and private nature reserves off the beaten track, with a guide who adapted to our requests.
So I naturally thought of BIWAKWANGO when I wanted to experience Africa with my partner. I contacted Thierry asking him to organise a trip in Zambia , with a budget ceiling . As the period of the trip did not correspond to a trip listed in the catalog of BIWAKWANGO, Thierry set up a customized trip, reserving lodges, domestic flights, transfers between lodges, so we had nothing to organise on site and could completely enjoy the trip without any worries. As usual, Thierry found camps and lodges off the beaten track. It matched our expectations even if all of them were not of the same quality, we were well welcomed every time, and each had a paticularity which made it very nice.
This trip is certainly one of the most beautiful trips (if not the most beautiful trip) that I did. Only problem now is that I do not know how to offer a better trip to my companion!!

There are many different stunning game reserves. Some are very dangerous and you have absolutely to keep you on the safety rules. If you follow this rules, you will have an unforgettable experience.

Review about Ngorongoro Crater by Chris M.
If you're short on time and want to see big game, head straight to Ngorongoro. You'll see everything but giraffes here. There's so much wildlife it almost feels like a zoo.

Review about Kenya by Christy Turner, Calgary AB
I felt safe in Kenya, this is not true in other parts of Africa. The parks delivered a huge abundance of animals and the people were beyond friendly and caring. Simply amazing destination.
