Fabulous experience and memory for life
Fully prepared and full of expectations we, mother and son, arrived in Tanzania for our Kilimanjaro expedition and safari organized by African Wildcats. Both surpassed our expectations! The Kili expedition was of course tough but such a great experience. We were escorted by Saidi and his crew and they all did a fabulous job! So kind, caring, experienced, wise and sensible. Amazing food, thank you Paulo. We loved the singing of our crew, especially when they joined us, singing, in the last part of our way back to base camp at the end of summit day. African Wildcats decision not to start summit day at midnight is a really good one. It helps you climbing and enjoying this tough last climb and makes sure that you'll have the whole summit, under the sun in the snow, to yourself. No one else on the summit makes the feeling of invincibility even bigger.
After 6 days on the Kili, we had a few relaxing safari-days with our very experienced guide Ole. He guided us to the right spots. We saw many animals and often really close. The Sangaiwe tented lodge, where we stayed the first night, is exceptionally beautiful; almost a pity we only arrived there at the end of the afternoon.
Thank you African Wildcats, for this fabulous experience and memory for life.
We will highly recommend African Wildcats Expeditions to anyone planning on visiting Tanzania for the Kilimanjaro expedition and safari.

Well-planned 4-day safari through Tanzania's Tarangire, Serengeti, & Ngorongoro national parks.
Fantastic four-days safari through Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro! Perfect, on time service. The accommodations were superb and my driver/guide, Sarima, knew exactly where the Big Five might be and were! I couldn't be more pleased and satisfied. Absolutely a five-star adventure! Look no further. Highly recommended!

Too many changes in places and campsites.
I booked a 14 days safari and the day of the payment I was told that I may have to change to a different group but still I would do my plan. Changing groups became very inconvinient because when you change group on a daily basis tobody counts on you the day before to make decisions regarding wake up time or optional visits but I couldn´t complain about it. My complains during the trip came when they wanted to change my plan. At the office while I finished paying the 1950 dollars they told me that I would do that plan even if there was no group. That was a untruth, everytime they didn´t have a full van (9 people of which three wouldn´t have a window to see animals) they tried to put me in groups that didn´t go where I was supposed to be going. I complained strongly twice and stopped them from changing my plan but in three ocasions not even complaining I could stop it. They removed a game drive from my plan in Masai Mara, they didn´t give me chance to go to Olduvai Gorge in Tanzania and there was a night in which they changed my campsite (coincidentally the camp changes were always towards ones of worse quality). All in all I enjoyed the trip because nature is impresive, I saw the big five and many beautiful nature scenes and the people that I met were amazing. If you are thinking about booking make sure they can fullfill their commitments, sometimes if they bring you to a different place, even if they promise you´ll do all the parks contracted it may be not worth it because they drove you too far away to go back.

A once in a lifetime experience, to tick off "No.1" on my bucketlist.
Experience Uganda was fantastic in all aspects of a Tour Company. Kevin rang me in Australia after my inquiry, relaying what I wanted to do in Uganda.
Trekking Silverback Gorillas in Bwindi Forest had been "No.1'' on my bucketlist for many decades.
He quicly put tgether a great Itinerary, that included staying at a Volcanic Lake resort, Trekking the Gorillas, organising accomadation at a beautiful guesthose close to Entebbe airport called Karibu, transported us to Jinja and back so we could experience Wildwaters Resort and rafting on the Victoria Nile. His staff were awseome and nothing was any trouble with Brett explaining our trek prior to departure with great advice.
I wish we had longer to explore Uganda, as I am sure Kevin and "Experience Uganda" could have planned more fantastic experiences.
Now back to my bucket list.......

They started a burn the day we got there so it was smokey and there weren't a lot of animals around.

tO BE THIS CLOSE TO WILDLIFE WAS AMAZING....ONCE IN A LIFETIME!
We had our arrangements made with Go safari. They were great. They booked at the Mohabetsi reserve at Kruger which was spectacular. Jock and Nina who managed the facility when we were there were superb. Jock was also our driver and wild life expert during our daily drives in the bush. His knowledge of the area, of the animals and his attentiveness to his passengers were outstanding. The lodging and food was excellent. I strongly recommend both Go Safari and the Mohabetsi reserve if you are planning a safari.

GREAT
We really loved our 3-day safari to the Mikumi park.
Our guide, Charles, was the best guide we could imagine. He really did his very best for us to make it an unforgettable experience.
Unfortunately we didn't see the lions. We were looking for them for many hours. Our guide felt sorry for that, but ofcourse it's not his fault. You cannot plan nature so.....
Our accommodation was good. The bed was good, we slept well. But unfortunately there was no elektricity and warm water before 6h in the morning. So we have to wash ourselves with cold water and a flashlight because we left for game drive early in the morning.
The ride from Mikumi and Dar Es Salaam was rather long. I think we almost did about 7h to get there. We read it would only take 4h so this was not wat we expected. But our guide/driver did a great job. He was at our hotel in Dar Es Salaam at the right time, he drove very carefull but fast so this was definitely not his fault!
But these little setbacks were nothing compared to the fun and the experience we had.
We saw many wild animals from a close distance, we loved the food at the restaurant in the Mukimi park, and oh... what a view from there.
We heard the elephants next to our room at night.
We loved the peace and rest at the park, away from the bussy center of Dar Es Salaam.
It was like a dream come true!!!
