He was extremely knowledgeable, caring and patient. His years of experience is obvious immediately.
5/5

From the moment I had contact with Brenda I was impressed by her style. She was communicative, efficient and always pleasant.
I think the price for the trip was very fair. We were picked up in Itigi and took a long drive to Tarangire. It was not the chore I thought it would be. Kakasii made it interesting and pleasant. Our lodge (Tarangire Simba) was luxurious and comfortable. The food was delicious. We were treated to a herd of elephants and zebra when we sat on the patio. Our game drives were chock full of sights. No shortage of animals. It was a pleasant surprise that we had opportunity to stop at comfortable rest areas with tables and clean bathrooms. Kakasii timed everything perfectly.
We saw the Ngorongoro Crater which was very different than where we had been. At first glance I didn't think there would be as much to see. I was so wrong. We saw huge herds of Zebras, Cape Buffalo, Wildebeast among others. The icing on the cake were the lions. We waited a while when they were hiding in the brush. Eventually the gorgeous male with his huge mane got up to take a walk and two females and two cubs followed giving us a phenomenal show.
Before going to the airport I was happy to have lunch with Kakasii, Brenda and their son Max.
You can't go wrong with Tanzania Choice Safaris!

Horriable experience! Do not select it as the whole company is cheating you all the way !

Do not book with Qualified Tours Tanzania; it was a terrible experience. My friends and I traveled to East Africa in May 2024 through this agency. They defrauded me of $2000, which has not been returned to date. The $2000 was divided into two parts: one part was for a night's hotel in Zanzibar that the agency failed to book, and they asked me to cover the cost with the promise of reimbursing me later; the other part was for the entrance fees and overnight charges at the Serengeti and the crater, where the agency claimed a system error prevented them from making the reservation and asked me to pay with my card, again promising reimbursement. Since returning home, I have been urging them to return the fees, but after five months, I have not received any payment.

Do not book with this company; you will become as miserable as me !!!!!

I promise what i said is 100% percent ture!!!!!!

Good choice.
5/5

Spirit of Kenya organized our 8-day adventure on Safari in Kenya and Tanzania. During the trip, the organizer met our expectations in terms of transport, accommodation and food. What's more, we were lucky and nature revealed its secrets to us, allowing us to see its beauty with our own eyes. Thanks to our adventure, we looked at the life of wild animals in their natural environment. We would like to thank Immanuel and Gitari for drawing our attention to the smallest details, allowing us to better understand the behavior and customs of the nature around us. We definitely recommend everyone to overcome the hardships of the African wilderness and go on an adventure with Spirit of the Kenya.

Unforgettable 5-day safari!
5/5

What an amazing 5-day safari for our honeymoon! We saw all the highlights – the Big 5, the Great Migration river crossing, all the big cats, and even witnessed lions hunting multiple times – all thanks to our incredible safari guide, Gerry.

Gerry is by far the best guide we’ve ever had on a trip and we’re so glad he was there to show us around Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and the Serengeti. He not only knows all the hidden spots within each park but he’s also built a network of relationships with other safari guides. This means he always knows where the action is each day and which areas to visit if you’re looking for specific animals. He was also a lot of fun to be around and extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife, the parks, and Tanzanian culture.

We also loved the vehicle from Savannah Explorers – it was one of the best maintained and equipped vehicles we saw in the parks. Since you spend all day out there on safari, it’s ideal to have a comfortable and reliable safari vehicle. We also appreciated Gerry’s excellent driving which made us feel safe the entire trip.

Gerry and Savannah Explorers made our safari unforgettable and we highly recommend them to anyone planning a Tanzanian adventure. We can’t wait to visit again!

Very Good Work
4/5

The Operator’s service was very good in terms of finding an excellent Driver - who at the same time is the Tourist Guide.

I would advise future clients who are moving from the Airport to the meeting point to get an Uber instead of paying a taxi. The difference is almost 8x.

Also, prevent from not having wifi connection during the Safari since some of the budget camps do not count with wifi.

Overall the experience is amazing!

Sky Theme Safaris offer a well-rounded and an incredible experience! Highly recommend
5/5

We recently had the pleasure of traveling to Zimbabwe and Botswana with Sky Theme Safaris. We did their 9-Day Victoria
Falls+Chobe+Makgadikgadi+Okavango Delta tour and I highly recommend it.

This tour was a breathtaking journey through two of Southern Africa's most stunning countries. From the majestic Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe to the rich wildlife of Botswana's Okavango Delta, every moment was filled with awe and adventure.

Organization and Planning: From the moment I inquired about the tour, Olly (owner of Sky Theme Safaris) and his team were responsive and thorough. They helped me customize my itinerary to include all the highlights I wanted to see, such as Victoria Falls and the wildlife of Chobe National Park. Their attention to detail made the planning process smooth and stress-free.

Accommodations: The lodges and hotels selected were fantastic! Each place was comfortable, clean, and offered breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. The staff at each location were friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience.

Vegetarian Food Requirements: We were particularly impressed with Olly and team accommodated our vegetarian dietary needs. Every meal was delicious offering a variety of options that made dining a pleasure. They truly went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our meals.

Guided Tours: Our guide, Brian, was incredible—knowledgeable, enthusiastic and always ready to answer questions. He made each experience engaging and memorable. His passion for the region’s wildlife and culture truly enhanced the tour. We spotted hippos, crocodiles, elephants, zebras, lions, buffaloes and many birds while learning about the unique ecosystem from our guide.

Activities: Olly and team arranged a wonderful mix of activities, from exhilarating safaris in Chobe National Park to an adventurous drive in the Okavango Delta. The boat safari on the Chobe River offered an incredible perspective of wildlife. Every day was filled with adventure, and we appreciated the variety they offered.

Customer Service: Throughout the trip, Olly and Brian checked in to ensure everything was going smoothly, more so given our parents who are senior citizens (above 70 yrs of age) were travelling with us. It was reassuring to know that they were just a call away if we needed assistance.

Final Thoughts: Overall, my experience with Sky Theme Safaris was exceptional and it was worth every penny. They provided a seamless and unforgettable adventure through Zimbabwe and Botswana. If you’re looking for a well-organized tour with amazing experiences, look no further than Olly and Sky Theme Safaris!!

Unreliable people. Unfortunately we paid for everything at the beginning
2/5

Improvised agency. We take home good memories because the safari (with whichever agency you do it with) is exciting

We had a lot of problem considering what we paid:
1) in the agreed plan there was 8 Moment of game drive, at the end we did 5! We lost 3 moments to have game drive due to fault/problem in the organization of this agency....(as you know games drive are the main reason of this trip and the reason why the people pay a lot of money)
2) Jasto Safari has included in our plan the a specific day trip (guided nature walk). It was in the "included activities" not in the “extra activties” , but also if it was in our plan we had to pay 70$. Not a nice surprise
3) we spent 1 night in an hotel completly different comparing what we paid. In general this in not a problem for us, but after 8 hour in the car, if we have paid for a 4/5 stars hotel with spa, we were not happy to discover that it was a very dirty 1/2 star hotel (they told us, the same day, that our was overbooking...)
4) In our plan there was a dinner included in Nairobi but we found out the same day that we had to paid for that (other 70$....)
5) They completly forgot to organize accomodation and meals for the entire last day, for this reason we paid also one lunch, one dinner and one accomodation more… (other 150$)
6) an entire day lost due to issue with the Van (From 7:00am to 7:00pm on the road: no lunch, just bought some chocolate on the road).. I know that it could happen but it is inconceivable to be told that it can happen and not to take it personally!
7) In the safari all people had a jeep and only us an old Van…
8) Our arrival at 5:30am we wait outside the airport around 50 minutes for the pick up...

Considering all these problem we tried to ask a partial refund. They proposed us 140$, I think that is not proportionate, but I accepted...I asked 6 times for an update on payment (in 3 months) and each time they (I spoke to Jared) told me ‘we will do it next week’. Obviously this refund was never made....

The last comment is about Steve, our driver. He is a good man and good worker. Considering all problems he helped us every time

An increadible tour with explanation of every detail by a great guide, which we can highly recommend
5/5

The tour was incredible. Our guide Klaus (local name Twaha) was that well prepared, that we never had any problems or missunderstandings. He picked us with a sign at the airport and drove / convoyed us the whold trip until he brought us back to the airport after 7 days. Every single guesthouse / lodge was realy nice and we has very good breakfast / lunch / dinner. The highlight was for sure that he did everything for us to see as many animals as possible. Some rides in the early morning / some during the day and also some night rides. I never thought that we can come so close the all of these animal. Everytime he explained very good abd he was very helpful. Even during the rides he did everything for us, e g picking some fruits at the street market / buying local lim cards / showing us the local nightlife in Kampala and the streetmarkets. And important was, that we never felt afraid. We got that nice photos and videos of all animals and we can definitely recommend the ride with a 5 star vote. We became good friends and i m sure we will still keep in contact with Klaus :) Thanks for that incredible experience :)

Bucket list safari experience
5/5

I am a solo traveler and booked a group joining safari with Tanzania pilgrimage. I was nervous at first with it being a new company with not many reviews but all my fears turned out to be unfounded. Not only, did Novatus answer all my numerous emails he personally picked me up from the airport on my first day in tanzania. Out of all the safari companies i reached out to on safaribookings i chose Tanzania Pilgrimage because Novatus was never pushy or rude in his responses about a quote. The safari overall was excellent, i saw all the animals that i wanted to see, the food was always good and the accommodations with the exception of one was great. The group I was placed with were lovely people and I enjoyed their company. I wouldn’t hesitate to book another safari with them if i’m ever in tanzania again.
