Perfect getaway
5/5

Our trip was customized and perfectly planned by James to the very last detail.
We had a short getaway and wanted to utilise our time to a maximum extend. James managed to book all transfers, internal flights and accommodations to fit perfectly those requirements and we managed to visit both Amboseli and Masai Mara. James was checking every day how things are going on. It was a great experience. Thank you!

Awesome operator and customized tour in Southern Africa
5/5

My evaluation is based on destination, communication, cost efficiency, well-coordinated excursions, upscale accommodation, and overall service quality. Namibia is a beautiful country with varieties of colorful landscape (ocean, desert, mountain) and wildlife (dolphin, whale, flamingos, big 5, and more). Bluecrane Safari checks all these criteria with one extra, emergency handling. Additionally, their tour guides are very attentive to clients, try the best to accommodate reasonable requirements, and always talk professionally even if some might treat harshly. I definitely will return to Namibia with Bluecrane Safari.

Bluecrane Safari hosted a 13-day Southern Africa tour for my group of Aug- Sep 2024. We had a great time until Sep 1, our day 2 in Namibia. One of our vehicles crashed and some got medium to significant injuries. During the long and intensive rescue process at a very remote site, we did observe that our tour guides are professionally trained to handle emergencies. Fortunately, we had brand new and solid-built safari vehicles. Otherwise, it would be much worse.

The sad accident was no one's wish and hopefully no one will ever have to deal with this. However, accidents do happen. Remember travel insurance, tightening seat belt, front sitter be alert of road and driver's condition, practice basic crash self- protection procedures, and seek best medical facilities if emergency happens for future travel reference. Our lives and wellbeing are priceless.

The Safari that won’t be forgotten
5/5

We recently went on our first private safari, and it was an incredible experience! From the moment we were picked up from the hotel, everything was super well planned. Over two amazing days, we explored Tarangire and Ngorongoro with our fantastic guide, Ludo. His knowledge of wildlife made us feel safe and excited, and he was always on the lookout for interesting sights and animals.
We learned so much and felt well taken care of throughout the trip. Although we wished we could stay longer than two days, we are very grateful to have met Ludo. We highly recommend him and Goldfinch Adventures for an unforgettable safari experience and hope to see him again on our next adventure!

Amazing honeymoon safari with African Big Cat Safaris!
5/5

We had the most amazing three days in Ngorongoro Crater and central Serengeti with African Big Cats Safaris. Emanuel and Naomi in head office were incredibly helpful planning our private and personalised safari, and were even more helpful when we unfortunately got delayed in Doha for two days on our way over and missed the first two days of our safari, which meant we needed to make some very last minute changes to our itinerary. But even with the missed days we had a great safari. Rick our driver was friendly, flexible and very informative about everything we saw. And we saw everything! We got amazing photos with the animals right next to the safari vehicle. The tented lodges were fabulous, particularly Kubu Kubu. It was all a lot more affordable than I had initially expected too - great value for money. I could not recommend this company enough!

Trip to the Equator
5/5

I was pleasantly surprised when I submitted a quote request at around midnight, not thinking it would be possible for a next day tour, and I received a message saying I could be picked up in the morning!

Adam arrived a few minutes early and we started on this adventure from Kampala to experience the equator.

He obviously loves his job and knows the route well. He answered all of my questions.

Arriving at the Equator, we started in a little shop/restaurant, then made our way across the street to see the water exhibit. We took a few pictures as well.

I was able to shop, then we returned to the restaurant which must be popular during the busy season, yet today there was no wait.

We headed back to Kampala, and went we got to the city, he chose a different route, showing me the kings palace, the straight road to parliament and the path only the king is allowed to take.

Highly recommend this tour company, and you would be lucky to have Adam as your guide.

Absolutely amazing experience
5/5

In mid-September my friend and I did a private 5-day ultimate Kenya safari with Morningstar. Over our 5 days we travelled to 3 locations - Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara. It was a lot of driving but well worth it because each location provided something different. What we didn’t see at one location we saw at one of the others. By the time we were done, we saw all of the big 5 plus lots of other amazing animals. Our favourite location for animal viewing was Masai Mara. So much to see. We also did a sunrise balloon ride here. Highly recommend that. We chose to stay in tented camps rather than hotel rooms which was a really good decision. Our favourite was The Cliff in Lake Nakuru. It was definitely a 5 star resort. Gourmet food and the “tent” was to die for.

Our guide, Alex, was absolutely amazing. With 10 years experience, he was very well connected and was in constant communication with friends and colleagues sharing information on where certain animals were so we wouldn’t miss seeing them. Thanks to this network we managed to see 5 different leopards on our last day!! Alex obviously likes what he does. He was right there with us taking pictures and videos, which he shared with us at the end of our tour.

I highly recommend Morningstar, and suggest you ask for Alex if you want to be well taken care of and ensure you get the best experience.

Kenya is the " eco-hub " of East Africa it has parks in arid regions where you can see animals adapted to dry conditions ( Oryx, gerenuk, Grevy Zebra, Reticulated giraffe ..etc) like Tsavo and Samburu, others in mountain forests where you can see Bongo, giant forest hog, and black leopards like the Aberdare NP, Amboseli with great views of mount Kilimanjaro is an elephant and birding heaven, and the Maasai Mara is the best national park in the world ( along with the adjoining Serengeti ). I visited in 2015 and 2024 and both safaris where fabulous.

Perfect safari experience with safe, caring and knowledgeable drivers/guides. Truly amazing!
5/5

Kapande and Samwel took care of our group of 10, making sure we arrived safe and sound at the Nyerere National Park. They are both highly experienced drivers and extremely knowledgable about the area. We loved the scenic road trip, the incredible sight of animals up close and the wonderful hospitality of the locals. Communication with Salumu was excellent and super flexible to accommodate all needs. We highly recommend Uwando Tours for a memorable Tanzania safari!
